  1. kaspersky it's the best AV if you're searching something that really secure your pc, I don't like what he does because he slow down the system (less then norton anyway) so I can reccomend it only if you work with windows and must secure your data from other ingenous users that can damage your work with stupid actions (receiving malware from the web or from mail); otherwise you can surely choose something different and lighter like antivir.Bye
  2. May I suggest you https://kororaproject.org/ ? It's a very nice one Is your ethernet card integrated into the mainboard?
  3. The DESIGN of this application is the best affort by microsoft to optimize this product. Do you know that from a pool the first ten requested features for office 12 were features ALREADY present in office 2003? Strange uh? Of course for office and home user the open office suite is valuable but for advanced and professional the ms suite has something more to say.Bye
  4. Isn't delphi compiler not so cheap? Very easy to use but not so affordable.. I guess..
  5. I use Google but recently msn is also giving bettere results.
  6. AceFTP is a really good program with also some quite advanced option, it's not so direct like Flashfxp that I personally prefer but it's a good choice, it's all about what do you need.. otherwise ther's always space for the cmd client
  7. I breath Jeet Kune Do :DI also teach it but always knowing that a master it's only a student that has to pay more attention
  8. I prefer daemon tools, although the last version try to install a toolbar if you don't uncheck the right box :DAlcohol and nero are nice too but commercial and not immediate, or maybe I find DT so immediate and easy because I'm just used at it But the most important thing (to me) it's that DT have a larger list of compatible format and runs great on all of them
  9. Sqlite it's a nice option, it's a light and fast database management system ideal for small application that have to work in local. If you're going to write your program from the first line of code.. well I guess you have to learn the basic of some language.. Java it's a good choice, c# also its' very simple (although not free or portable) and pratical on windows.. If you have the opportunity to install and try visual basic consider of trying Ironspeed designer, it's a very easy to use application that can do the design work of an application over a database that you create (on access or other), I reccomand it.Bye!
  10. Well, I think that there are two software that can help you out with that kind of operation, have you tried Navicat mysql and access2mysql?
  11. I think that PHP-Nuke and Mambo have different target though both are so editable. Php-Nuke it's more "amusement-oriented", intended for young community that needs a cms to contain forums, images, jokes, colors and so on, Mambo it's more "business-oriented", the layout it's quite sober and look more "professional", I guess it's more indicated to your site Anyway if you still care about phpnuke I can suggest you the easy php theme editor http://nukecops.com/article418.html It's free and very easy to use (it works like a module on your cms administration panel); I if you can't download it just drop me a line amlugil#hotmail.com Bye!
