I've been scammed on ebay with stolen paypal accounts. It ain't funny when you've already shipped the item then only get a percentage of what the auction price was. Lost lots and prob. won't ship out of North America again because of that.

My cousin has one of those laptops. I must admit its one fast laptop for the money you pay. But one thing about his is that he got it 4 months ago and already its showing about 3 dead pixels. They aren't frozen because we've tried many methods of getting them to come back and non worked. So he'll be sending it in for repair when he finds a cheaper laptop to use in the mean time.

Man i loved this game, from stage 1 to 3. Once stage 3 came out, I was soo freakin exited i spent quite a lot of coin in one day just sitting and playing. After a week i was broke and nearly !@#$ myself. Right there and then i decided not to play anymore, simply because i have a mustang 5.0L to feed and lol that gets me home. The game does eat your money but the stakes get higher when you do bets for racing, a lot cleaner than street racing =)

It depends how fast your cpu is and how much ram you have. But the built in windows themes should slow down your pc much. I think what would slow it down is the theme programs like style xp, those will slow down your pc a bit more than the ones in windows.

I was looking for a decent CMS when i came across PHP-Fusion. Look great and has quite a bit of options. You can find more information at the home site https://www.php-fusion.co.uk/home.php An example of it would be my site bashnetwerks.astahost.com Give it a try... **edit the url is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

I've been using free AVG for a while now and its worked great for me. I used to have norton antivirus but didn't like the huge amount of resources it needed to run =p But yea what also goes great with free avg is the free zonealarm. With these 2 you're pretty safe from the net. Notice from szupie: Copied from http://download.cnet.com/ZoneAlarm-Free-Firewall/3000-10435_4-10039884.html. Please use QUOTE tags. Download Zonealarm

Linux Running On iPod And guess what? You can run Doom on iPod
poy replied to finaldesign1405241487's topic in Software
One of my friends is running linux on his photo ipod, he's able to watch video but uncompressed avi. Which is big! But yea it does work and you'll have games to play when you're on the bus i guess. I just like the fact that linux is so portable =) -
With these disks comming out, everyone will have to have TB' hard drives. Thats insane, when i though dual layer disks were the top dog, blue-ray comes out with loads of space. Interesting, i can't wait to see an internal blue ray burner forsale in my computer shop. The price will be intense, so i'll just wait till the burner speeds get higher and the price will get lower. At least thats what i hope =)

Pictiger Vs Imageshack - I Say Pictiger Wins
poy replied to SunBlind's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Pictiger looks like a better solution to picture hosting. I haven't tried it yet as i'm an imageshack user. By the looks of all the points that you've pointed out i think i'll give it a try and switch over =) Thanks for the info. -

ATi, is now trying to stay on top of nvidia in the video card game of cat and mouse. I'm even in the market for a new computer and may consider this card after reading that review. The good thing is they are a canadian company and i would greatly support them as i am canadian =P. The head office isn't far from where i live, i've heard of people bin diving for videocards at ATi. I'm not sure if they find any because i'm sure that Ati would crush them so no one would get their hands on a free card =)

ATI 1300 512MB Or N-Vidia 6800 128MB Which is better?...
poy replied to webdesignunlimited's topic in Hardware Workshop
I say get the 6800 or save up and get a 7800GTX either way you're a winner with nVidia. On a topic like this you'll get mixed comments. You'll have to look at reviews sites have put up for the cards you put up. From there you'll know which one is better out of the bunch. Hope this helps in getting the video card you want. -
looks like BF2, i played it for a bit and its quite good for a free game. Also may wanna consider AmericasArmy for a free FPS. But its more simulated as the recoil in shooting is very intense and hard. Check it out if you can.

poy replied to Sarah81's topic in General Discussion
I saw that in the paper i think a week ago. It was quite interesting. Excellent shape though it had no engine Would be a really nice project for the owner to drop in more power. -
What is the model of your router and network cards? I may be of some assistance here

The keyboard is definatly unique, is it split from the number pad or is it just me. BTW that mouse looks freaking hot. Any clue as to what mouse it is? I'm using the Logitech MX510 gaming mouse as i play FPS sometimes and it does help over a ball mouse.

I'm pretty sure that battery is dead now and no longer good to use. Heh i have a 486 AST laptop and it as well has a dead battery in it. There is no point in buying a battery for it as it will cost as much as the laptops current value.
