PureHeart replied to mysyasir's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Can't access that website. My beloved FireFox says: "Can't connect to the remote server". Anyway, for a free domain, you may want to check out this site (posting require). http://www.findingresult.com/?dn=hostbidder.com&pid=9POR3TG0A -
I need to write some networking library in C++.I know C++, I know networking programming on Linux. But not, I'm working in a networking project on Windows.I may need an ebook or some reference about this. 'Cause I'm new to Windows :)Can you recommend me a eBook, just about C++ networking, on Windows?I've been Googling for that, but seems that I'm not lucky enough.

Best forum system? What does best mean? Fast, high security/reliable, or something else. You may know many popular PHP forums. So I'm not going to re-mention them. I think you should check out this Java forum. It's very fast. http://www.mvnforum.com/rg-erdr.php?_rpo=t

Hmm, I think the counter (at the beginning of this thread) can't be deloyed on busy site. Because if many pages read and write that file at once, there can be a error when accessing alle.txt

I wish I had some extra system (although that I had 3 PC already). I think that system is great for software testing. If you develop a application. You may want to test it on that system. If you're not a programmer. Such a system is still useful for backup purpose, anyway.

I've just check the orginal article. That sounds really interesting. I want to know a little bit about its price as I'm going to purchase a new graphic card. Do you know where can I find such information?

How Do I Write Code Using WinSock Under .NET ?
PureHeart replied to PureHeart's topic in Programming
There're two different part in my Application. One for server and one for client. The clients connect to the server and send command (as text), graphic(bitmap), mutimedia. I need to make communication between the server and clients. The app only open one connection for each client. So, I need to detect which kind of data is being transfer. Well, you have written programs using system.net . I would be very happy if you send me your code (just for reference). My email address is thepureheart@gmail.com -
Suse Vs. Redhat Suse vs. Redhat
PureHeart replied to affhotspot's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I still perfer RedHat for its quality. After RedHat 9, that OS is not free anymore. Anyway, there's a replacement for RedHat : Fedora Core (OpenSource and Free), Fedora is from RedHat inc also. It provide the lastest technology and include almost eveything a open source developer need. I've been using RedHat from ver 7 and Fedora Core since ver 1. Foe SuSE, I think it's a good choice for beginner/newcommer. SuSE is faster on old machines. But since I had enough to buy new systems, I don't have to care much about that. -
[hosting] What To Delete And What To Keep ?
PureHeart replied to dhanesh1405241511's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Well, a dot at the beginning of filename means a hidden files. In most case, you ftp client won't display that file to you. Why is the file hidden? Because it contain important information like configuration, data. If you delete those file, you'll meet lots of trouble. DON'T delete them. Let the server handle them. PS:A dot at the beginning is vaild in *NIX only, you can't create such a file in Windows -
Hold it. I've read that article before your post. But they require to config something from the server. I usually, I don't have permission to do that. The library also require a PHP-recompile, which seem to be impossible. I need an library that can run directly from PHP code. Inshort, a PHP script. Platform Independent

I'm thinking about keeping the money until I get more. If I try my best, I may win $200-$500 this year. The IT contests are ways for me to get income. Alright, I may buy 1GB RAM. Because I really need it for my project.

How Can I Delete Old Files In Windows Xp ? HELP
PureHeart replied to PureHeart's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Here's the folder option. Nothing to enable. I tried disabling SIMPLE SHARING, but nothing happen. I'm using Windows XP Professional - Service Pack 2. What a pity, you are not using XP. Otherwise, I may invite you to fix my problem here, at my PC.
