  1. In all honesty I'd probably have to get both consoles. I would buy the PS3 first since I'm a big fan of PSP and I here theres going to be a UMD player on the PS3. But, for XBox360 I would love to see another Halo game come out but even then there just isn't enough games on the first xbox to persuade me to buy it so, I think it would be up to what launch titles and upcoming games were coming out in the realitive future would be the key point in my choice of consoles.
  2. I played the demo last night. I have to say that even I was impressed with the new engine they have. I wish they added at least a few more maps in the demo but, its just to pull you in and buy their game I guess. Its defidently a must buy for anyone who loves MMO FPS games.
  3. Website: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Theme: Massive Multiplayer Online gaming website with forums, guides, and virtual item shop. Active: Online but still being updated daily Added - m^e
  4. I've only played it at the mall but I plan on purchasing it as soon as the price drops. I play bass so I too have some talent with keeping rhythm but I think the learning curve is diverse enough where almost anyone could play this game.
  5. After reading this topic last night I fealt this strong urge to play it. The time was around 9:00 p.m. and I told my friend that we should play it again so then we're both in his room looking all over for the CD.Well, half hour later we can't find the disc so I came up with the idea of going out and trying to buy it for like $5 or whatever it costs now. We, get to Wal-Mart and they don't have it anymore, and then I go out to the mall, they just closed down. I go over to BestBuy they only have it in a $20 Battle Chest (I still had my Brood War disc so I didn't need that). I even found a piece of paper with my CD key on it and my friend found his old CD jewel case with his. Long story short we never found it but we're going to have to get it today because we want to play it so bad again.
  6. I played MU Online for a little while yesterday. I dind't really like it from what I've played of it. For some reason all of the text is really bad looking too (I can barely read it). I played maple story for a little while once, its not that bad of a game but I couldn't really manage to stick with that game either. I think I have ADD when it comes to online games lol.
  7. I started playing Diablo 2 all over again and if they made Diablo 3 that would be one of the best action RPGs in the world. mikaelgn - they made starcraft for N64 but I only played that for a little bit, the PC version is much better. And also Starcraft:Ghost is a First Person Shooter, it isn't a strategy game like the original Starcraft.
  8. I've played alot of them but my two most favorites is Tetris worlds on PS2 and of course the original. I like the PS2 one because of the leveling up and even though they altered so much new game styles most of them are actually kind of fun. Plus that game gets reallly fast and sort of keeps you hooked as much as the original.
  9. I used to play this game almost every minute I possibly could. The only problem was I only had dial up when the game came out and it was a little difficult sometimes staying in a full game. I love the map editing tools that came with the game as it inspiried me to become a programer in the first place. I was making custom maps in starcraft when I was only 12 years old
  10. I always wondered how some people where able to get head shots and stuff when I was barely around a corner. Thanks for this video on the hit boxes. Also, where can you get the program that displays the hit boxes like the one in the video so you could aim at the hit boxes then instead of the avatar right? I think that would improve your skill alot.
  11. I only played DOA 2: Hardcore on PS2. I have to admit thats one of my favorite PS2 fighting games. The game is extremely short but its really fun to play with 4 players doing tag team mode. And I also enjoy the survival mode to try to unlock the costumes. I love how they made this game and I wouldn't mind geting an XBox some day to be able to play these games online.
  12. The original Street Fighter was the first ever fighting game I ever played. That game got me into the whole concept of fighting games and I ended up playing it for countless hours as a kid. I had it for supernintendo and sega. After a while though I moved on to Mortal Kombat when that became the next best thing (mainly because it is extremely violent and thats always interesting when you're a kid )
  13. Personally, the thought of giant squids scares the hell out of me. I don't know maybe it is from those horrible fascinations with going out into the ocean and something grabbing me from under the water.I would probably fear for my life if i had to go deep sea diving and see one of those things. Could you imagine getting up to one of those things and it just being really mad and taking it's giant tenticle and smacking you with it. I can guarantee you it would not feel good.
  14. Today I found out some quite disturbing news. As we all know hiv/aids are spreading quickly in America. Funny thing is this year was supposed to be the year that America tried to break the record of how many Americans have Hiv/Aids.Sadly, we rose the numbers instead of lowering them. So our great government decided to take action. They are now going to try harder to take care of this horrible problem. Taking more abrasive action. Not that I have a problem with this at all, but I do stop and wonder, " What about Africa?"In Africa 1 in 3 people are infected with HIV. 1 IN 3!!! However the government is more concerned about us. We are one of the richest countries in the world. Don't we have a moral responsibility to others? Are we only supposed to care about ourselves?I don't know maybe it is just my own opinion. I would like to hear what others think though.
  15. As for a really cool game site that is for free. Try popcap.com or pogo.comThey have really cool classic games that are free. Such as zuma and bejeweled. They also have really nice new games they made. i totally recomend both of those sites. As for flash games my personal favorite Alien Hominid on newgrounds.com The site itself if friggin hilarious. Once again I recomend the site to anyone, as long as they are at an appropiate age. The site contains some explicit content.
  16. Try hiting the tools --> Options --> Then hit the tab for Web features and make sure that on the bottom "Enable Java" and "Enable Javascript" is enabled. I use Firefox to play runescape and it works just fine. The only thing that Firefox doesn't seem to do when I play Runescape is give me sound, but thats O.K.
  17. I'm downloading MU Online right now guys. I saw the site and it looks amazing. It looks like a more updated Diablo 2 and I've been playing that again alot lately so I'm really excited right now about MU. Is Ragnorak really free? I played that once for the free month trial but I never wanted to really pay to play that game because it didn't keep me into it as much as other games could.I also play Runescape right now but its more of a hobby than entertainment sometimes. I mean its more f something to level up every now and then so I too can get rich. I'm a member there but havn't done too many quests yet. Also, I don't know if this text based game exists still or not but it was called http://www.racewarkingdoms.com/ check that site out or http://www.lordsoflords.com/ I played that one for a little while too but it has no storyline lol.
  18. I didn't care for this game as much as the other three either. I didn't like the idea of going through almost the whole entire game all over again. I fealt that they sort of rushed through to make this game as quickly as possible. The story and graphics aren't that bad its just ashame that the gameplay didn't catch me like the others did. I didn't even like the story for Silent Hill 2 all that much but I was able to stick through that game entirely in about 2 days. For some reason I havn't been able to beat this game and I agree if SH5 was set up like this I'm defidently not going to purchase it either. Because of this game I'm probably only going to rent the next installment first before purchasing.Other than that this game still kept true to some of the aspects of Silent Hill, I just don't know what it lacked that kept me from finishing it.
  19. They have a PC version out now, my friend has it it gets a little choppy when you get into high action with shootouts etc. But the game is still amazing. I'd prefer the PS2 version if you have one because most people don't have that great of a video card.I can't wait until they make the new Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for PSP. GTA on the go would be amazing!
  20. I loved the whole series, but, I'm yet to beat MGS3. I agree that the controls are alittle weird but its not a big problem because you do eventually get used to it. If you guys own a PSP and love the plot to these games, and enjoy turn based strategy then you should defidently check out Metal Gear Acid. The story is just as good as the MGS series but, there is a lack of voice acting and lack of good CG clips.
  21. I thought this game was alright. But, after you beat it once with every character, (which only took me about a day) I kind of got bored of the game. I maxed out all of the character in another day because all you have to do is skip the cut scenes and do the same cheap move over and over again. Lol I loved the quote on the back of the box "Play the Action Movie" thats what I sort of fealt like it was. Playing a movie.I sort of also fealt that this game was more or less of a graphics test for the FFX engine.Anyways, I didn't completely hate it but its not worth owning because you can beat it in the few days of renting
  22. I thought this game was alot more than just an RPG to try to get people into rpgs. I thought it was square's way of trying to prove that not all RPGs have to be set in medevil time with just knights, mages, and kings. They did an excellent job with the story line and their game is very well designed. If they ever made a remake of this with updated graphics I would buy it the first day it came out.
  23. Lol, Until I read this post I totaly forgot about this game. I got all the way up to chapter 5 and I never even finished the game. Its not that I didn't like it, but, rather I just never had enough time to play the game. I liked Final Fantasy X better in the story line though. I love how they did the old school class system in X-2.
  24. I even played this game for a little while. The graphics reminded me of Final Fantasy 5 on Super Nintendo. The gameplay wasn't the greatest. There seemed to be a lack of unique ness to characters. Everyone looked the same and there were hardly and diversity in the monsters that you were able to fight.
  25. I havn't played this game for a very long time. My account was BombKorea. I sort of got sick of the game after they kept adding more and more equipment to try to get you hooked on it. It just sort of made me angry as I was saving up for one thing but then I would finally get it but, then they would just replace it with something better.
