OK i wanna add my 2 cents...I have a clear desktop cuz i hide my icons. I like seeing the wallpaper behind, plus with all of the stuff i have on my computer the desktop is somewhat cluttered haha.And in all reality i do delete some of that stuff because unless you save files and other stuff to your desktop, it is all nothing but shortcuts which there isnt really any harm in deleting.I ususally just slap what i need in the quick launch or in the shortcut list in the Start Menu.

Hmmm somehow i think this is in the wrong section... seeing how this is web design and html and you are talkin about video games. But to answer your question so I myself am not off topic, I havent played either of them, but if i had to choose one to get and play i believe i would go with Battlefield 2. Something about the first one just makes me want to play the second one. Maybe its the tanks????

im confused, we are talkin about a watermark on a still image correct. If thats the case you dont really need any extra programs or anything, just use photoshop.Open you pic in photoshop, click the text button, adjust your settings accordingly and then type away. If you want it to be somewhat transparent, all you gotta do is click on the text layer and change its opacity.The only draw back is you would have to do this on every picture by hand.. unless you had them all in one window as multiple layers, then you just save them all as different pictures...then again i tend to do stuff the long way so if the above posts are quicker and easier, go for it!

cool.. i use 3DS Max quite a bit so this shouldnt be a problem haha i use ps a lot as well but i dont usually mix the 2 that often.. but i prolly should spend some more time playin around and seeing what i can come up with

i definately agree with this.. not only are people with cellphones while driving dangerous, they make other drivers dangerous by annoying the crap outta the other drivers.. then road rage comes into play and woah.. no good ever comes from that.i dont use a cellphone while driving.. i text a lot and if im in the car im at a stoplight or parked if i touch my phone.. if someone calls me i call them back when im parked cuz im not coordinated enough to mess with my phone and drive at the same time haha

omg those are friggin awesome... i got to the bubble picture and i said to myself.. this one is great and has to be my favorite.. then i scrolled down more and every picture under it i said to myself.. wow this one is my favorite.. no this one is my favorite.. friggin all of them are my favorites.. you definately have to add a tutorial, cuz i would really like to know how you got the bubbles looking so realistic, with the highlights and reflections... i mean i have an idea but geez.. you should really think about a tutorial seriously it would be greatly appreciated

yeah i usually do that for almost anyone who asks.. it really depends on what the person wants and if i am able to do it

wow that is a really cool looking image.. i could use that for so many different things... really good tutorial, but you should have put this in the How-to section, thats where all tutorials go, plus you can get more points for it in there

Thanks! I used a combination of Photoshop and Flash to make these sigs. I want to learn how to use ImageReady to do that because from what I have been told, ImageReady makes video sigs smaller in size and they dont end up grainy looking. Thats cool I would like to see your Halo banners I did one for a friend on another site one time, it came out pretty good.. if I can find it I will post it, and you can post yours and we can have a super cool Halo thng goin heehee

the first one.. well after the correct link.. but anyhoo the first one i dont like.. the background clashes with the picture and i cannot really tell what is going on..the rest of them are good, i especially like the samus one.. the colors go really good together.. the 2nd one.. i just love the background on it.. your gonna have to share you secret for that one hahathe last sig is very nice as well.. nice calming colors with a good pic that complements it.. good job!!!

your not bad for someone new to photoshop.. i like the color and the concept of the sig but i concur with Zony, the picture is rather tall... generally its a good idea to keep the height under 200, at least from my experience.. the only other suggestions i would make would to get the cutout areas to be transparent instead of the gray box, it would look so much betterand as much as i like the job you did on the full body shot of the character, maybe cuttin off the bottom half would be good, right at the border of the greenish background. To me it just looks a little odd like that.. other than that it is very nice, i know it sounds like i dont think so, and im not trying to be harsh or anything, just offering you some friendly input

that is very true about the spamming crap.. the main reason i ask is because i dont want to be vulnerable, i mean i have never heard of EZ until i found the free year thing, but i have heard about norton and its reputation. But i am gonna take your advice, cuz you are right. If it aint broke dont fix it, and if it does break, the free norton will be there as long as i am a student haha well it should be anyway, my luck would be the school would stop doing that right before i needed to switch

a while back i got EZ Antivirus.. the company was giving out free 1 year subscriptions. I used to have Norton Antivirus, and I thought it was great except for the load up time. Anyway EZ Seems to be really good, it loads quick, it protects well, and it was free haha.Has anyone else ever used it, because i found out that i can get a year of norton for free through my school, and i was wanting some opinions on if i should switch back to it or keep EZ. At the time I am leaning towards keeping EZ just cuz i havent had any problems with it and im too lazy to uninstall it and install norton haha!any help is greatly appreciated

nice tutorial there, can come in handy for a lot of things. I already knew how to do this, but it is a great tutorial for those dabbling in flash

I agree with the majority here, flash is a great tool to use for making animations that are small in size.. I use it a lot, and depending on what your are trying to make in the intro, its probably your best bet.Making most of the intro in Flash will greatly reduce file size, as will saving it as a swf file and not an animated gif or avi.if you need some help making it feel free to send me a message and i can help to the best of my abilities

hmmm i was having the login problems and trouble seeing my hosting credits.. the other problem i was having was that last night i had 1.5 credits and when i checked a bit ago it was at -4.. i dunno if that was a glitch, but i thought each credit represented a day?

man that one is pretty awesome too.. i think the ripple went better with the first one though... it goes well with that one and i definately like the picture behind it, but i think it adds more to the first one

i love it and would also like to see a tutorial about how you did that... what programs did you use to make it? in the past i have had ideas similar to that but i could never ever get it remotely close to the picture in my head haha... I love your current sig as well.. especially the handprint inside the flower

I really want to get my hands on that slim ipod... ive been needing one for a long time now.. my cd player just isnt cutting it anymore hahaI dunno if i should hold out for one of the new ones, or if i should go find a cheaper older model at the store or something.. i dont think i need all the fanciness, just something that can hold a bunch of songs and play them whenever i tell it to haha

The thing a lot of people forget is that almost every single decision made has to pass through congress and other places before it becomes an action... so you cant just blame bush "stupid decisions" and im sorry i dont see how people say Bush is racist.. i mean the majority of people still stranded are black, and all rescue efforts are movin them out as fast as they can, but im having a hard time putting that together as equalling racism... am i missing something, please tell me cuz i want to be more informed about this.
