Hello all mac and pc freaks! I found this software, that emulates mac os. Now you will say blah!, there is so much of thoose programs lately, and everything is same about them... but this one that I discovered today can even emulate macos panther, and run it actually. Im just downlaoding it now - its called CherryOS. Here is the link for download. With that emulator you only need an legal copy of Mac OSX cd, so you can install it on your pc and run it. It's a good thing for users who can't decide to buy mac or not... Im not sure how it works yet, ill try it as soon as I download it, so expect details later...

hey try to update your cd-rw's firmware. Goto manufacturer's webpage and try to find firmware for your cd-rw, and as pleople said here update your version of nero, that should help.

Hello! while browsing the net, I found this interesting project. Its a searchengine that uses code from google search and yahoo search. You eneter a keyword and it gives you results in yahoo and google in one splited screen. It's pretty interesting if you constantly check your page rank and you must compare results between 2 powerful search engines like yagoo! and google. Anyway there are many software solutions that you can buy, and they have more specific stuff than just comparing results, but hey, this one is free... Im OK with .tk domains. I have one. http://www.finaldesign.tk/ - try to check if mine have an popup. Look carefuly when you are applying for .tk domain. when you are registering there is a little catch: try NOT to check that little checkbox that says "display popup..." (it's somewhere in the marketing section) and there you go there is no more that annoying popup... But that thing with the frameset - that is the only thing what's wrong about them...

Nice tip. But I more use TIF image file standard. It also have an alpha channel so there is no need for me to use TGA. Anyway my clients also do not use TGA. Everyone are probably using TIF format to store theire images to an good quality format...

If you want a "pro" look you can use white... But you can use any other light colors. In fact, you can use any color you like just make it very light, almost white but not white... that way still looks pro. It fits to rest of your web's colors and it's not still white like milion of other sites...

First of all choose your colors. Try to use as little as possible colors, like 2 or 3 colors max. Then Choose tints for that colors. Eg.: You can use blue color, and then all variations of blue - from light blue to very dark blue (ok?)... Then use a piece of paper and try to draw as simple as possible how would you like your website to look (That is Page layout)... Then scan that paper (or capture it with digital camera or webcam or anything digital that can transfer image to your computer) and put it in your image software (Like photoshop, photopaint, gimp or any other you use.) Now goes the hard part of job... You must draw. You must draw on top of your page layout. Keep that layout on bottom as a reffering image, to where what goes... Try to go on some tutorial pages where you can findout how to make some cool effects in photoshop or similar image editing programs... Try to use that effects in your page layout. Now apply your color selection to your page... Choose some cool font for your page. Use that font, and finally flattern whole image (blend all layers in one composite layer) and save that kind of image in separate file... Now you have to slice it up. It's easy task to do in Photoshop but hard to do in many other programs. That is basicly you cut an image to smaller image parts and then make matching table in dreamweaver or whatever program you use for editing html - and finally insert your slices images in that table. Everything should fit in it's own place. Now you have your fist Template done.... This wasn't so hard...

Photoshop is industry standard for graphic design and DTP. Everyone know that. There is no need for ever making a discussion on that subject. So, my vote goes to Photoshop. It's widely known as one of the best softwares for image manipulation that money can buy today.

However, there is a solution for your problem... I assume that you have some PDF file that you want to display trough your Flash file. I assume again that you have your original "open" files from where you created your PDF files. Now there is a software that convertes any "printable" document form it's original format to PDF or FLASH document. Now you want that document to be converted to FLASH... Ok, so software is called "Macromedia FlashPaper 2" and you can read more about it HERE and Buy it maybe... So my idea is to print your document via FLASHPAPER 2 and make an flash file. Now you have no need to make an PDF reader in Flash, you just need to read FLASH file. Simple isn't? Here you can see how FlashPaper works (it's a example made in flash) Anyway if you do not have original files from where PDF's are created you can still import that files to CorelDraw or AdobeIllustrator or Macromedia FreeHand and from them again print to Flash file... I hope you understand what Im trying to say here...

I kinda like it much. It's plain, but still have that loon'n'feel of 3d. Like that bullet holes. And it's simplecolored Grey/Red - it's a nice contrast. Very nice. Bullet holes maybe should be more detailed. Everything else is good.

It looks kinda like a banner to me. Logo itself must be something in combiantion with text and sign. Logo consists from "A sign" and "Text"... Sign can be anything you like, as loong as you can explain it's look an connect it with that what you represent. Text can be anything too - anything that explains what it stands for... if you know what I mean here... Anyway try to make that logo plain first, and In black&white. Then colorize it. It's easier that way. And you can make a 2 or 3 combination then put them here for a review. Keep like that...

Google is very good search engine, but I've noticed lately that MSN is getting better. Many new websites you can't find on google, but on MSN they are aleady up when you search. Like my website - on google it's page rank is on the 4 or 5 place when you search with term "finaldesign" but on MSN it's on 1st place, and I've seen in my weblogs that MSNBot is accesing my webpage many more times than GoogleBot... So I think that Google is slowing down a bit...
