  1. my vote goes for winamp, cos really it's just an very goood player, that started with just mp3's, midi & mods and now it plays all and any playable multimedia format... It's just the best that can be, only one thing I dont like about winamp - it's not free anymore...
  2. My vote goes to: INTEL. Why? It's just the intel company exists soo damn long. they have probably technology that will break your *bottom* down when you see it, maybe they even got processors that is beyond 5 or maybe 10 Ghz... But you will say what the hell - that is not possible... Well you may think it's not... but consider this: What would happen if they release new "pentium", "optium", "tentium" or whatever they call it - processor, and let's say they gave the price for it like 1500$ and all other inter procesors are sold for half-price... Now think what would happen they will sell anything they have, because this would be cheap and good! But why to do that, when they can release every year one or two new processors and sell them all for the same price... and next year again and again... This way they collect a bunch of more money!. It's all about money any politics... Ok enough about that.. Intel really is a biggest and leading processor microchip company and they can crush competitors but why - then would be no competition and this way - they can steal some ideas and new technologies from cometitors.. another good thing about them. Now there is that AMD. Why they are good enoguh to mention anything about them? well.. they have cheap processors... and they always find a way to make a processor that works pretty good with minimum of effort and investment to it's development from hardware side - they always find some tricks to make processor better working... and that tricks are sometimes cheating... but what a hell - we are all just people... Anyway I have AMD... Duron... Why? because I cant buy myself Intel. If you think AMD is junk and you prefer INTEL - go to My Webpage <- snipped -> and help me buy an INTEL processor... }
  3. Nice concept, anyway, maybe to add more sharpened details... Nice work...
  4. well, I too prefer google, but anyway sometimes you need to compare results and this is a great way to do it between google and yahoo.
  5. thanks but noone here didn't notice that wallpaper has spelling error. anyway I've corrected it now
  6. hey I still need some help with this... Ok I've managed to understand something, and make some xml files... but I dont understand if I make an XML document, then make one XSLT document so I can display properly and nice that XML...Now how can I use CSS in that XSLT document, and apply that CSS on XSLT elements... (if you don't understand exactly what I want I'll put a source Code here...)thanks!
  7. so maybe I make a revision and done just that Im very glad that you like it.
  8. Last night I decided to make a little tribute to Xisto's great service, so I made wallpaper for Xisto... If you like it you can see it here...
  9. Thanks for the reply man, so it means that if I want transformation on the server side, I need to write XML-Parser... Isn't that already written by someone...? Do you know maybe is XSLT-support enabled on Xisto servers?
  10. On the other hand, just what the man said: you could do a Google search while you wait. You may find this keyword interesting: "Vocal cutter" Or you can visit this link - they have a list of many audio software, maybe you find something interesting. There is another way. You can remove vocals or extract just them in numerous sound editing programs. A simple equalizer can do the job, but for a little higher quality you must use a program like Wave Lab, Gold Wave, Sound Forge, CoolEdit or similar... ----------------------- Here is a simple tutorial for vocal removing / extracting for Sound Forge: 1) Open the audio file. 2) Choose Edit > Select All to select all the data in the file. 3) Choose Process > Channel Converter. 4) In the Channel Converter dialog box, choose the Stereo to Stereo - Vocal Cut preset. 5) If you want to end up with a pseudo-stereo file, no other settings are necessary. If you want to end up with a pseudo-mono file, activate the Invert Right Channel Mix option. Using this option makes the final results sound a bit better. 6) Click OK. ----------------------- Here is a tutorial for CoolEdit Pro: 1) Open the audio file. 2) Choose Edit > Select Entire Wave to select all the data in the file. 3) Choose Transform > Amplitude > Channel Mixer. 4) In the Channel Mixer dialog box, choose the Vocal Cut preset. 5) If you want to end up with a pseudo-stereo file, deactivate the New Right Channel Invert option. If you want to end up with a pseudo-mono file, no other settings are necessary. As I mentioned earlier, the mono file sounds better. 6) Click OK. ----------------------- I hope this little tutorial/info would help you.
  11. Well, because of my work at design office, I stuck with my exam at colledge. It's an exam of XML. I must make an XML+XSLT compatible web site with 4 pages minimum, of description of how I did it. Now, I do not know much of XML, so if anyone here have some tutorials, ebooks, links that would help me, I would be eternaly gratefull...
  12. Thanks for the tips, I'll keep them in my mind for future clients that try to steal my work!
  13. Hey, probably there is some software to do that, but the simplest and easiest way to do that is to take that picture, and diassemble that object you want in 3d to simplest parts, like speheres (balls), triangles - pyramids, cubes, and other shapes.. and then model that in some 3d programs...
  14. I could say you are quite good at modeling. I too use Cinema 4D, and I found Cinema to be easiest to learn, and have high usability. You can check my artwork here or here.
  15. man you really have make some credits with such a loong post :)anyway in CMYK shortcut K stands for "Key" because in Offset printing maschine CMYK is a four color process of printing and often and almost always Black ink is printed last, as the ink that add contrast and realistick black to image... Because of that it's has "K" shortcut as "Key" or last color...
  16. yes typography can be very interesting aspect of designing, you must choose apropriate font, size and scale of that font, and use it in best possible way in interaction with photos and graphics or such.... you can find more info about designing on my homepage. Link is banner in my signature.
  17. hmm... This is not logo, this is banner. You might want to make logo in one of vector design programs like CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator or Freehand maybe... Eitherway if you end up with logo in photoshop, as soon as you will need a larger logo you could not enlarge it because it's made in photoshop and it's in raster graphic... If you know what im trying to explain here... Anyway for the logo, try to make it black and white first and then if you like what you done, colorize it... don't add such backgrounds at first... make it plain, and then add all the colorific stuff.. You might want to go to my webpage, you can find usefull info on logo designing: the link is here
  18. I think they have shitload of spyware... I downloaded before from them, and they have some kind of javascript software that you need to download from them if you want mp3's but now they use activex, probably they can load you with spyware that way...
  19. firefox is better than IE but eventually it will became target of advetising company and further more there will be more annoying popups and bugs that give chance to people like "coolwebsearch" to advertise their stuff. It's just that way.
