Have you made sure you plugged in the power from the PSU to your GFX card? There should be a power jack to plug into because my NVIDIA GeForce 6600 card needs extra power from my PSU.xboxrulz -
Web Designers Can Have A Myspace Too!
xboxrulz1405241485 replied to mtnbluet's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I don't find MySpace as being a tool. I think web designers can just use their own website as a tool for their skins and etc.MySpace, I don't see anything to make web design any easier.xboxrulz -

However, you must first define what user-friendly is. Proponents of command line interface users find Linux very user-friendly.xboxrulz -

Well, I was understand where he is coming from, I too had difficult with English during my early grades (having studying in Hong Kong during my kindergarten years). However, even other people had picked on me in the past, but none of these actions led me to snap or be quiet about it.I understand how he feels, but I definitely don't agree with him to come to the point of snapping and ranting to the NBC.xboxrulz -

Wasn't that the cause of American isolationism during the 1930s? To isolate oneself to protect the people within it? xboxrulz -

When thinking about Real Time Strategy (RTS) games, people tend to think that it can only work well with the keyboard and mouse (KBM). I'm here to tell you, that is definitely a myth, if the game creator can make the controls work properly. I'll tell you that it's much faster and easier to manage your troops with a controller (or gamepad) than with KBM. I'll also give you advantages/disadvantages of both versions. PC: Advantages: * Cheaper by $10 * Connect to a vast network on EA Nation * "Box Select" instead of "Proximity Select"* * Number grouping (easier to group) Disadvantages: * Scrolling is slow if you don't have a "non-gamer" PC * Lag when there's too much enemy (50+), even on some high-end PCs * No video-chat support * No stunning graphics, unless you have a high-end PC Rating: 8.8/10 XBOX 360: Advantages: * Controller buttons are very easy to access and are very close together * Very fast scrolling through the map, no matter how many things are happening at once. * Stunning graphics, always * Video-chat support with XBOX Live Vision camera * Rarely lags if you have many troops fighting. Even when the troops aren't drawn on screen. * Connection to a vast network of gamers on XBOX Live. Disadvantages: * "Proximity Select" instead of "Box Select"* * Keyboard number shortcut missing, must access group tab for groups. * $10 more expensive Rating: 9/10 * Proximity select is a way EA combats selecting troops, by first hitting A on the gamepad on one troop and hold the left trigger and choose the centre of your group to select the troops nearby, no matter what the troop is. Can be annoying when you choose more troops than you need. *Box select is a KBM function where you drag your mouse and whoever is in the box is selected for battle. Not as annoying as the proximity select. Of course there are people in the PC world would say I'm crazy for siding for the console version. However, I would tell them to try both versions and tell me if the console version is really that bad. Verdict: Console xboxrulz

Windows Linux? Coalition of Windows and Novell
xboxrulz1405241485 replied to beatgammit's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Thing is, the truth of this article means that if they were ever into a legal dispute over something like SCO vs. Linux, Novell would be covered, if they went like "Microsoft vs. Linux".xboxrulz -

It IS, unfortunately the WORST school shooting in North America. Columbine unfortunately lost half the number as to the VA Tech massacre. By the way, usually I seldomly buy newspapers, but the scans you see up top are from yesterday's Toronto Star that I bought. xboxrulz -
On April 16th, 2007, North America had experienced one of the most disturbing news, aside from Columbine and 9/11. This was the VA Tech Massacre. Toronto Star Frontpage headline of the massacre. Reportedly, the shooter, Cho Seung-Hui was 23 year old and of South Korean descent. At 07:15, he started his rampage across the school campus and killed 2 people. After 2 hours or so, he started to attack a classroom in Norris Hall, a kilometre away from the dorm room which he started to attack earlier. In the end, he left 33 dead on campus including himself. Map of campus and verbatim email sent by campus officials. A list of the dead had been published by the CBC here: * Emily Hilscher, 18, of Woodville, Va., veterinary science student. * Ryan Clark, 22, of Martinez, Ga., biology and English major. * Liviu Librescu, 76, engineering science and mathematics lecturer. * Kevin Granata, age unknown, engineering science and mechanics professor. * G.V. Loganathan, 51, civil and environmental engineering professor. * Christopher James Bishop, 35, German instructor. * Henry Lee, computer engineering. * Maxine Turner, senior in chemical engineering. * Matt La Porte, a first-year student. * Juan Ortiz, a graduate student. * Jarrett Lane, a senior. * Leslie Sherman, a second-year student. * Caitline Hammaren, a second-year student. * Reema Samaha, a first-year student. * Ross Alameddine, a student from Saugus, Mass. * Mary Read, a first-year student. Source Here, I reach my sympathy for those who died in this tragic event, and their families. Also, I wish that similar events shall never happen again. I also hereby put in my full support for the new anti-bullying legislature put forth by the Ontario Governement to end bullying in any form including cyber bullying. This legislation will allow schools across the province to expell or suspend those who bully others at school. Even on the Internet, including videos, images and blogs. CBC News Coverage xboxrulz
