  1. Dead Kennedys - Nazi Punks **** Off (best song ever!)Worst group ever? Audio Slave, they took two great bands and ruined them. Audio slave has the Guitarist, bass and Drummer from Rage and the Singer from Sound Garden, but they don't use their abilities at all. Where are the amazing guitars from Rage? And the vocals atr terrible, they really screwed this one up. Plus, theyre on all the corporate stations now, you know the ones that wont play the really good stuff. Not to offend, but it looks like most of you guys are just listing current top 20 artists, its like listening to KC Kassum, and not when he was voicing Shaggy from ScoobyDoo. There are So many great bands out there that just don't get radio play on all the corporate, especially clearchannel with their baned songs, try and find an indy station or a college show you like, I ensure you you'll still here some of the stuff you like, but you'll also be open to a whole new world of music.

  2. Vinyl is what music was prined on befor cd's, tapes or even atracks. A record, more commonly known as a Vinyl, is a 12" or 7" disk that plaves on a record player, or turntable. It is read by a dimond stylus and then runs to your home thearter or sterio. The sound quality on a vinyl is amazing, much clearer than cd and much cleared than an mp3.Hope that answered your question.

  4. Just got Dead kennedys - Fresh Fruit for rotting Vegetables (their best album) on vinyl and it is amazing, as a pluss it is an actual Alternative Tenticles pressing, not some corporate press. I also got an origional pressing of Jannis Jopplins album Pearl, she is the greatest female singer of all times, and the sound is crystal clear on the vinyl. Got to love great albums. Anyone else own vinyl?

  5. I don't believe that animals lack the intellect to grasp the concept. If you notice you rairly stumble across an animal that died a natural death. The understand that they are dying and seek a secluded safe place to spend there last few weeks befor dying. Because of this simple fact, I think that animals are more intelligent than humans when it comes to understanding life and death.

  6. Just wondering... Should we be experimenting with this sort of thing.

What if we DO find a way to travel back in time... Or we can give something the speed of light... Could you imagine what could happen???

People would start to 'fix' things that went wrong in the past, assasinations, wars, hitler... So the whole world would be different. And my opinion is that we just have to leave the past as it is, and not trying to invent such technology, since (imo) that it will bring more harm than good.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I don't think you could change the past, heres why. Anything that we know now happened regardless of future events. If someone in the future really went back and changed something, that is what our current reality would be. No 'changes to the past will actually be changes for us, they will simply be events that happened already. Thus I don't think anyone can go back in time and for example, kill Hitler's parents befor he was concieved. My theory is, if time travel is possible, then we cannot change our past. Everything that has happened will remain as it was, I think that time travel will only allow for visiting other times, not directly, or indirectly, changing the course of history.

  7. uh yeah, tehre is Something you can do about it. Don't be gay. Oh yeah, and you aren't bon gay. And yeah, I think that discriminating your actions should be against the law, it breaks one of the ammendment thingies.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The constitution is so outdated as is the bible. We have to stop living by these things. There are a few things that I think should be a given for all people no mater age, sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, or anything else.

You have the right to be happy, no one can take this from you.

You have the right to express yourself in anyway, as long as it does not directly harm someone, or is intended to harm someone.

You have the right to love how you want to love, not book can tell you otherwise.

You have the right to pratice any religion or no religion with out fear of persicution.

You have the right to be free.

Unfortunatly, humans are pretty much scum and treat each other terribly. We stick our noses in other peoples buisness and tell them how they should live their lives. We are cruel to one another, and we are just b******* in general. We need to get a grip on ourself and let everyone live there life how they want to live it.

  8. Old offspring, pre Americana, is punk. Everything after that just sucked beause they soldout. and went very mainstream. I think to be a punk band, you can't go mainstream. Like there are many good punk bands that are very popular, but they don't go mainstream to get more fans. Punks about not fitting in with society, and that's not what moden 'punk' is becoming. In an era where MTV controls the masses, the olny bands to get exposure will be those that conform to societys ideas of teenage rebellion. **** that, punk died in 1986 with the disbaning of the origional Dead Kennedys. There have been great punk bands since then, but punk is dead! It's spirit lives on in those that remember when music stood for something other than greed and fortune. Ah, to relive the hayday of punk music. To be at the Roxy, the Deaf Club, the shaddy spots in NYC and Boston and to se MC5 in Detroit or The Roxy as CCrass tore the place up. I'd give anything to travel back to the era of punk.RIP Punk 1969-1986Live fast, **** hard, die young!

  9. The Beatles are what made modern music possible. I am currently looking for a mint copy of the White Album, obiously I only want vinal. If anyone knows where I can get a copy please PM me. Price is not an issue. This is the single greatest album in rock 'n' roll history. I am not a fan of most of the British Invasion, but I love the Beatles. Without them, music would not be the way it is today. They allowed the launch of the punk revolution of the late 60's and early 70's by starting the rock 'n'n roll revolution. Music in all genras is the way it is today because of them.
