Yeah Ws_FTP Pro is the best!!!!!!!!!!!You can do everything in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But, always search for simplicity.. if your trying to upload or download something small.. use your browser ftp... you can surf the site as a windows folder (sorry linux os's, i don't know how is it for u)...But, if u got the money, WS_FTP!!!!!!!!!!!

Man!!!! i had the exact same problem but with a D-Link 524... it was hell!!!!!!!!!!! I prefered not to use it, i even gave it back.... the thing is, my brother in law bouht one along with me, and he trashed the box, and without it he couldn't give it back... So, because i'ma computer freak (jejeje) he left it over in my house.. who knew, maybe i could fix it after all..... Google is SO GREAT they even encorage the employes to develop new toolf and features...That's why they have so many services and sites!!!!!!They are in constant development, great by the way!!! (jeje )

imajin8shun, did u read my post (the one aboput XSAS)???... Anyway, you should transfer your file to the html (or www) folder, that way when you open an IE window (or firefoz, netscape, etc..) you put LOCALHOST/ and you'll be able to see your php files running I don't know how xampp works.. i would recommend XSAS either way!

Well, my personal favorite is XSAS... why, vey simple, it doesn't need to be installed, as a matter of fact, it doen't intall anything!!!!!!!! It's not to haevy for downloading... it includes the latest version of XOOPS, (you can erase it if you want) As any other server for the pc, it has compatibility issues with IPS.. ISP .. windows xp server, i don0t remeber the letters right now.... You can download it from http://xsas.sourceforge.net/ The great thing of not having to install it, is that an apache server won't be running unnecesarily (sorry, i don't know how to write this word, i'm a spanish speaker)... u don't have to waste memmory on it...

Mambo is an excelent CMS, and it has 8 ecommerce utilitiesso far (taht i know of) you can find them at http://domainwords.net/ Then one i can speak of is Mambo PhpShop... GREAT COMPONENT!!!!!!!! you can download it for free at http://www.mambo-phpshop.net/ There's a version taht come with the basic mambo cms, so u don't have to installthe two separate things.... i'm working on a store based on that system right now, it's in spanish, u can see it at: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Altought there is something where TheKnowledge and i disagree... i think if you're thinking... Hey dudes thanks a lot!!!!!!!I had to encode to wav first and then copnvert it to mp3 with another software.This tutorial you have just publish is xtremly useful because you can encode aa live broadcast, o a .rm stream, etc....Another useful thing, fro ex, with mpc files, you can download the winamp codec to read it and, with the MP3 output plug-in you can convert it, don't forget to delete the mpc files when done!!!!!!THANKS!

actually 50 moduls is not THAT much.... Xoops have over a 150 and is still a little number.... In cms pages, modules are almost everything, the theme, well that's something you can work on, you don't need to be an advance coder for it, but modules... wel.. that's anther story...... A great thing from xoops is that the update is a download that contains ONLY the files you need to update it, you don't have to download the WHOLE package again... saving downloading time, and HD space... and server andwith.. jeje And Xoops has launched a new version!!!!!! Give it a try!!!!!
