1. lol it only takes a second to understand frames. either insert a blank keyframe or a normal keyframe. each frame has something on it which could possible change into something else or stay static. many people don't use flash to make full blown animations with complex motion guides and layers and masks and stuff. i think you could probably make an animation with the help of tutorials on the net. I think there is a topic somewhere with links to flash tutorial sites. You will probably only want to or need to use the shape and motion tween properties. if you stick with it and follow the instructions you will be able to do what you want to... probably. There is a limit to what can be done by just using the visual properties which are on offer. if you stick with Flash then you will have to learn the scripting side (Action Script) of Flash, this is extremely powerful and will help you immensly if you want to do anything complicated or just simple games seen on sites like http://www.miniclip.com/games/en/ I don't know if you will find anyone on here that will make it for free, they may want something in return perhaps a link from your website to theirs or something like that. I would help but i am under a tonne of college work. anyways good luck. I hope you get what you need.
2. here are a few: http://www.good-tutorials.com/ - thousands of good tutorials to choose from << recommended http://www.voidix.com/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ This is a website with some amazing intermediate/advanced tutorials, if you are a beginner i do not recommend although he has explained as much as he possible can. This is a real master with Photoshop which has been said a heck of a lot of times: http://www.snecx.com/ tell him i sent you lol
3. When you make a selection you have to have the marquee tool selected to be able to move the selection. do no use the Move tool (V).Basically with the marquee tool selected click and drag the selection

But it takes more than 2 hours to download and after i reconnect i have to start the download over again. Can anyone point me to a site with the trial download that i can get. I would really appreciate it.Thankyou
5. You are extremely talented anime artist. How long did it take you to draw that? did you draw it in pencil and colour it in pencil or did you colour it digitally? The pose is great, a good choice. The colouring and shading are fantastic.Well done.Do you have anymore you could show us/me.
6. You could possibly do something on Website Ripping. There are many many views on this. One would be about the difference between Heavy Inspiration and Full On Ripping. I am sure you can find some stuff about it somewhere on the net. Good luck
7. DELPHI! DELPHI! DELPHI!For me it is Delphi based on the language Pascal. This was the first programming language i learnt. It is actually very similar (syntax wise) to PHP. It is one of the leading software pieces in the industry and is extremely powerful; it can create some powerful applications which can rival most professional and costly programs out there.
8. You can go to http://forums.xisto.com/cpanel to log in or; if you have a domain name like .UNI.CC or .TK then it would be http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ They should work the first one will work for you.
9. You could use a function but i don't think that you would have to. You can just put that in your php script/s, enter all of the tags you want to replace and what you want to replace them with in the array and they will all be converted. is there anything you need?
10. so instead of <B></B> you want it to be replaced with . you could use the str_replace() function. it goes like this: $message = $_POST['message'];//replace <b> with in the message field from the form.$message= str_replace("<b>","",$message);$message= str_replace("</b>","",$message); you can do that for every tag or you can do it using an array within the str_replace() function like this: str_replace(array('<b>','</b>','<i>','</i>'),array('','','',''),$message); i am not sure if this is what you want exactly, but there it is anyways.
11. I understand that you want hosting quickly but the way you are going about it is wrong, you simply wont get hosting (standard package) if your posts are too short or are unimformative. Maybe if you contact OpaQue and tell him your problems you can make a deal or something, do you have the mini (starter) package? if not you can request that.
12. "its meant to make apples".Did you mean Applets? or are they the same things?
13. All this involves is really a few layers and motion tweening. You can find very simple tutorials on the net possibly from FlashKit.com for motion tweening and other very helpful stuff. It would not take you - a beginner - long to figure out how to do it. Good Luck
14. but it will not stop people (most of them anyway) there are ways around it like using a different browser, or you could just save the page and view the html from the saved pages (right-click the document and click open with Notepad, or something like that). Sorry to say that.
15. What kind of menu do you want? Just a plain text menu would be like this: example: <a href="home.html">Home</a><a href="news.html">News</a><a href="downloads.html">Downloads</a> If you want a vertical menu you could just put a "<br />" after every "</a>" or alternativly you can use a table which would look like this: <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100" height="1"><tr><td><a href="home.html">Home</a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="news.html">News</a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="downloads.html">Downloads</a></td></tr></table> If you want an animated menu you could use Javascript as previously mentioned or you could mix that with DHTML (Dynamic HyperText Markup Language)
16. I have had a look at your posts and most of them are quite short, i believe they need to be 2 or 3 lines long to be able to get your post count up by one. Possibly some of your topics or posts may have been pointless and have been deleted thus making your post count lower but i am not sure about that.Try and give informative posts, if you do not know the answer do not post. The better and longer the information the your post count will increase.
17. To have a good website, a half-decent website you need to be good at graphics, some people have great creative minds and they can create extrordinary designs which they then create in a graphics program. They cannot truly fake great graphics (getting someone to create them for you or copying them from another site) if you don't make them yourself but you pass them off as though you have created them it does nothing for you. When it comes to programming, no one in our days ever really learn anything, they have the internet handy, thus they begin to take other pre-made scripts created and made available by creative and generous people and again pass them off as their own. If you wish to be good in either field you need practice and putting them together to create something great is sometimes difficult, but if people perserver most likely than not they will triumph in there creation.
18. I have been learning Java for college, and it is pretty interesting (for me anyways), although you do have to do quite a bit of code to print out just a little piece of text, i think. You also require - to view your java - a compiler ot some sort, javascript does not so it has a great advantage over Java in this way. Javascript is so much easier, but you cannot really compare them they both have completely different purposes. You can use Java in websites i think, but it can make the website so very slow.
19. or just add this to your body tag: oncontextmenu="return false"that will stop right-click in IE. It won't return a message but it does stop this. I have given this out before in another topic along with a couple more pieces for all those who still want to use it(i see no reason to). I have also stated that it will not work in Firefox(any version), it only works in IE.
20. You need to have a version of Macromedia Flash, Flash MX 2004 is the latest one if you are interested, you can get a free trial from http://www.adobe.com/. Any animation that is made in flash, whether it is actually an animation or just music, is created as a .swf file. i think you could find a tutorial on how to make it play the music by any means you require.
21. There is a link in your control panel located in the Site Management Tools section and it is called Leech Protect. From there you can select the directory of files which you want to be protected from leeches.
22. ahh ok i did not know that Dreamweaver doesn't remove the Name attribute, thanks for telling me, i rarely use Dreamweaver to do anything. oh and i already know XHTML :)
23. or if you have DreamWeaver you can just go to File | Convert and choose XHTML... I think
24. So what is your website address. I thought you wanted us to have a look and give you our comments. Cannot do that without a website address
25. I dont know if you have this already but you may use this, i am not sure that it will work as you want it to: <meta name="description" content="Overture Productions - A great place to find Freeware Programs, Tutorials, Web Design."> Also a website that is made mostly of graphics is not really a good idea, you will most likely drive visitors away as it may take ages for the graphics to load. Static text should be used, not images of text you want to show. You could try putting the images with text on as a background, get rid of the text in the image and then just type the text over it, this will atleast give viewers something to look at while the pages are loading.
