  1. I just found out that firefox isn't as secure as was thought :)Once in a while, my virusscanner finds virus's, trojans, and the like in one of my firefox cache folders....I dunno why :)A bit off topic...Anyway posted because I was gonna try those tweaks
  2. I think it's a service that blocks "bad" sites on your isp... You should use a proxy...You can configure to proxy all of your www transmitions by using a proxy and a port at http://aliveproxy.com/ NOTE: Greatly affects your speed. OR if you only come across it once in a while you can use a web based proxy. (Proxy's work like...Your Computer>Your Isp>Proxy Computer>Internet I'd suggest.... http://w3privacy.com/ (Fast, based in Germany) http://secure-tunnel.com/ (I used to use it before I found w3privacy...) I hope this was what you were asking, because I wrote all of that!
  3. If any of you still use a host like hotmail or yahoo...I'd suggest that you immedeatly switch to gmail...If you get spam in your normal inbox, you can select it and mark it as spam. Then, whenever email from the same domain comes to your mail it gets put into the spam folder...Really nice ability I'd say...Then you spam folder gets filled up...
  4. Congrats to both of yas!And Buffalo, now you just learned how to answer back if someone asks you if Xisto supports the PHP Mail command As an admin, something you must know!
  5. Heyas....I had thought that UO(Ultima Online) would be here....But its notAnyone else play it? I used to play but when my servers just went down I stopped because it takes a while to play...Just a question... I play on 3D but I hear that most play on 2D...Which ones do all of you play on? I know you have EasyUo on 2D but I die really easy on that version...And for people reading my post who haven't played UO i know it seems like rubbish
  6. Ya..Great game. :)I have the conquerors expansion--Even better! But sometimes I do get rather mad when people just make bomb towers and just seige once in a while Other then that...It's great, and really hard when you actually think about it. I just play for the fun of it though...So I lose sometimes
  7. Actually...Now that i think about it a bit more you wouldn't need a lot of bandwith at all. Just a fast server so people don't have to wait for your domain to redirect. For the registration...I'd suggest that you put all of the links into a database and with a small script have an autorefresher. So once in a while, you can look at new and old scripts while the thing is refreshing itself. If you see a bad site, then click on a link which will automatically delete that url ;)If you don't know PHP...Good luck!
  8. For Fun You wouldn't even need an Ip address. Just a webhost that supports unlimited subdomains. (Or you can do it like... domain.com/user_site) A domain and alot of bandwith too... The way I would do it... Use PHP, just because that's like the only code I know other then html... Have some html code that will put the variable of the domain name as the %100 frame. So if someone inputs the data--https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=BwkjVKfAD8uH8QfckIGgCQ&gws_rd=ssl Your script would put that value into your frame that covers the whole page, then create the subdomain google and put that code into google.domain.com, named index.html This wouldn't redirect... but would open https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=BwkjVKfAD8uH8QfckIGgCQ&gws_rd=ssl if you went to google.domain.com You could also: Just have a small html redirection script and as the index.html put that instead of the frame. It's actually pretty simple to do, except it would be hard to keep track of all of the domains and abuse.... For example: RoadRunner blocks .tk domains because there are a lot of them which just can't be kept track of (The content)...
  9. I live in Turkey so...On a LAN, where the speed changes...Well it's free so I shouldn't complain! They've been having some network problems so I don't think my speed is what it should be, anyway:Download: My Isp would say: 1105 Kbps Download At: 135 kB/sUpload : My Isp would say: 324 Kbps Upload At: 40 kB/sWhich is rather weird because I used a web-based German proxy and I downloaded a large file from myself at ~250kbps...Uploading and downloading at the same time...Ehh Maybe its just my connection...It doesn't really make a difference because all in all, it's fast when I use download manager
  10. I would suggest Battlefield 2 It's much like the battlefield series except the weapons are much funner and the graphics much better. The game was meant to be multiplayer, which you need a fast connection to play on.... You get to be either USMC,People's Liberation Army of China, MEC(Middle East Coalition). It's pretty good, each army has different weapons and you have rankings. Play more and you get better rankings, better rankings more chance to be commander and weapon unlocks. The only bad thing is that You need a fast computer to play, or else it wouldn't be too much fun... If you buy it, or have it...See you on the battelfield!! <<-Onishh
  11. Heyas! I saw a few people here looking for a good advertising site so they can put ads on their own sites. Well I have one... Paid-To-Promote. Heard of it? A major advantage is that they support e-gold and the like. They offer many types of banners and advertising, plus good rates too. Prices for each thousand... I'm not that sure...But I think that they count each hit from an IP on the same banner once every 5 minutes. Again...Not too sure... Page loads are pretty fast... http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (Free Webhost too) Anyway... If you try it, hope you like it! Link: http://paid-to-promote.com/indexe.php?id=XXXXX If you wish to promote me--Thanks much! Oh and..Make sure you obey the rules, which are pretty much common sence...It would be annoying to have your account deleted after you made up your balance cent by cent Notice from cmatcmextra: Removed referal link. No more referals please.
