I'm not a real fan, but sometimes I like to watch it on TV. My favorite is Ray Mysterio. It's pretty cool to watch, but the it's too fake and scripted. I watch it just for the action. Sometimes I wrestle with my friends, but within the limits of safety. I do say, it is pretty fun to suplex someone and then run for your life.

Earth (funny thing is, it takes place on Mars) 2160 is coming out in about a month. I'm fairly excited about it. The graphics look amazing, and the customizable units (you can choose what weapons, armor, propulsion they will have etc. ) and building systems (stack buildings like tower for one faction). I've never played previous Earth games, but this one looks awesome. Anyone else awaiting this game?

Does C&c Have An Upcoming Game... anything else?
ZeroHawk replied to plumpShticks's topic in Computer Gaming
Sadly. Westwood was one of the best game companies out their. Red Alert 3 is rumoured to be in production for DS, and Mark Skaggs of EA mentioned this in late 2004. Also, in a recent EA email survey, one of the questions was, "WHich Command and Conquer universe is your favorite?" So maybe EA is planning on a new C&C, if not already working on it. We'll see in time. -
How Long Have You Been Programming ?
ZeroHawk replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in Programming
Wow... I feel like a newbie. I only started programming a year and a half ago, and there was a half year period when I did no coding at all so it works out to be 1 year. I don't think I'm ready to move on to more advanced languages like C+. They look pretty complicated. Maybe in a year....Programming will always be a hobby to me. I'm not loooking at a job in computers (even though it is the future) seeing as I'm one of the smartest, if not the smartest kids in the school. I can go for a lot more. -
Need Help - Artificial Inteligence i want to learn more...

AI is very hard for me. Whenever I try making a game the AI sucks and I end up making it multiplyer only. From what I've done, search-style Ai seems the easiest. -
Wild Guess: They wanted AstraHost but made a typo so its Xisto and they decided to stick with it because it sounds better.

My favorite bands are Iron Maiden and MxPx. Iron Maiden have the best guitar and awesome intros. I like MxPx because they've got catchy songs and "feel good" lyrics unlike most other punk bands. And then there's Autopilot Off - another punk band with very catchy songs. I first heard of them in NHL 2004, then in Burnout, so it goes to show that having a song in a video game really can promote you.

I also prefer games wih a storyline and ending but you can still play them after youve beaten it and more importantly, it's still fun after you've beaten it. Ill give Freelancer a go.

Man Dies From Playing World Of Warcraft Gaming? Harmful?
ZeroHawk replied to half1405241509's topic in Science and Technology
In South Korea, the best gamers usually become millionares and get massive TV contracts. Gaming is HUGE in South Korea, good gamers (gosu) have sports star like status. Maybe he just wanted to become the best. Or, he lost his mind. If this were to happen (which it did) I'd expect it to happen in Korea. I don't know how someone could go 50 hours straight. Although these things do happen in everyday life, just not to that extent. My friend used to be obsessed with runescape. Once I called him to talk about a school project and he blabbed on about runescape for 10 mins. It got to the point where me and my friends logged on just to see if he was on. But you gotta take it as a game. Me and this kid at school had a duel in runescape. I owned him and tooked all of his stuff, and almost resold his own sheild to him for a higher price than normal. The next day, he wasn't mad and just said " Good job, someday I'll beat you". I was alive for 50 hours straight. Nothing happened to me... -
Major Website Mistakes Improve your site
ZeroHawk replied to BigmanB's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Not bad. I personally don't make those mistakes, even though I'm a newbie at html. Here are my tips:-Can't afford a .com, .net, .uk or whatever domain? Try .tk or .co.nr - their absolutely free.-If you use frames, I don't recommend making them re-sizable. Me and my friends find it annoying and unprofessional.-Keep it simple. At first, don't make your design over complicated. Don't use animations or bright and dazzling colors. Make your page focus on the content, not the design. -
I got it 2 days after it came out. I gotta say, it's a heck of a game. The graphics are pretty awesome (as with the other burnout games) and it has a graet rock/punk soundtrack. They also got rid of the DJ! I think it's a lot more fast paced than 3 because of traffic checking. The new Eliminater is also very fun. It gives you a sense of panic as you get eliminated every 30 seconds in revenge. The cars are much nicer, and now they have a whole bunch of crash exclusive cars like a beat up Charger and a camping van. The 1st half is fairly easy, but there are some early events that are quite challening. After you get to rank 5 (out of 10) the difficulty suddenly amps up. The way I'm going, it's gonna take me about 30-40 hours to get 100%. Online looks awesome, with a new "golf style" crash tour. I haven't been able to go onlin yet though. In crash mode, you can create much larger pileups with traffic checking, and can get multiple crash-breakers. However, the camera focuses on your car and not on the wreckage so you can't se the destruction very well. I recommend you get it, it's the best racer ever in my opinion. However, after getting used to traffic checking, I just can't play B3 now.

Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail Whos winning the battle?
ZeroHawk replied to jcguy's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I dunno who's winning, but where I live, pretty much everyone has hotmail. MSN is THE thing around here. I use hotmail, but I barely get any email at all so it's not that important to me. Gmail looks a lot better than hotmail to me, but I can't get one -
My ReviewRunescape is a great game at first. Its awesome for a free (ther's a paid version too) MMORPG. It's fun, there's a TON of armor and weapons, and about 15 or so skills such as smithing, mining, runecraft, archery, defense, etc. Yes , you can make your ouwn armor and weapons. The world is decent sized for the free version, but it quickly gets small. There's about 30 free quests. It also has decent player vs player, which takes place in the wilderness. The deeper you go, the higher level players can attack you and the harder the monsters are, but there are also great treasures. The graphics are mediocre. It's fully 3D, but the models are rather simply. The music is ok, and the sound effects are rather poor. At first, there seems a lot to do, and there is. I played it for a month, and after that, I got bored. It's not that fun at higher levels. My Rating: 70% (not an average)Graphics: 68%Gameplay: 95%Sound: 66%Presentation: 75%Replayability: 60%

I recently shaw a show on Discovery that talked about the possibility. I don't think it's a coincidence that mythologies of nations from all over the world (even ones that didn't interact with one another) all featured dragons. So did they exist long ago? Or where these myths referring to dinosaurs? It's an overlooked issuein my opinion. What do you think? I think these legends did refer to dinosaurs, its just that the dinosaurs were exaggerated a bit.

Free Image Hosting I think this goes in this forum
ZeroHawk replied to sirfrancisdrake's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I use photovillage. Very limited, but it suits my needs. Also, if you need to upload 1 or 2 images, go on pix05. You don't even need to give an email! Photobucket is the most popular host. I haven't used it, so far photovillage is ok for me. -
What Language Is Best For Game Programming? I need some help
ZeroHawk replied to bigd1's topic in Programming
I would say GML. It's fairly simple and designed with games in mind. Plus, the Game Maker is a fairly good program. I use it, and I''ve made some decent games. That's why i need a site. So ya, go GML! -
I've seen that one some time ago. Looks good, but its a little too big of a filesize for me. I like ADventure 2 Battle too, Chaos are just so cool. And it had a nice multiplayer.

I heard ther's a lot of hackers. Ther's this cool trick where there are boxes your height. You hide behind them and when someone comes by, you get an easy head shot. And then people think you hacked.

That pretty much sums it up. The best console game so far. The great thing about it is the AI and physics. Sometimes the AI is really smart(sneaks up on you) but other times its hilariously dumb. I mean, atank rides up in front of me, I start freaking out, and then, for no reason at all, it drives into a river and explodes. Now, I think I' gonna go play Mercenaries right now.

PS2, man! Free online! I don't trust Microsoft with the XboX, and there are too many incompatability issues with the PC. I only use my PC for strategy games. Busides, the new PS2 is so small. Its awesome!

Ya, I'd say its pretty ok. ATI is the best card maker in my opinion. But you can't get anything good for under 100 bucks. I'd recommend waiting until you get another 100, nless you're desperate. Then buy this one.
