You are right that in terms of ease of usage the computer has a certain disadvantage over the TV, but i would say that there are certain benefits associated with use of computer to watch the videos as well. The first one is that you can download any video you like and keep it with you to watch it again and again for as long as you like it. The tv users cannot do this and they have to rely on what the channels broadcast for them. Also the editing capabilities of the computer are very handy and one can change any video to his own likings and dislikings. Tv users do not have any such option available. I would prefer computer over the Tv because first, the computer is a multipurpose machine and has become a necessity and if the computer can also do the job of a tv then why keep two different machines instead of one single multipurpose machine.

Please don't mind but I expected the post to be related more to the topic. However you are not completely correct in saying that safe internet does not exists. First you need to know the types of threats that you face when you use a computer. 1) The threat that your computer might get infected with viruses, malware, spyware, keyloggers etc etc. 2) the threat that you identity might be hacked and misused. 3) the threat that your important passwords and credit card numbers etc might be hacked For the first type of threat, I think there are a lot of useful tools that actually work. So yes I agree that there in never hundred percent security but still things can be made very difficult for the viruses and spywares etc to infect your computer. The second type of threat is most easily protected. You can use fake identities or you can use proxy servers etc to hide and protect your identity from misused. The social networking sites like facebook hve high level of this type of risk. The third type of risk is a really big one. You need to be really careful about the status of the companies where you need to enter the credit card numbers etc. This requires real care.

Nowadays there are lots of facilities to backup your data. Even you can compress your data to a small size and then you can store it any where. The most suitable place i can think for backing up important data is you email address server. I will here mention the example of Gmail which have a facility where your email address can turn into a sort of webdisk and you can store your information there. Now you can trust google more than any other server in the world and the possibilities of loosing data will become very small. There are also many file sharing sites where you can upload you files. So if your file is not confidential and there is no problem if the data is seen or downloaded by others then this is also a great way to keep your data safe. In this way not only your data will be safe but also others might get benefit from it. I would like to mention the example of a driver. Some days ago I was looking for a driver for my Gen X Usb scanner. I was amazed to find that there is no driver for my hardware (or at least I could not find it). Then I bought a CD for my scanner's driver and then I uploaded the driver to a file sharing website. Now I hope that if anyone ever needed the driver, they can find an original, virus free, completely working version on the internet.

I had huge interest in computer programming and programming languages but I could not learn any of them because the field of which I am a professional student is not related in any way to computers and programming languages. I started to learn the GW Basic when I was about 13 and I learned quite easily. Then i was suggested by an elder who knew computers that I should now go for the visual basic. I bought the visual basic and a big book for learning it. I remember that I read 100 pages on the first day when I bought the book. I was doing good with it but then as things got complicated and I got more and more busy with my professional study, I failed to gain more knowledge and learn more languages. Now I only know GW basic (the major part, I have just forgot) and very little of visual basic. Nothing else. As I am hosting a website therefore I am planning to learn HTML in the future. I have researched about it and found lot of people saying that it is very easy and I may learn it even in a week.

I think that you are right. The rules must be changes because they do not speak of what actually happens here. There is no such happening of account termination on 14 days inactivation. It might be like to produce a fear factor that "oh look they got some really strict rules and you need to be very sincere while working with them". Otherwise the rule if implemented will be a very bad thing. The users here post to get mycents to host their websites. If the website does not need any money then why should a user post. It is completely logical in this way that if i do not need what I am writing for then why should I write regularly. Yes I will return back when I will need the money for my website hosted with Xisto. I have not heard about the Google's internet tv, but I by myself use the online streaming channels to watch television programs. Well my case is a bit different. I spammed (unknowingly) for about 1700 mycents in the very start of becoming a member of the Xisto community. I had written some articles and posted on a website but the website had deleted the articles. I posted the same articles (that were deleted from the website on which they were posted) on the Xisto forum and then Xisto gave me some 1700 Mycents. But as the articles were not removed from the google index (the importance of which I did not understand at that time), they were declared as copied content and as a result I got some -1700 mycents into my account. I wrote a lot of legal posts and earned a lot of mycents until my account reached to a positive value. I continued the hard work and I got additional 6 dollars from Xisto but then because of my exams I had to stop writing on the Xisto forum. After about 3 months when my exams were over I started writing again on Xisto. I wrote two posts and then I shut my computer down. When I checked my Mycents they were -778. I think you are a new comer to the field and have not gone through the phases of gaining experience. When first I was going to start my online earning program I had similar plans but then as the time passed I came to know that a multi million dollar company is way more intelligent than my brains and that all the possible ways I can think of cheating the ad companies are already been in protection phase. It is the same thing like you are trying to invent some ways to become rich and the companies are trying to stop the invention to make themself rich. So I advise you to leave thinking such plans and come to the real path of making money online which of course takes time but is simple and easy and guaranteed as well.

I agree with you. CPM ads have lots of restrictions that make them of least importance. But i wonder that if someone gets quallified for the cpm ads then are the normal cpc or cpa ads like that of the google adsense allowed on the site or not. If the ads are allowed then the CPM is a real bonus. The impressions tend to keep rather constant as compared to the click through rate so if you get money for the impressions you make then it is a real bonus because it will mean a rather constant income. Suppose the company gives you 1$ per 1000 impressions and you make 10000 impressions per day. This means you got regular 10$ a day in addition to the CPC ads revenue which in some days may exceed the CPM but is not constant at all. So if the speculations are correct than the CPM ads are a big big bonus to the webmasters who qualify for a CPM program

In my opinion digsby is better than pidgin but yes every body has his own choice. I have multiple email accounts that I want to connect to simultaneously and I want real time update of each account separately. Also i want my email to be completely separated my chat (the email accounts such as yahoo, gmail, facebook are also the IM accounts) but i want them to be treated separately. Also i want a software that do not tell others that i am online when I have only logged in to my email account. For all these I found digsby as the only solution. That is why I like it and i speak of it. There are many alternatives to digsby and I have tried many of them but none came upto my taste. So In my opinion digsby is the best for the time being.

I am not such an expert of these problems but I had a similar problem some time ago. I used to watch youtube videos but for some interval regularly the youtube will become unresponsive. I could not find a way to fix the problem. I reinstalled my browser but the same problem persisted. Then I thought there might be some problem with the youtube server but after some time I noticed that the problem was not limited to youtube but many other video sites as well. So it became certain that the problem was on my part. After much research and finding no answer to my problem i just decided to renew the operating system of my computer from the very base. When i installed the windows xp again on my pc after formating my hard drives, the problem was fixed. I never came to know what actually the problem was but the end result was that it was fixed by renewing the operating system from the very base.

Every one has its own choice. As i wrote in my previous post in this topic, some people will prefer security over speed while other will sacrifice some of the security for speed. So if you like AVG you should keep using it because all of the three famous free antivirus softwares are good enough to be used instead of the costly paid antivirus services

Windows xp is the best operating system I have ever used. Yes there were problems in driver installation with the non service pack versions but from service pack 2 and onwards almost all the driver problems have been solved. I have not even upgraded to the service pack 3 because I have no problem with the service pack 2 and it is doing very well. Another important thing about the windows xp is that it does not crash easily. I remember once my pc's operating system crashed with a blue screen with some values written on it and then the computer restarded. From that time I have no problem with the windows xp service pack 2

I tried pidgin but I did not like it at all. I am using digsby and believe me its just wonderful. You can connect to as many networks as you want. All of your accounts will be handled very smartly. The popup system is very nice and does not make it all just a menace. I suggest that disgsby is worth a try.

If you own the website you want to be removed from the google index then it is not much like a problem. You can use the removal facility provided at the google's webmaster tools. The problem is in removing your pages that are hosted on websites that you do not own. For example if you write for an online content site and all your articles are hosted on that site and you want them to be removed from the google index it is not going to be an easy task because you cannot use the simple Google's webmaster tools and simply delete the pages because you do not own the website on which your content is hosted. You are just a member of it and without the owner of the website the content is going no where and will remain indexed by the google. In this case all you can do is to request the owner of the website to remove the content from the google index for you and then only the owner can remove the pages from the index

I think internal linking is a very good strategy to get good position on the google but external link is also very important. For example if you get an external link with an anchor text similar to the title of your page from a website with a high page rank then your website is guaranteed to promote a big deal in search engine ranking. And the higher your website ranks in search engine results the more traffic you will get. For example suppose I have a website about "Earn money online" and I use facebook to get some extra traffice. I have 100 friends on facebook and I share the link to my website with them in a very smart way so that their possibility of going to my website and clicking the ads is very high. After all my 100 friends have visited my website there are going to be no more visits and the thing stops suddenly. That is why I do not use social sites as places to generate traffic.
