Well i imagine it's for security purposes. I mean don't you feel good knowing they DO have such stringent practices in place to make sure YOUR money is safe with them? I feel better knowing my account is being watched like a hawk. Prior to ebay buying them, I had an account that got hacked. He spent $300 of my money buying domains and hosting. And Paypal and the bank in which my account was attached to, both refused to do anything about it, and I would up owing the bank the $300.00. While they were dragging these blocks up the incline, was there any kind of breaking mechanism in place just in case the ropes or hooks broke loose? I think it would be kind of hard to get this thing in the air and onto the logs to begin with, but half way up the ramp, I don't believe there would have been a crane type device to put it back on the logs, or else they would have used that to move the block into place to begin with.

Work experience can sometimes, and most often is substituted for book knowledge or a degree.People of welfare are there for a reason. They don't want to work. If you do not want to work, you go on welfare, at least that's the way it is in most major cities in US.Although setting up those work centers is a great idea, they have done it, and some, only some people take advantage of it. I mean let's get real here. If you have been living on welfare for any length of time, you realize, that you can get, housing, food, clothing and insurance all on the taxpayers dime. What's the point of working, if you can get by, by not working.It comes down to morals and standards. If you really want to work, you get your butt up and go fill out an application. Simple as that.

I used to love photography, and I guess I still have an interest in it, but it does lose it's pinash after a while, just because I can't buy the latest and greatest cameras out there. But again, you should be able to take a great pic with a polaroid provided you know what you're doing.But I found an advantage to having ADD, I have a lot of hobbies. And they keep me busy. SO if I get bored with one, I just move onto the next, and so on, till eventually I come around full circle and start on that one hobby again.

I think you should try anyway. The main purpose of these contests is to yes find a winner, but the underlying purpose is to help each of us get better. The people who are currently involved int his seem to be of good character, and I am sure you will get constructive criticism. Which actually I am hoping to get. because there is no way to know if I am doing some techniques right or wrong without others input.

GNOME really needs to stop imitating other desktop managers. They did copy OSX in their latest release but it was good that they allowed the users to go back to the old system whenever they want. I hope from the next release onwards there is less copying and more innovation from them.

If you really want to boil your noggin then try getting to grips with some of the rest of the theory of Relativity. One common source of bafflement is something called the 'Twin's Paradox'.This is relevent to black holes because extreme gravity causes time dilation - ie different clocks go at different speeds depending on the gravity - and you age at a different rate. Essentially time goes at different rates in different gravity fields.
It also happens when you go very fast. The Global Positioning System has to account for both of these factors - the satellites are wizzing around pretty quick, that means they have a slower time than on the ground. But the gravity is much less up there which speeds their time up again. You have to calculate both effects, subtract one from the other, and then you can make the clocks tick at the correct speed. This is vital because they pulse information down to you at the speed of light (nearly) and by measuring the time, you work out the distance. Even a very small error (0.00001s) would mean you were way out when you calculate the distance, because light travels so quickly.

Yeah and ya know Stephen Hawking says that if you were able to travel at the near speed of light speed, you would be travelling into the future. The thought that if you could travel at that speed, leave earth and return in what you think is 25 years would actually be 100 years (or somewhere around there). I think that is cheating by saying you've traveled through time. I mean at that speed things slow down. So technically you are just not aging as fast as some who stayed on earth.

For instance, information that you find in a book is based upon test and trials that were performed under a controlled environment. But that does not apply to what happens in the real world. Ok, so here we have God, who is “Am”, and a jealous God. Why would God have a need to feel jealous. If he knows he is the Alpha and the Omega, the One True God, why would he ever have to tell us he was a jealous God?

I find doubt in myself at times. And honestly, I don?t like it. But I have figured a few things out about myself and where I want to go in life. I found out one very important thing, and that is that the world does not owe me anything. What do I mean by this? Well I feel like all that I do, is so that people will notice me, remember me, and go through life thinking, ?Wow, I want to be like him someday?. I think these are the same thoughts my dad had. I am always trying to be the center of attention, whether it is good or bad. And my children are starting to exhibit the same traits, and I do not want that for them. But there I go again, thinking about me. But how do I determine what is the proper way to raise my kids without pushing myself on them? I get mad about people not respecting me. Why? Why does it matter if the respect you or not? I mean do they have to? No. Should they? Yes, but that doesn?t mean they will. Do unto others, as you would have done to you. I think about having a world where I have music playing all the time, I can go to work when I want, and come home to a clean house with a wife and children that respect me for my hard work, and just because I am who I am. But that is not the way life works. As a matter of fact, it works against all that you strive to want. I think that it has a purpose for doing that though. Yes most definitely things are lost in translation. I tell ya, I use an app called e-sword. It's a really great free bible study app, and it has many, many free translations that go along with it. Along with many free study guides, graphics, maps, etc. You should check it out. And I use that app too sometimes get the original greek or hebrew word and compare versions next to each other. it's a great tool!

Read correctly, i didn't mention that Apple invented it. I just said it as a "general" way like its just starting. And they didn't "steal" it, there hasn't been just usable touch screen platforms like iPhone and iTouch and iPad ever before. If ANYBODY else made such a great device, im sure they would have stolen the spotlight, for example Google or Microsoft. And its not always about the marketing, its more about the word of mouth with these kinds of things and those sleek looks.

I have even used the first Palm Pilot which was made in 1996 and all the way upto the iPhone 4 releases last month, so i know what I'm talking about.. most of the time.
