What Day Is The First Day Of The Week? What do you think?
songlikeecho replied to Dooga's topic in General Discussion
My vote goes to Sunday. Why would anyone want the first day of their week to be the one where they are plunged back into work or school? I certainly don't. I like the feeling of Sunday - relaxing and a time when you can prepare everything that must be done that week. Plus, isn't Saturday night like a farewell celebration to the week you just went through? Meh.. now I'm just rambling. -
Hmm, probably South Park, but I would have to say anything.

I like non-team sports. Dance has been my life long love, and I have recently gotten into working out like mad. Today I actually had to take a break because my legs are so sore they can barely carry me up the stairs. I like it though.

I am afraid of losing the ones I love, for whatever reason. I am so happy I know that I don't take the people in my life for granted, that I truly cherish every moment spent with them, good or bad. Other than that, of course there are the usual fears. I like to try to face them though, if given the chance. That has to be one of the best natural highs.

I absolutely cannot choose betweens cats and dogs. I love cats, especially when they come up purring loud as ever, and lay down in my lap. Plus. I have the best cats ever. I don't care what you say. At the same time, dogs are awesome. They are playful and loving. Oy, the decisions life brings us.

Saw this post so I thought I write about my own study abroad. I am currently choosing between England and Sweden. Which would you choose and why? I'm leaning towards England because it is easier to get to other countries from there (I am planning on doing some backpacking after the semester is over). I need to make the decision somewhat soon, and advice would be helpful.

This is something I have tossed around in my head time and time again. First I think, "ew, how ugly for older people to have tattoos, even if they are the only ones who will be seeing them!" But then I remind myself that I want one. If I ever got one, I would want it to be on the inside of my foot, but I have researched it and it doesn't seem like a very good spot for a tattoo. People have said that you need to get it touched up every few years (since you use your feet so much) and that it is a very painful spot. I don't mind needles, but I can see how this will be uncomfortable. I probably won't get one, so for now I'm just stuck stairing longingly at the people who are braver (and possibly stupider) than me. Oy.

Thanks BuffaloHELP. I am still pretty torn. I must say, the sleek design really draws me in. I have been checking reviews on Amazon and such, and as of right now, I will probably get one. Also, on Amazon you are able to get it for about $140 (ten dollars off the usual price!) with free shipping. Anyone who owns isight have something to add? Any input is appreciated.

What're You Listening To Now? Whats playin?
songlikeecho replied to PLAYWITHGUNS's topic in General Discussion
Hot Hot Heat. This band is my current obsession. If you aren't listening to them, you are seriously missing out. -
Donnie Darko - I love this movie. No idea why. Perhaps because of Jake Gylenhal? Oy! Now I need to go watch it. Seriously though, it's great, with or without the brown haired beauty. Garden State - Again, I do not know why. I fell in love with it 5 minutes in. Practical Magic - Random, but I've loved it ever since it came out. I love both Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. Also, I love the whole New Englandy feel.

I have an Apple Powerbook, and I absolutely love it. The greatest part is that you can take it with you anywhere. I don't usually have the fan problem like motionsickness mentioned, although it does occasionally occur. Also, sometimes Safari closes if I have a zillion windows open. I would highly suggest a laptop!

The Perfect Girl/boy? Does it really exist?
songlikeecho replied to sonorama's topic in Dating And Relationships
I recently found a quote which seems appropriate for this topic: "We're only perfect when we lie."I think this is absolutely true. While a person may find someone who is perfect for them, there are still qualities you have to over look. That is key to a successful relationship. -
