My New Website www.laschatz.co.nr

Recommended Posts

I've setup a new website in my Xisto hosting account.

la Schatz

Please kindly view it and give me feedbacks on it.

This site is base on the template developed by Andreas. I've made some modificationsa nd added some new features to it.

still some of the sections are yet to be added, you can find contents in Exclusive Section and the links in right nav bar are active. Please try them and give your valuable advice how I can improve my site more.

I like the design. The banner is realy nice and the navigation is cool. Everything seems to fit until I scroll down to see a big blank spot under the content area. The content area itself is nice and I like the scrolling effect and the stop on mouseover is a nice touch. Everything looks nice other then that one spot of blankness. Hopefully you are putting something there.

The design looks great, well thought out and simple to get around and see what you want, yet still interesting. The little 'New' icon you have in the scrolling box doesn't fit with this design and looks a little out of place, so perhaps you could design or find something more fitting.By the way, your Valid XHTML link takes you to a nice page advertising the 134 errors on your site <_< This also then means that it won't even bother trying to validate the CSS with invalid XHTML. You might wanna fix that...

Hate to restate what everyone else said, but it really is a nice design. The only problem I have is the scrolling text. Even though you can stop it, it's going a little fast and that kind of movement is distracting. I think since you have so much room for that section, you could just put the newest things there and have a link to a larger list if it's needed.

Indeed, nice design, but 2 things I have to mention:- you ought to get rid of that 15 or so pixel white border around the main elements, there should prefereably be no such border, or a very very thin one (1 or 2 pixels max). Having the navigation hover on the background like that is kinda odd looking. Try it and see for yourself, no border wil work better.- you ought to get a decent logotype, the la Schatz above the navigation with that drop shadow looks kinda rushed and out of place. To me it looks like it is theer because you had to put something there not because it complements the rest of the design. Other than that, nice job, certainly looks interesting. Idefinetly like the 2 tier navigation, well done on that.
