I also had a kind of strange feature, Windows Update saying "download pending" during several days, then "installation pending", now the update was successful, so I don't care. M6NEN 2 Report post Posted July 11, 2019 Oh dear, are Microsoft making themselves look interesting again? I must say, that is a new one to me, I hadn't come across that one yet. (Or at least not as far as I had noticed). Anyway, stil waiting for the bugs beginning to show.

yordan 10 Report post Posted October 17, 2019 Concerning the fact being optimistic, I just had the same problem on another Windows computer, the ctf engine seems to die during boot. Not important, of course, needed only when default Microsoft things (like Microsoft edge beeing started by an app, or if I need the search bar, or inside the HP support Assistant tool). M6NEN 2 Report post Posted October 17, 2019 Hmmmmmm, again? I must admit I had missed that one. They will never learn in that company, will they? I am just wondering how much misery (and how long for) their next update will bring.

I guess it's related to some non-qwerty keyboards, and when I googled a little bit I found people who tried the recommended solutions which lead to a system unable to boot.... So I continue simply with my "wait and see" attitude.
