Saddam Is Finally Executed

Recommended Posts

By 11p Eastern Time, Saddam Hussein has been executed by hanging. This execution was ruled by the government of Iraq. No video was shown on live television but just reports of it. However, reporters say there are videos and pictures taken before, during and after the execution. It was breaking news in CNN at Larry King Live.
Obviously these videos taken at the execution of Saddam Hussein will be published in most video blogs. To me it's a clip that's worth checking out. I'm in favor for the hanging because of all the killing and genocide he's done, he deserved it. What I fear though is the evil plots of those who are against it and what they have in mind to avenge his death. I hope that the rebels die down so that Iraq will finally have a better society but who knows if that may even happen.

What are your thoughts in this?

Saddam's brother was also exicuted on Monday, January 14, 2007

I think the whole thing has been done badly. How many judges have been changed in the case? Like what all the other things that is happening in Iraq, the execution of Saddam is done in the wrong way. To me, his execution is more of like revenge than justice. If the USA do not get the situation in Iraq and the Middle East under control, a few years from now, Saddam could be the figurehead for resistance movements. He could be the leader who got assassinated for standing up against imperial forces, as other leaders in the past have died from colonial forces controlled courts. His death may not be the last that we have heard of Saddam....

Umm didn't his own people want him dead.......So, who the hell cares how it happened, the end result is that he is dead, whether it was hung, shot or had his limbs cut off.

Re:Saddam Is Finally ExecutedSaddam Is Finally Executed

President Bush wasn't looking for a payday loan, But someone was sure willing to loan out their shoes! His last Visit to Iraq was a quick surprise one.  Bush Held a press conference with a member of the IraqI government, And there was a protest made. An IraqI journalist decided that He was none too happy with Bush's performance, and set himself On making a statement of protest by throwing his shoes at the President. In America, we'd think a person was nuts for doing this, but in Muslim Culture, throwing your shoes at a person is the greatest of Insults. The name of the journalist is Muntadhar al-Zeidi, and As he hurled his foot wear he said "This is your farewell kiss, you Dog!" The statue of Saddam that was toppled a few years ago had numerous shoes Thrown at it, if this could give you an inkling of how serious they take the Insult. Bush dodged both loafers, and laughed it off as a "sign of a free society," like financial options like payday Loans are. The man was promptly subdued and jailed. Many people across The Muslim world praised the man for his actions, as President Bush's image is not a very popular one in the Middle East. The shoes Are currently being held as evidence, and the man awaits trial as he could Receive up to two years for the offence
