Quatrux 4 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 Yes, I always use shift delete, that is quite easy, but other given tips are quite good, I think I know one thing I can do
szupie 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2005 Yeah, I learned shift-delete a while ago, when I tried using Linux. I found that pressing delete doesn't do what it does in Windows (I forgot what Linux actually does when delete is pressed). So I right clicked and found that the short-cut was Shift-Delete. Jeigh1405241495 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2005 Yea I would prefer to just use shift delete as 9 times outta 10 I prefer to shift delete, but once in awhile I like to delete something and just have it sit and wait in the recycle bin for a bit until I'm sure, so it's easier having both options readily available with just a keystroke difference. The Recycle Bin was actually one of my fave new features when Win95 came out simply because I'm one of those silly people who'll delete something and, ten minutes later, think "NO! I still needed that!" (Usually what happens is, I delete what I THINK is an older draft of my writing, only to browse around and find that, nope, it's the newer version.) But I've cured myself of that for the most part. *grins* and I've learned how to back up my stuff religiously.
