Mine is pretty good at the moment.

Using http://www.dslreports.com/ , from Western Asia:

2005-07-13 15:36:50 EST: 1186 / 97
Your download speed : 1215430 bps, or 1186 kbps.
A 148.3 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 99477 bps, or 97 kbps.

My nominal is 1500kbs download, 98 upload, and this is the worst time of day where I am.

Well, poor me ... I don't have an internet connection at all! But believe it or not, I'm still the fastest! :) No no no ... I have 6000 downstream and 600 upstream since some weeks (600 kbs down/58kbs up), and I find this really fast. But is anyone really interested in what speed we have? Maybe a more interesting question would be how to INCREASE speed. (Registry settings, MTU settings and so on)GreetingZ

Nope, Infamousflame, 56k connections share the same bandwidth, eg. you have 7kb/sec max. So you can either upload or download with 7kb/sec max, but if you download and upload at the same time, it will be shared. For me 4096/640.... weird huh? 640, it's not a result of 2^x, like 128, 256 or 512 ....

Good question how would one go about manually editing ones system to better take advantage of ones available bandwidth. Anyone know of a Thread here that I could look at as to how to do this. I'm running Win XP Home SP2 if that will help.

Obviously this doesnt look right since my downstream is slower than my upstream? Not sure why I'm getting these results, but could possibly be my router or its built in firewall.
