What Car Are You Driving?

Recommended Posts

I like to drive power steering car like fortuner, TATA indica. I don't like esteem because it's not a power steering car. I don't have car. But I have driven my friends car. I also like Innova car. So in near future I will be looking for Innova car.

That sentence just makes me laugh! I hope you find your Innova CAR though! :D I don't really know what those cars are but they seem like big vans that you drove... the only time i have ever driven is in Chuck-e-Cheese, so i shouldn't be complaining i guess

I am driving a Ford Explorer 4 door POS. The thing barely gets 10 miles to the gallon, no air conditioning (and it sucks, I live in Houston and drive an hour to AND from work), the heat only works in the back of the truck, so on the days it does get cold down here, I'm freezing. My next car, I want a Chrysler Crossfire. I love that care. Reminds me of my dad's Daustun 280Z, now THAT was a car....

Nik,The last of the Esteems did have power steering, but the vacuum-assisted brakes are harder to use when it rains. The Esteem has earned its spot in Indian motor history, as has the Maruti 800. In the smaller compact cars, you don't really need power steering. The Swift DZire, which is the replacement model of the Esteem (the Esteem isn't being manufactured any more), is based on the Swift platform but is a sedan, unlike the Swift. The Indicas were quite popular with transport firms that provided services to call centers and software firms, but they seem to prefer the Innovas now since they can transport more people. For a while, most radio taxis were Mahindra Logans, but Renault and Mahindra have parted ways, leaving Mahindra to continue with the Logan on its own, and future models from Mahindra would be without the Renault collaboration.BTW, the Ambassador seems to have a lot in common with the old Porsche, and remotely resembles a Volkswagen Beetle. They have been around for almost forever without any real changes to the design, just as the Volkswagen Beetle Classic (not the newer one) and the Model T-Ford have, though the Model T-Ford was available in just one color - Black!

Life is full of changes - at least sometimes. At this stage of my life, there is not a single car that is dedicated to me. I only drive occasionally. When I do, it is a car that's dedicated to someone else. So, the answer is I am driving no car. That said. Let me tell you about my first car. It was a Ford Escort hatchback, 1.9 liters, with standard transmission. It had its fuel pump in the gas tank. The pump quit working after about 100k kilometers while the car was in use. I had no idea what the problem was. It just quit on the road and the engine would not re-start no matter what. I was desparate. It was then towed to a repair shop. The pump was not easily accessible by the mechanics. It costed me quite some amount of money to get it fixed. I later heard that its siblings also stopped running at around 100k kilometers for the same reason. Ouch!

Tata NANO :D

I have heard so much about the Nano. You've got to share your driving experience with them. They look a lot like the Maruti Zen Estilos on the front, but the rear is distinctive with the grille for cooling the rear-mounted engine. Do share!

@k_nitn_rI Changed my car from the previous post , the Vauxhall Astra is beeing driven these days by my brother. I got a Opel Astra G 1.6 16V 101 CP , stock , 16' rims. Since you asked me about any problems with it , with the last one I had two major ones but both got fixed with a small investement. First time there was a problem with the engine ECU , a new one costs about 1100Euros if ordered from Germany. Luckily I found a cheaper solution on the internet. I stumbled across a website of some guy who reconditions auto parts , especially opel parts. This was perfect since the ECU was made by Opel .. and through this method I just spent 90 Euros to repair the ECU.With the curent Opel I haven't had any problems so far after 6000 KM. (The car has about 110.000 I think and it's a 2002 Coupe).Probabily the KM are not real but the car sure acts and looks like a new one. Hope things will just keep staying like this and no serious problems will apear in the future. From what I've seen on the internet Opel maintanance shouldn't be that expensive , but when you start looking at actual prices of body parts you find out that nothing is as cheap as most people say!
