I Got Warning!? I got a warning of 10%.How can i reduce it to 0%?

I got a waring of 10% at Xisto's forum .How can i reduce it to 0%?Anyone who can help me ? Is there have any disadvantage for me or for my website at Xisto?Thanks a lot!

I do not know why you got it, but it should go away after a little while if you post good quality topics and replies and don't break the Xisto TOS. Remember to be a good member of the community and nothing bad should happen.

good quality topics ? What does this mean?Did you have some infomation about this?Such as evaluate standard , or link about it.......

Well one line posts are generally considered spam, which is frowned upon. A good quality topic or post would be more than just stating your opinion - it is stating it and explaining yourself. For example, don't just say "I like Facebook more than Myspace," say something like "I like Facebook more than Myspace because it has a cleaner layout, less advertisements, more features, and a better community." Of course you would go further in depth, but that is just an example. A good phrase to describe how you should post is "quality, not quantity." It is better to take more time explaining yourself or asking questions than to just get as many posts as possible. You will also earn a lot more myCENTs that way, which is what we all want

The general trend is that a newbie to get quick mycents jumps to topics and replies as he did in other forums, like saying thnx, welcome, again please, etc. etc. This has happened with not one but maybe almost all. Moderators are having tough time to hunt these situation and many a times warn someone who actually should not be warned. Then comes the question is there a standard of warning a member for its post? The answer is simple , every moderator is an individual and in his own eyes the world may be different, so one moderator may excuse you but anothr may even ban you for a similar mistake/ offence. And there is always the mood swing condition where the same moderator excuses one but penalizes another for a similar act.

My viewpoint is, forget that you are even warned but go through the readme of dos and donts immediately and find exactly why you got the warning for. Then just do your business here to post some good and informative posts.

And one thing about starting a post/thread. Think not twice but ten times before choosing a title and subforum and then have some good content in your first post. Simple one or two liner may even get you a lifetime ban with some moderators. Some moderators fight with someone and penalize another. I am no exception.

Also a post which has not been answered for a long period say two months is an old post , be very careful, because some moderators will issue warning for replying old posts according to them which are no longer useful. Say for example if you know something about a Pentium II or III and there is a post you can add your view, you may end up in trouble, because the moderators are working with super computers and a P II is a junk.

And always be polite to the members and moderators in perticular. There is no reason you should not be polite to all when you are here to post something very useful if not a geneus idea.

And about 90% of members are here to get a free domain or site for themselves. And when you know that Xisto is paying for you why not atlest repay by being generous and polite in your actions and words.

There is knowledge everywhere all you need to do is put the knowledge in the Xisto forum under appropriate subforum and topics and viola you get rewarded - myCents.

I wish every newbie reads the readme on top of the shoutbox and enlighten himself before asking anything.

Actually the count of myCents depends on your post. Like how big it is, how much it related to topic etc..but no one knows the exact count of myCents per post. As a general guide line you can follow this, Bigger posts will earn more myCents than smaller posts. And remember , NO SPAM.....spam includes cutting and pasting, posting unrelated matter to the topic, Advertising and referrals etc...

 

And YES for you second question. If a moderator detects your posts have spam, he will edit the content of your post or deletes your posts, which means your myCents will be reduced in the next myCent update.

 

Always remember to add QUOTE tags if you want to copy material from somewhere else. And if you post some programming code, put it in between CODE tags...And try to give your own thought and opinion about some topic and avoid copying and pasting as much as possible......All the best......

My dear friend never spam out here. Otherwise you will get warnings. Always try to post on a relevant topic and be aware of your words. Always try to post good quality posts only.?

 

Don't ever use bad and abusive words.

Your contents should not be based on sexually explicit matters.

You should not promote illegal matters out here.?

You should not promote or advertise illegal sites or sites with illegal materials like porn sites etc.?

So be careful dear.
