Living Without Computer Today - Is It Possible?, How much time eats your computer? ;)

Recommended Posts

Theoretically it is possible to live without computers but practically.....never!Even if you're not a computer addict and do not have a computer at home, chances are that you may have to run into a computer pretty soon to get some work done. Even if you don't have to operate it yourself, you still have to depend on it to get the work done! Now howz that?So no matter what people argue about the ill-effects of computers, they still have to live with them till this Earth stands.

Yes that is certainly true. It is virtually impossible to claim you are not having any contact with computers in your every day life. If we only talk about "direct contact" though it is possible to rid ourselves of them if we really want too. But I don't really the point of that, I think there are many other things we should get rid of, with better reasons, before putting our computers aside.

Hello there. My family members keeps annoyingt me becouse of sitting by computer so much. They don't care, what am I doing: programming, reading news, posting in forums or reading emails - they allways think that I'm just having fun, and it's no use from computer LoL
So I decided to ask, how much time a day do all of YOU spend sitting by computer? Just trying to find out: 6-8 hours per day is normal, or I can call myself computer maniac already...

computers have become a part of life in the todays world.
its hard to imagine of a day without a computer.
computers have many advantages also equally they have disadvantages.
it all depends on viewers view point.
some people use the computer just for playing and having fun
some people use it for performing their day-to-day activities
and some for earning and i am 1 among them.

so for me thinking of a day without a computer is allmost impossible

hahaha my family is the exact same way! at first (and they still do) would say stop talking to your friends on messenger all day!! but i mean come on, i graphic design, most of the times most of my instant messenger services are offline.. and for the regular i am on my computer at least 4 hours a day or so.. sometimes ALL DAY, but ofcourse im listening to music and doing some worth while stuff..its not like im on the inet watching porns, or trying to get laid, like most people are, which is the only side of the internet that gets portrayed on the media for the sad part..but i think that as time passes by it will become more and more normal.. specially on our kids generation, 10-20 years from now, since eveyrthing is now done digicly.. you can even order a pizza through the internet!! if i think its a good thing, in a way i do, in a way i dont, people will become less sociable, IN PERSON, due to technology we will have more and more cases of people who you talk to online and they seem to be charming, meet them in person and cant even spit out a word without freaking out, neverless carry an actual eloquent conversation..technology should be used to inprove our lives, find cures of cancer, global warming fixing, etc etc,
