masugidsk8r 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 To Christians, we believe that God has a purpose for us and we all have gifts and talents to help minister to people. I think that one of my ministries is something to do with computers. Since I am a "tech wiz" and all, why not use it to His Will. The thing about this is I have no idea what to do with my skills and utilize them for God. I know there are fellow brothers and sisters here in this forum, so could you guys help me please? BuffaloHelp 24 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 It seems like recent pop culture fads have been catching up with the what stereo-typed view of the "holy" world--where nothing ever changes and traditions are very important, keeping the ye old ways.GodTube, what seemed to be the exact duplicate of YouTube (no doubt ), was in the news the other day. Anticipating to launch sometime in May GodTube provides various uploaded sermons by local ministers, parody of PC vs Mac commercial with biblical theme and other godly messages.I'm kicking myself I should have thought of that domain name! But if you concentrate and seek what is that you were "meant" to do, it will come to you. Inspiration comes from the above and you'll get yours when it's your time to shine. Take a look at the human rights situation in China, with their internet censorship and all. You could help them develop a network connection that would somehow override the current Chinese government's imposing. Now of course that'd be insanely difficult as it is the government you're going against, but all the same, it's still good for the common person. You could also develop cheaper computers so that they can be sold in underdeveloped nations so that they can use them to their advantage. (I'm thinking back to that one child per computer program. That was quite useful, but perhaps you could build on that somehow)
hitmanblood 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Hmm I really don't catch what are you explaining and what do you intend to do however, I would be willing to help. I don't believe in the church as an organization however I have explained and understood god on my own way, I don't want to seem like some some anti religious person or against Christian Church it is just that as I am more believe in what you see and feel and you are able to prove so I had to find way to explain the god to myself. Also I am really interested what do you have in mind because there is hall bunch of portals concerning god himself and religion and so on. I am really enthusiastic about this yours new hopefully creative and helpful idea.
masugidsk8r 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Well right now I'm really interested in Information Technology, and I think that's going to be the area I will study in college. I would like to pursue a career in that area as well. So with the education and experience I got from IT, I wonder how I can use that to help the Universal Church. It doesn't have to be a big contribution to the community, it can be as small as a ministry within my church only. I want to contribute this gift to my church group, for example maybe during services? events, maybe even a church website, something like that is suffice. iGuest 3 Report post Posted September 28, 2009 RevelationOnline Ministry One of the things that bothered me about the bible was a logic that seemed hidden. I would read a small part of it over and over and pray to God refusing to go on until he revealed some logic about what I read. Sometimes it took a while but eventually I would see the logic. Soon, I was kind of afraid of what I was getting into because things were getting heavy. If someone has any revelations to share, the computer would be a great place to blog these. For example, I saw the phrase abombination of desolation and the words "a-bomb in nation" popped out at me. Of course this referred to the end times. The Jerusalem state coming into being in 1947 and the Atomic bomb into being at the same time is easy to invision being kept there for Isreal's protection. Now there's an abomintion of desolation if there ever was one. The a-bomb could be detonated and the most relegious place on earth would be dirty to every person for many years to come. The first page of Genesis was a long pause. I prayed hard about this garden of Eden. Then it came to me as a tree picture. A tree is what books are printed out of. The bible is a book and it is a most important book. To me it was a garden of eden. At the center was a tree of life. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There was also the tree of conscience, from which Adam ate. Now if the tree of conscience is the old testament and the tree of life is the new testament, then we've eaten from both of those trees when we've read the entire bible. Now we are like God in a sense that we are going to live forever, through Christ.-reply by Les McDonald
