linekill 1 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 I haven't read this book but I watched the movie and it's sad. The movie isn't catchy, it's boring and easy. I'm not sure about the book, though. If we base on hollywood's track record of books-to-movie, the book should be 3times better.
joeblogg 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2010 I really enjoyed "The Saga of Darren Shan" series so I was really looking forward to watching the movie. It was released on the 23rd October 2009 in the USA and it arrived in Australia on the 11th March 2010 (just under 5 months later) and by then I had totally forgotten about when the movie was to arrive in Australia and unfortunately I missed it (it was only in cinemas for 2 weeks which I found odd). Also, I saw numerous advertisements about the movie but as it got closer to the release date the advertisements seemed to stop which also took away from the awareness of the movie. iGuest 3 Report post Posted March 27, 2011 Movie ruins BookCirque Du Freak
Ive read the entire series.. Its a great series.. Awesome ending. But the movie they're making is ridiculous.. Where's the little people's masks? Why does Debbie have a tail? and Mr Crepsly shouldnt be played by a comedian. So I suggest that you don't watch the movie because it does NOT follow the book in descriptions.
-reply by Patrick i love both the series and the movie and i dont want to be rude but i have to disagree with you. most movies dont really have to follow the exact thing that happened in the book and if they do follow cirque du freak then it would have too much going on.
