squeaky 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2006 I was wondering if you could change and example link, http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/index.php?n=pages/videos into something like http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or something easier for visitors to find the page. I'm looking at URL rewriting, but I am unsure if this can solve me problem. It can be seen at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I'm not sure if the URL rewriting is the same, because, when it has ?n= it usually means something like it takes the index page's templete and uses it for the pages that can be added. Is there any way to work around this? I'm using theJCM Content Manager by the way. Another thing is that http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ works, but it doesn't have the template stuff around it, that I would like.P.SMSN or AIM messaging is requested, thanks. michaelper22 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2006 I know for sure that WordPress and Mambo and Joomla support SEF links, WordPress has it built right in and Mambo/Joomla have free extensions to do it. If you're CMS doesn't support somekind of real SEF links, you could do all the re-writing in your .htaccess files, but that would be tedious and just a waste of time.
