Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 well in order to get a ad free ipb forum you need to purchase it at invisionpower board, They cost $180 to purchase the current version which is 2.1.6 or you can purchase the the $70 board version which is 1.3.This site provides web hosting not purchasing forums, you can have your forum hosted on here with no ads that we can do. michaelper22 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 If I understand you correctly, you need to post in this forum to get hosting credits, then sign up for hosting, and continue to post for credits to keep your site up.Once you have hosting, you can install a forum (SMF, phpBB or vBulletin or IPB if you payed for it) on your web space. I would recommend SMF, but people like phpBB too. You can install either of these forum packages with a few clicks using Fantastico (come back when you have hoosting and I'll explain this to you, or PM me now).
