anarchyboard88 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2005 I made a site for my band 2 Days From Yesterday. I made the site completely from scratch and i need some reviews. i just opened it publicly and am looking for people to join. Plz register, as i will be updating and adding more private pages like downloading pages and whatnot. Plz review and critisize, but read some of the topics first so i dont hear repeats of "why doesnt this work, or why do i need to login". its in the forums, thats where i explained the probs.. thnx.http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

fffanatics 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2005 Visually it looks fine. I would fix the background using photoshop so you cant tell it is tiled because u can see the seams. Also, i like the white text but not the red. The red just looks out of place. Content wise, it doesnt look like there really is any content so my advice would be to add that before doing anything else. Also, i would but more information about the band on the main screen since without really looking i had no clue what your site was about and a viewer should be able to see that within the first few seconds of viewing the page.Overall, looks good and original but still needs a few upgrades

Angel 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 My suggestion is not to go with a black layout unless you can make an awesome layout. Black layouts don't usually look that good unless it's very impressive. Also, change the font color to light gray or something...the white on black starts hurting the eyes after a while. And, don't center all your text. Good start though.
