Yipster 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2005 1. Lord of the Rings - The Two TowersThe epic battle scene was too crazy. It was a classic example of defense and attack. One side only needed to defend and the other attack. The orcs were so realistic and .... well, its too hard for me to describe in words. It was dramatized even more with the hard falling rain. I like the Riders of Rohan theme song as well. It was so well orchestrated that I used it as my listening music while I run. Though it kinda wore off cuz' my friends were like "WTH YOU LISTENING TOO?" Its action packed, fantasy filled, and has a love story. The love story, however, could be developed a little more.I couldn't think of anything that could be in my next two slots. I've seen plenty of movies, some good or some bad. But none of them did what LOTR did for me. So its better not to put anything. But I will list some mentionables:- Everything in the LOTR series- Whole Star Wars series- Remember the Titans - football move- Littly Nicky - yes I know I have sick humour- Titanic - only chick flick I like- Rocky 1 and - everything after 1 and 2 sucked- Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - oldy, but goody- The Great Escape - oldy, but goody- Planet of the Apes(the original one) - crazy Sci-FiI could put a lot more, but I don't want people accusing me for trying to get credits. pensive-muse 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2005 The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Breathtaking. They really captured the books in a special way, even though some parts were left out. The special effects, in my opinion, were nearly flawless. The acting was, for the most part, extremely convincing. It was just such a good movie on so many levels.Fight Club - I don't know what it is about this movie, but I really like it. The acting was pretty good, and the story is just interesting. I guess that's what I really like about it...the fact that it's interesting. Not too action packed, and not boring, just a happy medium that still manages to hold your attention.Anything Monty Python - I am a sucker for Monty Python. I think it's because their senses of humor appeal well to mine. Everything is just so random and strange, but that's how my sense of humor works. I reccomend this to anyone who likes randomness, or won't try to break it down and make sense of it.

ArcaneSpirit 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2005 What are three of my favorite movies and whay? Well, I could probably give you much more than that, but I'll try to narrow the list to three for ya... Phantom of the Opera (1987 - Robert Englund) - I have always loved this version of "Phantom of the Opera" not only because it can make you jump in your seat (at least it used to, before I watched it so many times that I can tell you what is going to happen in the next scene), but also because of some of the awesome music and costumes used. Besides, who could pull off the phantom better than Robert Englund? He played Freddy after all... Bram Stoker's Dracula - I don't think anyone has made a better version of this or ever will. This version has an all-star cast, a rich story-line, and it keeps your attention through out the entire movie. I especially like how much more descriptive they are in this movie versus other Dracula movies you can find anymore. Pride & Prejudice (w/ Colin Firth) - Being that I am a big `Period Piece' fan, it's no wonder I love this movie. Granted, most people couldn't and probably wouldn't sit through the length of this version of Pride & Prejudice, but I haven't found another that follows so closely to the book that you can practically follow along. I especially like Colin Firth playing Mr. Darcy. He was the perfect person for this part... Alright, you have my most favored three movies... I never realized, until doing this, how many movies I actually have on my favorite movies list. May I never have to do this again...lol

dr1v3r 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2005 Here are my favourite 3 movies:1. 2 Fast 2 Furious:I found this film quiet good because the cars are really great and the story is good too. The movie is funny and exiting too.2. Gone in 60 seconds:I found this movie great because its exiting pure and you can see, how you can "unlock" a car like the "car-*BLEEP*-pros".3. You got Served:The moves they make in their dances are unbevielable. And the movie is exiting to the last minute. But i like this film cos of the great dance moves
SarCasM 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 Hmmm, Its a hard decision for me but,1. POTC, Pirates of the Caribbean. This movie is really funny yet has a good storyline too IMO, I never really get tired of watching it.2. Star Wars Episode 3. I saw this and loved it, I wasn't a really a big fan of Star Wars, although I always liked it, but this blew me away I guess.3. Bad Boys 1&2, can't really pick between them, they both are awesome IMO, plus Will Smith is one of my favorite actors, I Robot is also a very good movie. Acidify 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2005 well I like a lot of movies but my favorites 3 are hmmm1.Annie-I dont know if I spelled it right but its a sad movie and fun at the same time lol.And I like that song 'tommorow tommorow everything will be just fine tommorow, its just a day away lol'.2.dawn of the dead-dawn of the dead is a awesome movie and very funny but it can be boring if you watch it too much. And I like it because unlike most movies it dont take anytime to get to the point and get the movie main idea started.Like for ex:The texas chainsaw massacre is boring because it takes so long to get to the main point.Maybe if they skiped all the pick up the girl junk and made their tire break down and they go to the house they would of got more good comments.3.all friday the 13th's-all of thoses were good.some people think freddy vs jason was better but I dont think so.I like candyman too because it scares ya a lot and is very detailed. Frayed 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2005 1. Bridget Jones's Diary: I love this movie because I loved the book. I believe I've watched it over 30 times on TBS: Very funny, but I got tired of waiting for it to come around so when I got my chance I bought it. I have a thing for older british actors aswell >.>. The movie is a lot like the book Pride and Prejudice (which also stared Colin Firth in the A&E movie). I loved Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones's Diary is a parody of the film/book so that's my reason for this movie.2. Of Mice and Men: It's the same reason with Bridget Jones's Diary, they both come from books. Both are not exactly like it, but it was good anyways. I loved the book and after reading it I rented the movie and it turned out to be my favorite.3. Greese: I am a sucker for catchy music. I have seen this movie just as much as I have seen Bridget Jones's Diary.
