  1. I believe that Firefox is nearing or over 10% now in the browser use statistics.I don't think that it'll ever beat IE, unless Mozilla starts making its own OS and gets more buyers over Windows. :/
  2. Yeah, some of them have the render over the border layer. Overall, very nice. I really like the third one.
  3. I actually really like the dots and the colors.Of course, the name placement is excellent too. I love it.
  4. I'm an agnostic, leaning towards Athiesm. What I've been wondering is how God created the universe. For someone to have created the universe, they would have to exist outside it, which is impossible because the universe contains absolutely everything.I'm still looking for proof, so if someone can help me out it'd be greatly appreciated.
  5. It must've been pretty awesome to have found that mummy. Just the fact that you've found something that hasn't been found by current scientists would be overwhelming, let alone its a well preserved mummy.
  6. From my perspective it's bad parenting. If distasteful information or behaviors adapted from friends, the media and other sorts of areas where children gain information is being exerted the parents shouldn't be lax about it and stop it. It's all up to the parents to stop the children from adapting these behaviors before they become too much for said parents to control. If the mother and/or father is ignorant to the situation, it is their fault that his or her child is acting badly. If the actions or information is only being disclosed out of earshot or view, then it becomes a grey area. The parents may never find out about it but if they're notified they'll be forced to(or attempt) to stop it. Unless there were telltale signs(most likely) then it's still the parent's responsibility to monitor their children. In short: Parents should always(with few exceptions) be able to stop bad behavior from occuring before it becomes a serious problem.
  7. I play guitar, going into four years. I have a horrible acoustic which I never use besides to goof around. The guitar I mainly use now is my Les Paul Special which I love so much. Most of the songs I play are from various parts of the metal and punk genres. God, I love my guitar so much and learning new stuff has to be way cooler than anything else.
  8. My dad got a licence for CuteFTP, which I found on the computer accidently as with all of the junk that's on it. I think it's very easy to use and I find it more comfortable than any other FTP client.
  9. I'd take a cellular phone so I could order other electronical devices to be delivered to my desert island. That would rock to have a whole island to yourself, complete with stereo, laptop, and television.I think I'd get lonely though, so having a cell phone still helps.
  10. I never really got into anything outside teh books(which took me a pretty long time to read) so I didn't find myself seeing the movies or games as I wasn't too interested. After running out of games to play in my midnight marathons, I turned to the Lord of The Rings. This game looks very good because there seems to be a lot more things to do, I'd like it to be looser as said above. I haven't seen any screenshots yet but as I'm typing I am looking. Definitely checking this one out.
  11. Last year I lent my friend Kingdom Hearts, which at that time was my favorite game. After him delaying giving me back the game for about a month, I forced him. What I got back was the disk not running on any PS2 and the case covered with a coffee stain. A coffee stain. :DI've gotten it to run occasionaly but it's not consistant enough to play it yet(it'll be a year in October) and the stain has almost faded off, but it's the principal of him ruining something I had the kindness to let him borrow, intentionally or not.I guess I take my possessions too seriously.
  12. I really dislike when my parents give someone else permission to use my things. If they had bought the game/computer/cell phone then it would've been fine. But I bought them with my own money and if anything happens to them it's going to be me paying for a new one.Example: You buy car. Your parents lend the car to a friend without asking. The car gets stolen/destroyed.I may be just paranoid but I can see this happening to almost everything I own.
  13. Excuse me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he ruling in name only? I thought that the Crown Prince had been running the country and now was only a small step to recognizing his leadership.Either way, I feel for the family and the citizens of Saudi Arabia. This must've been a great loss for them, as he still was the King.
  14. 1. Extremely annoying music/untalented musicians. This is a subject that I'm extremely touchy about as I'm a musician and love music. The people such as Jessica Simpson, Blink 182, Green Day, etc are forcing the mainstream into steeper decline than ever before. The standards of music are falling in the mainstream so if a 10 year old with no musical talent performs, everyone thinks it's great. However, great things are happening in the underground scene. Hopefully the mainstream will take a turn for the better in the coming years. 2. People Who Brag About The Most Useless Things Imaginable This is one of the things that makes me mad. People who will brag about "how my plastic necklace is so much cooler than yours and how I'd be the coolest Star Wars character out of us". Us would usually be the group of people the person is bragging to. It makes me mad how insecure these people are and how they must be the greatest at something, no matter how trivial and/or useless it is. 3. Labels Everyone today around my neighborhood is labeled by what they wear, what music they listen to, their parent's profession, etc. These labels vary from "prep" to "uber kool punk skater kid who knows nothing about either subject". No one needs to be labelled, it just seems to be a way for people to put everyone else into little boxes because they obviously can't comprehend diversity.
  15. My cousin let me use a handgun for a week a couple years ago. Soon, I got bored and gave it back, even though he offered for me to keep it because I had become exhausted with shooting the same trees over and over again. Not until a couple years later I realized the fun I could've had with other people. Too bad I didn't keep the gun, although it would be crappy and old now.
  16. rejected refered me here after my old host became too strict for my taste. I left and was hostless for a whole 60 seconds until he refered me here.
  17. I like the grungy feel of the sigs you just posted. Most of them are very nice and it looks as if you are beginning to form your own style. You have my vote.
  18. I hope the last book isn't going to be filled with a "Harry, Hermione, Ron Love Triangle" type thing, because that would plainly be terrible. However I wouldn't mind if someone is reincarnated and helps Harry blow Voldemort up. I'm thinking more of a whole battlefield at Hogwarts, where the students put up a last stand or something of the sort. Kinda like in the Lord of The Rings at Helms Deep. Trolls would be knocking walls down and stepping on children, people would be falling out of towers, and jets of light would be flying all over the place.
  19. After 5 straight days it really makes me want to crawl under my blanket and cry. Too many little things that bother me about my parents. I live with them, but I'm talking about five solid full-interaction days. It's just that they're so nitpicky and refuse to welcome any odd changes.
  20. I don't play that many games online. Just Cokemusic and Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors Expansion.I've pretty much stopped playing both of them, so my time online is starting to get boring.
  21. I was born in New York, right outside the city. It's been steadily getting worse around here, as the gang mentality is growing between the younger people. Luckily most of the crime is gang on gang so hopefully one gang will finish the other off.I really want to live/visit the UK, Australia, and maybe even the American south. I'm not really sure yet, but I'm almost positive I don't want to live here anymore.
  22. I scored a 98, which is two points lower than my age group's average. My scores on these types of tests really change, sometimes I score pretty high and other I completely fail. I rushed this test and finished it in about 5 minutes, answering randomly, because I'm impatient. I guess that's the reason it told me my intelligence was "below average".
  23. I also think that this is going to be Nintendo's last console. I mean, look at the PS3 and XBOX 360... I'm pretty sure that their specs are much higher than the Revolution's. If this is their last console, I really hope that they continue making games for the PS family and XBOX.
  24. Hey guys, this is my first post here. After a quick read-through of most of the forums I decided that I like the community atmosphere and decided that I want to join and get hosted.I'm not really good at introductions...so...hello.
