Well Yahoo and Microsoft have collbarated for thier messaging services i.e. both messengers. With this collabaration users of MSN messenger will be able to chat with users of yahoo and vice-versa Now this can be step to make the globalisation in this internet world or can be called a step to bring the users closer but what I think that it is a step to keep the users intact as both these giants are fearing of customer migrating to another giant which is GOOGLE. what do you have to say about it? May be something might have changed for lot people but according to me nothing has changed...I live in INDIA and we Indians are now used to these terrorists activities..I dont know what these terrorists want to do...why they are after INDIA...GOD KNOWS.Well these days it seems to me that these terrorists have changed their focus and have shifted their focus to western countries....and the reason to that is that we have stopped panicing....and yes this is the answer to all their activities...STOP PANICING.Now I know that it is much harder to do then saying but beleive me this is the only answer to these terrorists..because they are always trained for one thing and that is dont worry about your life but if you'll kill so many people then you'll go to heaven but we all know the truth where that terrorists will go....so if we dont care about them and we wont make them center of attraction then they will not do anything....people must stop listening to their foolish lectures...i know lot of them hear them and follow them....as one of my friend has just mentioned that may be we are living next to a terrorists...which can be true for anyone of us.I think that this post will become of more than 2 pages and i wont stop writing on this topic but i think then this will become a post against my own thoughts and that is DONT PAY ATTENTION TO TERRORISTS

I also think the newspapers industry will stick around for sometime but not much the reason for that is these days people dont have much time to read the newspaper...i personally read news online only...i think everyone knows about google news.the reason for that is that news comes quickly and we get updated...also the best thing about online news is that it saves paper which inturn will save trees. either we'll have to find another way of creating high quality paper or another alternative so that trees can be saved and i'm sure that people will continue reading newspapers.now you'll say that i am contradicting my statement..but that is not the case at all....i said that i am the one who reads online news but there is a huge group of people who still like to read newspaper.so in order to stick around newspaper industry will have to find another alternative to paper because these days more and more people are becoming enviornment concious so they will want a diff. way of making the newspaper....which is enviornment friendly

Google announced its new feature recently...i think yesterday...which is called Google Reader. It is bascially a web-based rss reader which allows people to organize their feeds online and let them read it. It allows people to blog the feeds or if they want they can send it using the gmail feature. Just like Gmail it allows people to add stars, create labels. And now people will ask...that how will it work...the simple answer is that if this service of google then it will work with search Yes you have to just search for the content and then subscribe to the feed and you have the information in one page only! hey I am 21 years old and I have mobile phone from past 2 years..i.e. i had a mobile phone when i was 19. When I was 14 there was a guy in my class and he was having a cell phone at that time....I remember that he used to show off that phone a lot...but I hardly care about that because i know at this stage i can purchase a NOKIA 9500 without any problem but I love my N-Gage and I am very happy with it.

Well I am using 11 percent of my google space.....i've stayed on this no. from quite a long time......thanks to ever increasing size of the space provided by GOOGLE Now I dont think that they are lying at all...because company like GOOGLE wont lie....they are providing the space to people and i think you yourself have saved 870 mb and still google is allowing you to receive emails...so if you are not able to fill up that space then you can claim that they are lying to you.

Well what I think if people ask question about computers then its fine...they are looking for some help then one should help them out.....but only till one limit..i.e. after that you can suggest them to read some books or anything like that....I'm in technical support and I know what kind of question I have to hear and then answer them back making sure that I dont use any technical jargons...which is hard..for e.g. you'll find it difficult to explain what is error 678 (in dialup) to a person who doesnt know what is START BUTTON...but we do that...I know its part of my job...and may be that is the reason I have lots of patience in me :huh:Now as far as explaining things to people is concerned...one should always encourage others to use the computer much...assure them that if anything will go wrong you'll be there to fix it but tell them to atleast use it and research more on it....give them some guidance accordingly..where you think they will not ask more question after that....and once they'll research they learn computer accordingly and wont ask you any more questions.

Gmail has launched new features in step of becoming a stable email service instead of a beta service.Here's the list of the new features.Auto-SaveThis feature will automatically save your composed emails in case of any mishappening...like crashing of browser or timing out of connection.ExportIt will allow people to export the address book...there are two options at this time..one is to export is as gmail csv...bascially to import the address book to a diff. gmail account and another is exporting as Outlook csv so that you can import the contacts in diff. email services or programs like eudora, outlook and all others.I'm sure that with the introuction of these features it will attract other people as well.

I agree to you my friend....you have written some of the greatest thoughts you've mentioned....I will say that you've not written anything wrong...I liked this portion a lot.... Now it's not that I dont beleive in GOD...I DO...It's not that I dont follow any RELIGION...I DO. But I have different theory all-together...By birth as other people told me and what my parents and my elders have been following is HINDUISM & beleive in not one but countless GODS....but I my self dont follow that. We all remember what happened in MUMBAI & LONDON...6-7 Blasts and then after that...people fighting all over the place...people burnt religious buildings like GURUDWARA (HOLY PLACE OF ONE OF THE RELIGION OF INDIA) & MOSQUE...so is there any use of creating these religions when there is no use of them..people fight on their name...kill each other and say bad words to the other's religion. Well I am planning to upgrade my PC today after such a long time and I was planning to buy P4 3.0 Ghz but then one of my friend suggested me AMD Athlon 64 bit 3000+ and told me lots and lots of positives...he said there is a website(I dont remember the URL of that website) and it shows the performance of both the processors and AMD excels overthere.So after lot of thought I am not planning to buy AMD..which is not only cheaper but is better than Intel also.

Well Buddy! In this situation I can suggest you that please try to remove the email scanning from the package you just told us about...and try it after that...if still it fails then try to disable the firewall...which i think wont be a problem in your case...I think more or less it will be the email scanning feature of the anti-virus which creates the problem...I am in a technical support and I get lots of issues like this and once we disable the anti-virus email scanning feature or in other cases it is the firewall which is the culprit....and as soon as they are disabled the emails start working properly...what I can suggest you is that try to USE THUNDERBIRD and hopefully you wont find a problem with that..not only..it is light it has a better spam protection and can keep you safe from SPAM...and as far as email's containing viruses are concerned then scan with antivirus before opening any attachment from any source who is unknown.

Well I dont know from where you are....if you are an INDIAN then India must be ashamed of you...and if you are an American..then let me tell you some of the biggest facts of India : and if at all you are none of them i.e. nor Indian nor American then why are you concerned? If you are talking about poverty....then there are lot of things which have been improved...its not about talking about poverty..its about doing something about poverty....now instead of saying these things in forums or in emails or discussing with friends...its better that you start doing something....because untill and unless you and other people will not do anything against poverty nothing will happen and poverty will remain there and it will always be a topic to be discussed. What I personal think that winrar is better than winzip because winrar has the ability to open most of the compressed files...and everyone knows that RAR is getting popular and most people give downloads mostly in RAR files only.now dooga has mentioned about 7z and says that 50 mb can be compressed till 5 mb....if that is true than I am sure that this 7z extension..i mean compression utility will also become popular very fast....but the makers of it will have to take right steps in this case.Till the time I get more reviews about this 7z thingy...i am sticking with winrar because not only its light on memory..it has a nice and simple interface as well....it just works like explorer and everyone of use familiar with explorer.

Well I think that viruses wont stop till the time we have computers and the greed of getting things for free...you know what I mean.Secondly, it will be useless to say that leave the software development to companies only..because there are lot of softwares which you must be using which must have been developed by few individuals so practically it is not possible.Now this is my thinking only and its not to hurt anyone....I think that these anti-virus companies are also helping in development of the viruses because untill and unless there will be new viruses..there product will not be sold...so in order to keep themselves alive they must be hiring virus makers to create viruses and then later on making the definition so that people can be safe from viruses. Who knows that this is happening or not...what I think that this will be going on at this time...not openly but internally.

well i guess you are right that these posts of yours and mine will may be attrack people to vote.....also people who are in grapics crew have not voted for anyone...for e.g. johnny (praying that he will not take out the frustation of the army game against me )Lets vote guyz...so that the tournaments comes to an end...it is seen that any tournament over here...takes lot of time to come to an end.I think graphics crew will need to work more in order to attrack more members to it...so that the results of the tournaments whether tournaments like this or SOTW's come out quickly.

I think this is a very good software...not only it allows people to have a look at their locations but it has its pros and cons as well.Here is the advantage which i think it has :It can be incorporated in Cars and it will allow people to reach to most destinations without any problems...I know I know that most of you will say that this system is already there in most of the cars and infact they are much better than this but look at the brighter side of it...this is free and soon we'll be having computers in low budget cars also and their it will come handy for those people who can't afford expensive carsIt will help defence of the countries in lot of their missions.Now, here's the disadvantage of google earth and similar technologies..that they will allow culprits to get any location they want in this world...again you will say that those people will already be having the same..or infact better technology but yet again...it will also help those culprits who are not at bigger level (i think you got my point..to whom i am pointing out here) and may be those small culprits will become bigger culprits.Well everyone of us knows that the technology brings both advantages and disadvantages it depends on us...that how we make use of it

I have just one computer...and that too a very old one and now I'm planning to buy a new one for myself...but i am confused wheather should i buy a desktop or a laptop...budget is not a problem for me...i can buy a good laptop but I wont get the best configurations in that which i'll be able to get in the desktop in that same amount of money..my brother is insisting on laptop..so i am planning for that only.
