Well, first of all, a very nice thread to start. It is kind of a game and show-off both! As far as your sigs are concerned, i'll say that you need lot of work on your sigs. I'll suggest you to download some of the good brushes...I'll give you the link of few : The one's who are having a * are recommended. and then go to http://www.pixel2life.com/and go through some tutorials! Please dont find it offensive...It was my suggestion only! My sigs :

I am sorry for this, I did'nt notice that this was said by Our ADMIN Anyways Jokes apart, I will say that Xisto is a place, where all talented people are posting and when I say talented, they all are talented enough to understand what is expected from them and if it is about making posts by using punctuations and using correct grammer then there is no problem with that! Infact, the people who are stressing on the use of the correct grammer and punctuation are the ones who understand that not each and everyone over here is from a english speaking country, so they do ignore these small mistakes. But, when someone is making sentences which will not make any sence if punctuations won't be used, then they will have to point out that member over there. Just wanted to ask few things from you! I see that the mentioned Ip address is not yours...but are you using a software like rapidleecher or anything like that and have mentioned proxy list in the software. Because if that is the case then please go through the raidshare's faq... For your convenience... Well, this is the post which I've made in Xisto...I thought you guys will be intersted in knowing about the service..which I am talking about in this particular post! Well, as far as submitting your email address to this company is concerned..it is quite safe..as I've mentioned that I was using this service and had no trouble with it...and again I didnt got any spam either...so overall a reliable service...I must say.

Well, Have you checked it that wheather you connection is dropping because of your ISP or is it just you! if not then do call their helpline first!Secondly, lets assume that it's your computer..then go ahead and try it on your main computer...if that runs fine..then for sure it will be a problem with the network.I hope to get more information from you...to find out what step can be taken next!

all righty! I'll be doing that for sure!Anyways, after that post of mine I downloaded the GDK and after that I was shocked to see so many layers..I am thinking that how much time finaldesign must have invested in making that beautifull skin for the board!I am sure that I'll need hell lot of time...to do it..I know I am not great in graphics..so lets hope that I'll be able to complete that without giving up on the idea of making it!

Yes! the link is not loading for me either. But yes that is a good major flaw.It is using a considerable amount of memory. When I checked mine it was showing 35 mb of RAM! but I hardly care about that...because I am having a good amount of RAM in my computer...1GB!! But I am concerned about those guys who are using less RAM.I am sure Mozilla will come out with a new version soon!

Well that is one of the hot news i've heard recently!Google has now 5% of AOL...we all know how big AOL is and that how much they earn..so its good news for all Google fans that there fav. search engine company is stepping into Internet Service provider race as well!Who knows that one day we'll be discussing that Google has more than 50% of the share of AOL!Well, I've heard that Google is planning to provide Internet connection thru wireless...Now is that true? And if it is then I think this 5% is one of the big step of the plan they have in their mind.

Ok I'll say that it looks good!But it needs lot of work and here are some of the suggetions :Render needs to be blended..you could have achived by using the colors of the render or by making the background like that.I didnt like the text at all..Some how the render's legs are broken (maybe they were supposed to be like that only)One more thing, you have saved it in the right way..i.e. PNG format.I am sure you must have seen it on IE..use firefox and you will see it ok.The reason for that is IE does not support PNG transperancy, however IE7 will have that feature as well!I'll give 6/10

One more thing markbla that make sure you dont start adding up 60-70 credits...and then later request for the hosting...because once you request for hosting you whole credits go down to 2..so make sure to keep it around 40-45 and then request for hosting.

You know what..these days I feel that no rule is difficult or strickt..when I am posting :huh:And as far as being serious nature posts are concerned..then I am one of those..who likes them a lot! The reason I chose Xisto in starting was that I didnt know any programming languages or anything speacial...but now I am learning CSS so I thought that it will be a nice start over here.And you know what, I am already having a good time over here

Well, this is a really nice contest! Not only your statement has encouraged me to participate in it...but has also given me the opportunity to become a good designer. I know, I can play around with graphics...after learning how to make sigs...but I know making the skins for IPB will be a tough job. Now, the whole point is that it will take some time for me to make one...So, I hope that this contest will be running for some long time..as I am new over here and just saw this contest. Hey m^e! are you going to start any contests like these at Xisto?

I agree to m^e on this point! Now if I'll stop over here and post my reply then my reply will not give me enough credits and nor it will be a good quality post..it will be just a small one liner. For other members I would like to tell you that these days I've taken inspiration from one great poster. He is hosted at Xisto, he has just made 50 posts and after having the hosting..he is having enough credits to keep his site hosted for more than a month. If you want to have a look at this posts please follow this link. Now, One more thing..as the original topic starter said that he finds it odd that Xisto.net is having more space and we people who are posting are getting less space..and we are acting as slaves...as I have seen that most of the members are not agreeing to this. According to me, posting in forums is fun and along with that it increases your knowledge and on top of that you are able to get help from other members without paying even a single cent! And as a bonus, you are getting 150 mb of space and that too without ADS. So, if we combine this package..then it will be much heavier than having a website hosted at a place which shows ads but gives you more space. Let me give you one more example...My own site which is https://mayankgupta.com/ a personal site...I am not even using 10 MB's because for my photos I prefer ZOTO a free service which gives me 2 GB of space to upload my photographs.

Well according to me Windows Machine will be a better choice!I think I will be one of those few people on the internet who will say that so bravely :huh:The reason I am saying is this that I know how to use Windows...I am very comfortable with that...I know how to keep my windows clean with spywares and viruses.I remeber that it's been only 2 times that my computer got infected with a virus or a spyware! :shocking: isnt it.I am saying all this...because most people fear of these things only...crashing and all...your computer will crash if you'll install all kind of useless softwares.Now as your need is so less then I think you must go for a windows machine...because I am sure you must have used a windows machine more than a mac based machine. So, go for comfort.You may be running here and there to get it fixed...if at all it gets bad..but for windows you will get 10 advices right over here in this forum!I hope I have made my point clear If anybody has any question..you are free to ask it.

well Limewire, It is a very good software..but because of my own fault..I got one virus. But that was my own fault...didnt virus check the file before opening it...was exited to have that software.But if you compare this software with others...then I find it really good..it has nice clean interface and it wsa giving good speed as well..not like other sharing clients.There is a pro version and free version...who care to pay then go for pro..that is certainly better

Beleive me or not, I am loving this topic of yours...This topic has inspired me...I am serious on this...Yes it has inspired me a lot to make money online.Earlier I used to think that it is not possible for me to earn money online. But now I am thinking of a very big concept. For that I am doing lots of things.First of all, As one thing is required..i.e. A domain name, webspace.I am trying to get a domain name by posting in Real Web Talk community who give domain name for free.Secondly, I have started to post in Xisto..so that I can get webspace over there.Thirdly, most importantly...My interest was always inclined towards web designing but I dont know how to code...so for that reason itself..i've started to learn CSS and the reason for that is that CSS is the best...Loads faster and can give beautifull results.And my big plan is to create web templates...and then give them absolutly free and then I'll go for the strategy..of making sales of diff. softwares.What do you think of my plan?Looking for your responce....God, I am falling in love with this topic!

Well, I dont know that is it just me or what!I can see that the header over there is having a blurry text!So if you can look out of the that..also the color of the header..is not of my taste...You gave it a tech look..may be you can try diff. other things...we all know how good you are at these things

That is a nice good tutorial!These days I am learning Css..so I didnt understand the code much but I am trying hard to learn CSS and I am sure this can come handy in designing good websites. Well, Thanks for this nice tutorial..it is a great effect and good way of displaying your website.

Yeah it is really intersting story...but I think it wiould have been great if you've named it..i mean tittled it "About [Xisto]" because this is the story of Xisto and I think OpaQue must tell us about Xisto as well!
