well, there is a not at all easy way to do what you want. After you would define the chanel in which the swfs will communicate, you make it with -receiving_lc.connect("lc_name"); -line Now you have the reiciving swf, but you need the swf who will tell the reiciving swf what to do, in the code are two single lines that make that, and it's not hard to understand, first you define a sending localConnection object, and then tell it that communicate with other swf in a common channel, in this case the same channel for the reiciving swf("lc_name"),and then invoke the method you want in the reiciving swf with its respective parameters to execute. this is a basic usage of localconnection object, because it has more useful methods and features, like restrict which dns can acces to your swf and security options. May be you can find helpful the flash docummentation, just type LocalConnection, and press f1 key over it, and it will display the class deffinition with its methods descriptions. i hope you find it useful!

i think java is better than php, in one hand php is easy and it doesn't have language restrictions and at last it brings you the security that any other language offers you, but when you talk of proffesional coding it's worthless because it hasn't variable constraints and a lot of things respect to object oriented programming. In the other hand java is specially designed for a good object oriented programming, it's a litle hard to learn but it has the modularity needed to acomplish professional coding and also all the complex of java packets.

i think new technologies are great, you have many options to use your cell phone, photo, infra, audio, internet, organizer, games, bluetooth, and a lot more of features, it's great to have all that services in only one machine, i hope it becomes more integrated day on day

actually i am using five mail systems, gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etb(my internet service provider mail account) and my college mail account. the most used is gmail, be4cause it is big and i don't have to delete mails everytime and checking the accounting space, and also it has great features for begginers and experinced people. the second i most use is hotmail, because everybody has a hotmail account, and i like the messenger. the third would be my college mail account because where i'm studying is the best college in my country and when i put it in my curriculum it ads value to my profile, ensuring a callback for work. the fourth is yahoo, i think may be is the best, it has big space, it is a great community, it has a lot of features such as online radio, chatrooms, audio conversations, and a lot of ways to talk with your friends, but actually i am using too many mail accounts so i almost never use this except when the other mail accounts don't work, or whe i am suscribed to a mailng list of some group in my college. and finally the etb mail account, my internet service provider, i have never used it, but it is there, maybe someday i will use it, i don't hope so, but there is!

i prefer mozilla firefox because it has a lot of feateures that microsoft internet explorer doesn't, before three months ago i used to run internet explorer and often netscape navigator, it's confusing with all that tools in the net, opera, zafari, firefox, etc, but since i meet firefox i have been using this browser because it is open software, enables you to add rss feeds easyly and the built-in searh bar is greatful, also it let you open several browse tags in only one tag, in that way i can navigate searching different topics separeted by windows and you don't get confuse in your searches, for this reasons and a lot more i preffer mozilla firefox
