My thoughts on terrorism, appologists, those who would exterminate muslims, and other extremists. Ok There have been a rise in terrorist attacks against the "western world" by muslim extremists. Reaction to this seems to be far reaching, I don't know if it is just that moderates are just stearing clear of the topic or what, but the only views I seem to hear are those from people saying that it is all the fault of foreign policy, or all because all muslims are evil. I will not go so far as to say these people are as bad as terrorists, but I will say that they (on both sides) are not making things any better. A mission to wipe out all muslims would NOT stop terrorism, just as appeasing muslim extremists would NOT stop terrorism.Yes the US, UK, EU, and even Canada, has had piss poor foriegn policies, particularly when it comes to the Middle East, and yes the US did train Osama bin Laden and his troops to fight against the USSR, and yes the war on Iraq has been unfair and unjust possibly even illegal. None of that justifies terrorism. The terrorists should be hunted down, justice should be done. The flawed foriegn policies are in place because of misguided attempts to help, I honestly believe that the US and the entire western world only wants what is best for the entire world, but you know what they say "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".Yes the Terroists are evil people, as are the Muslim EXTREMIST groups that preach the hatred that can be interpreted from the Qu'aan. This does not mean that all muslims are evil, nor that the religion is any more flawed than any other religion out thier, nor does it mean that it is any less tolerant of any other religion. Remeber the Bible is VERY intolerant of other religions, and of women and children, you doubt it, read the bible with an open mind and try to judge it harshly, there are several passages that anyone can grab at random to justify violence. Most holy documents from almost every faith have some very questionable passages in them, but most people choose not to focus on them, as most muslims do not focus on the "kill all infidels" type passages from thier scriptures. Nuking the middle east will not solve anything, nor will backing out of Iraq now and staying out of affairs in the middle east. The ONLY thing that can bring peace is to get everyone talking. Weapons NEVER end war and violence, only talking rationally with your enemy can peace be achieved.Remember everything stated here is my own opinion, I don't claim to have all the answers, and feel free to ignore my entire message, but it is what I believe to be truth.My thoughts are with "the other" London.(I am from London Ontario, that is why I refered to London, UK as "the other" London).

I also use DVD Xcopy Xpress, and you can copy the menu's to, there is a check box to copy the entire disk instead of just the movie, that gets everything, it works well for 99% of all movies, every now and then one doesn't work for one reason or another, but it does a good job.

About 25 minutes ago police confirmed 33 have died. All this happening a mere hour's train journey away from us. I really shocked. Nothing like this ever happened to London before. BTW I agree that it must have had more to do with G8, after all they chose the opening day of the summit, and the absense of Blair is certainly going to make an impact on the meetings that would have been taking place, although I heard that the G8 is cancelling all meetings until tomorrow dispite the leaders saying they wanted to have business as usual to send a message to the terrorists.

There have been a couple of girls that I really liked and wished I had done something about it. One was this girl I actually dated for a few months back in highschool, I was certain I was madly in love with her, but in the end she broke up with me because she thought I didn't care for her, ah the irony, of course I used to think back that if I had of just talked to her maybe should I could have convinced her I had real feelings for her I just wasn't good at expressing them. The next was a girl in my homeroom all through highschool, I had a crush on her right from the first day but she intimidated the hell out of me, I finally got up enough courage to ask her out for the prom, she said yes but then didn't give me her number or a way to get ahold of her so we didn't end up going together. I showed up with another girl she showed up with another guy and she told me she wished I had of called her, when I told her I didn't have her number she laughed and said she thought she had given it to me and assumed I had changed my mind. We never really talked much after that, I think I kind of thought her story was suspect, but sometims I wonder. In the end though I ended up with a woman I love more than anything and is WAY hotter than either of them. Sometimes life just works out the way it should.

Hey everyone, anyone ever play Robot Rage? If you haven't I suggest you give it a shot, here is the link. It is an online game that lets you build a custom Robot and fight other gamers online with your bot. If you do play and have a + ranking keep a look out for Geekz and feel free to challenge me, I am always up for a good fight. It is a fun game, although it can be frustrating to find an opponent sometimes.

I am going to agree with the other posters, first it is very offensive and as such will probably be removed for violation of the TOS. The blood on the towel is VERY realistic and extremely well done, but the words are not so great. First problem, blood is a liquid, as such there are two problems with what is written on the wall, #1, it is not dripping in any way, blood doesn't drip like water, but it is still a liquid so it should drip some, #2, no shine, I suppose if it was dried blood it wouldn't shine, but it loses some of the effect. My other problem is it is too neat, the lines get too thin, and there is no smearing, I would doubt that you intended it to look like someone used a paint brush, but that is how it looks, sure they did a poor job with a paintbrush, but the blood is too even, and are no thin/thick spots just thick/narrow. Over all pretty good dispite my criticisms, but I took your post as to be a request for critical reviews, as such I gave it.Just my opinon, feel free to take it or leave it.

Good idea in theory though. We'll have to see how it pans out. Anything M$ makes is genereally junk for the first couple of versions, but generally they steal enough code to make a product half decent. I hope M$ actually put the time in to properly test this product for glitches and made it a good useful product. Only time will tell.

I would never trust any web business that insisted you could make money, but only AFTER you gave them some cash. If their system was so good at making cash why not have you do it for free for a while until you made them thier production costs and then start paying you.

I am a father and the only way my daughter would ever have a computer in her room is if it wasn't connected to the net. Too much danger out there in the Cyber space, and I have seen said danger invade into real life before, so don't think it can't happen. I probably sound like a public service announcement no one qanst to hear, but I personally think that a computer in the bedroom of any one who is not yet an adult is a very bad idea. I am perfectly willing to give my daughter (assuming I can afford it) her own computer in the livingroom where I can monitor her, but even then I would probably have a poxy server loaded so I could see exactly what sites she was going to and blacklist anything I deamed inappropriate. That being said I would never read her emails or invade her privacy in that manner, but I would try and restrict MSN use.

Correct, the title would fall under Trademark laws and not copyright laws. Another important note is that copyright rules are pretty much universal, they apply not only in the states but pretty much everywhere in the world. There are a few contries that have lenient copyright laws, but they pretty much all resemble the US laws. The Canadian Laws are nearly identical, in fact all of the points that rejected pointed out are just as true in Canada as they are in the US.

hmm... hard to pick just one, Gmail is an excellent email service, love the space, love the speed, love pretty much everything. Google Search is, of course, the best search engine I have ever used. Google Maps blows away all of the mapping services I have used. Not a fan of Google Toolbar, but I don't like any toolbars, so I am biased agianst it. Adsense is good. Like I said, hard to pick just one. The one I use the most is probably gmail, although the one that is probably the most useful to me is google maps because I travel around quite a bit (not long travel trips, just in the local area) and being able to put in pretty much any location and getting fairly accurate directions is handy.

Man, that is quite a list, hard to come up with just two that I would recommend. If you have never read Tolkien I highly recommend The Hobbit, it is a fun read and an excellent story. Then again I am an avid Tolkien fan insofar as I have even read the Silmarillion twice (took me damn near a decade to read it the first time, but it was easier the second time) and the Lord of the Rings series dozens of times easily (pretty much a yearly ritual with me). The Once and Future King is a great book, T.H. White is a great author, but there are so many other good books in that list as well. A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court is the book that made me fall in love with Twain, Twain was definately one of America's best writers, ranks up there with the best to have ever lived in my books. I haven't read Gulliver's Travels in quite some time, but Swift is always an amusing read, especially if you like satire. I know my wife would recommend the Bronte and Tan books, but I have never managed to make it through a Bronte book, and I have never even picked up an Amy Tan book yet, though honestly I do intend to eventually get around to it. The Last of the Mohicans is an excellent book as well, though not on my top ten, I do fondly remember reading that book several times in my youth. I am ashamed to admit I have never read A Tale of Two Cities, David Copperfield, or Oliver Twist, they are on my list of books I must read at some point, but there is always something else more interesting to read. Alot of people really enjoy Jack London, but I don't. Hard to say for certain which two, but I would probably go with The Hobbit and A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.
