  1. I don't see a point in having both of them. it'll just cause more confusion.Web_Designer, irc doesn't require any knowledge, here, I made this. right now it's pointing to one of my other channels but you get the idea http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ there and tell me if it doesn't seem better lol.and it will be even better when my friend get done coding his new IRC client, here is the layout (note that it is not yet functional, this is just the layout)http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  2. Lol that's the whole point, to be able to host pirated content without government control.
  3. So basically TPB Co-Founder is making a new DNS system for a new domain extension .p2p and the Government will not be in control of it, in other words, the government will no longer be able to take down websites that has illegal content. they will be powerless ! Peter Sunde has my full support, I applaud him for this and hope it goes over well. Read the full story: https://digitizor.com/the-pirate-bay-co-founder-starting-a-p2p-based-dns-to-take-on-icann/ http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/1929499/pirate-bay-start-p2p-dns
  4. The government is all about secrets you think the government is gonna tell us about something like that? + most people are closed minded and don't want to believe in such things.
  5. <_<

Where are you... we need you.............

  6. Well if OpaQue would answer my PM that I sent 5 months ago I suggested that he embed an irc client on the forums (to replace the chat room) also, there is a link to the web based client in the post itself http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  7. yeah, I know what you mean about the delay when you get to your desktop until all the start-up services are running, I think it's only a few seconds though.
  8. Well I don't like the idea of bumping old old threads but I'm running out of options, xisto has always been a reliable host, if it comes to the point where I cannot keep the bill paid I don't know what I will do, I could try to move to a free host but I have a feeling I'd get suspended..... I do have another host, I paid $1 for a .com domain and a year of unlimited hosting (it was a promo they were having) if it comes to the point of moving i'd probably move to that, but I'm not sure I trust them to host my files as I don't know much about them.. I couldn't pass up that $1 deal
  9. Yeah, I noticed this also, that's why it's impossible for me to keep my hosting active. because: #1 Old members get less myCENT. #2 There's no threads to post in. Well OpaQue will also have to give this forum some attention, that's the main reason for it's inactivity. Also, I don't know why he never advertised. I can see that Xisto - Web Hosting isn't well known. in fact. I can't seem to find it listed on any web host lists and when I mention it somewhere people just say "lol wut?"
  10. so that means we can bump 4 year old topics? seriously though my hosting just got suspended and I need myCENTs nothing to post in tbh.
  11. well for starters I agree some of the videos are fake, but how do you know ALL of them are cg animated??heh, you tell ME why the government wants to do something as pointless as build life on the moon? or take people into space to explore a planet which they already know has no chance of sustaining life??
  12. Yup full power-on, the 8GB of RAM speeds it up, plus my computer isn't bogged-down by a bunch of crap.
  13. This can't be real, porn isn't illegal, unless it was child porn or something. at the very most his web host might not allow it and suspend his hosting.
  14. No I don't know a case like that, you have a link? also, bots are a good way of getting free stuff/money, I make my own for promos/freebies etc etc
  15. lol I think the chocolates are for his grandmother, not the parrot
  16. ahem. this may seem like spam but why did you post his IP address in the public? lol
  17. LOL that's funny, glad I don't like in Scotland. and yup here is the US they would tell you to stop calling because they have more important things lol
  18. I do believe that there are "aliens" in other parts of the galaxy, I believe that they are lifeforms very similar to ours and that there are more then one "earth". and these aliens are far more advanced then us. kinda makes you think of star trek eh? I think that's sorta the idea of what's out there. it's only common sense to know that there's another earth out there, when a planet dies, all of the gases, and other elements get re-compressed and form a new planet. it's a crap shoot really to determine if the planet will sustain life or not, if it can, then the life on the planet is formed from the gasses and other elements. then evolution starts. and that's how we, and earth came to be. unfortunately we don't yet have the technology to explore past our own solar system. I don't believe this. I believe we do get visited by aliens because they are curious. if we found another planet with life like earth, wouldn't we visit?
  19. Mine takes around 30 secs from the time I press the power button, to the time I'm on my desktop.running windows7 ultimate 64-bit - 8GB RAM - 1TB HDD - 2.9Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo.
  20. This post made me lol. seriously. bypassing captchas??? ILLEGAL??? LOLalong with exploits, there are decaptcher services that charge almost nothing. the services can be added to bots, and they will fill in the captchas for you.but bypassing captchas.. illegal... really.. they might as well make spam illegal while their at it.. never gonna happen.
  21. I really like Notepad++ but another good alternative would be Komodo-Edit but IMO it's a bit cluttered
  22. There is absolutely no skill involved when you use a CMS like dreamweaver or frontpage. my suggestion would be to use notepad... and nothing else. this way you will learn about web code and your code will come out cleaner/better. the only times I use dreamweaver is when I'm generating a fast bit of code for something simple. but If I'm serious about a website I just use notepad++. nothing beats coding by hand \o/

  24. Livecd's are useful for many reasons, you can try an OS you are considering installing. but they can also be used for debugging purposes. if you are having real trouble with your computer or just can't boot or access your files, and you don't have another computer to hook your HDD up to to access the files, you can boot into a livecd to access those files and back them up. I have done it before on my friends computer. his HDD had bad sectors and it wouldn't boot, I booted it from the livecd and was able to back up the data on alternative media so he wouldn't loose it
