Of corse they are, you are playing against other people, not AI. Its more real, its a 50/50 sort of thing, because a computer can predict wht you are going to do next, while a human cant as much...Offline games can get borimg as enemies are sometimes in the same place every time you playe, while online games, its is always going to be different...Online games are the best! I am currently addicted to Wolfenstien - Enemy territory. lol Awesome game!

Buy a desktop computer, with at leas 2Ghz processor, 256Mb memmory. Laptops are rubbish for the sims, It takes up over 3Gb on the hard drive... If you do get it running, dont forget to check out my site http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Trap17 used to have a stylish silver skin, but it was slow loaing and slowed down the forums, it also messed up alot of mods and stuff... I advise them maybe adding one but not setting it a default, letting the user choose the skin. You may have noticed that there is a new mod, posts bellow 300 characters are not counted, this makes it easier to check that a user has made ther ight ammount of GOOD posts...

It will run on your compouter, however, it will be very slow because of your processor, mine is 2200Mhz and it is a bit slow at times on mine...

Create an interactive website, where people can sign up, and upload their own creations for things e.g.:: web design:: the sims:: other gamesthings like that.And make sure that the content it updated often, then use a service like adbrite and turn ad clicks into money, also you could set up a system where by members pay to upgrade to premuim members and get exclusive content and other features,Thats what im doing anyway, lol.

That pc looks a bit... unstabel?My friends computer had water cooling, he overclocked his processor, AMD Athlon, from 2.2Ghz to 3.2Ghz, he had to get a new processor because his first one blew up, all he had was a normal fan, lol.

I havent realy got a clue about PHP, but If I have a script in front of me, I can work out what does what and change things if I need to, I could not make a script myself, but i could edit others

Sorry, you do not need to fill in Preferred DNS Server just ignore that... As long as the IP of each computer starts off the same its ok, so... IP address: 192.168.0.any Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 192.168.0.1 e.g. 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.25 192.168.0.82 they will all work... 3 ip's 3 pc's ------------------------------------------ On the other hand if you want to share an internet connection between multiple pc's... (XP only) Go to Control Panel > Network Connections and right click your internet connection icon, select Properties. On the pc that is connected to the internet click the Advanced tab and under Internet Connection Sharing chech the box to allow it. Now, right click your Local Area Connection icon, select Properties. under This connection uses the following items, Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties. I have now got a new pc and have networked my old pc and my new one together...My old pc is acting as a server, it has PHP and mySQL on it, I just save the files in the folder on my old pc (over the network) and type in the IP of my old pc to view it...
