  1. It would be useful to learn C++, as it'd make php easier to program. Personally I have background in PHP(like) programming, but just the basics. My strategy (which is usually wrong) is to disect the code as I see, then ask questions on what I don't understand.
  2. who said anything about getting overwhelmed? didn't you figure out that the magic 8 ball is just for fun? and i know it's simple, i have seen the code! don't be a party pooper. that page is to support Xisto if you even cared to check the page. tsk...tsk...tsk... at least you admitted your stupidity 4 years ago. lolz i hope it would show no more in your succeeding posts! lolz Aye, it just picks a random line and speaks it. Good job on helping Xisto though, but it was hard for me to understand what you last said. Also, I used to have those on MIRC.
  3. Aye, to elaborate, I believe you would have to upload a database, which would most likely be into mysql, (Ew) then submit the message to the server, have it sent back (after searching every word in the english language).
  4. Curious, but if you allowed and made seperate logins for a sub-directory, what things are those users allowed to do in that certain directory? (Upload, Delete, etc) Also, would they be allowed to create subdomains for their subdomains? And by the way - best question and answer ever, this is rather useful.
  5. Correct me if I'm incorrect, but do not <a> tags have alts to them? I can't remember what exactly, but it works like the description of an image. I haven't used them for about 3 years, as I'm not one for SEO (Yet.)
  6. Norton is good for neebies( preety good overall but still to easy )Kaspersky is my choise Eh... what exactly is this 'neebie'? Anyway, I did a quick search and Zonealarm comes with an antivirus software. It's also freeware (To the best of my knowledge.)
  7. You could also type them up into a .txt file (And encrpyt it), or even use something like a password manager..
  8. That thing is so simple... if you get overwhelmed by that you're stupid... just like I did for four years.
  9. ...Jeebers, do you stop pile the w word or what? I have only 10/80 gigs do to my reformatting. (Never, ever used Windows Reformatter btw.)
  10. Pffft. You people don't know what you're missing. You've honestly never played any of these, as they quite are Real Time, and you don't get pauses to think of your moves, thus Strategy is required. Plus, I can't live with myself if I play Starcraft, I hate it when anyone dies. Now, once you make a Peon Army, I can live with that.
  11. Open any type of document editor that has a spellchecker, then use it. I personally dislike the idea, as it would probably use alot more bandwith then needed.
  12. You have no bloody *BLEEP*ing idea pal. I've threatened to delete myself after getting locked outside my own parameters. Bah, twas *BLEEP*.
  13. Norton Antivirus is a nice one if you're willing to pay.Although, can't remember if Zonealarm was an Antivirus application, or a firewall.
  14. Actually, I believe those are optional.. as the one I have perpetually sitting there doesn't have any ads. Although, if you're using free hosting they make you put some stupid code on there. Stick to Xisto.com. It pwnz.
  15. D2 gets boring after awhile, too many bots and such. (Even ON Bnet.) I personally prefer Knight Online. It's pretty decent, not too hard either.
  16. Meh.. I'm 'friends' with my old girlfriend, yet we still seem like a couple, talk about weird, eh? Yes.. Hamsters and most likely puppies, because they just get showered with affection... (Darn those dogs)
  17. wrong! it is Filters-->EyeCandy-->Glass... and seting up effect for about 20 mins LOL.. A duplicate signature could probably be rigged up that looks very close to that with Plastic Filter though, as I don't use any plugins other then the default ones.
  18. you are really getting better in your graphics designing ability hatebreed. i really like the effects you have put in your sig. Can you please post a tutorial for me on how to make that kinda effects on a pic? Thanks in advance for your consideration Just looking at it, he must've used some different types of blending options/settings and plastic wrap. (For sure.) Anywho, Odomike, I'm guessing you used 4 layers of text in that signature of yours? Also, it looks nice, I could probably not do that type of background frame.
  19. Mayhaps you are not CHMODing it correctly? I generally set things like that to 755 (Everything but Write options for public, users.)Also, you may have installed it incorrectly.
  20. Sorry I was gone for about half a week, had an awful virus and I reformatted (Clean way) and then installed Windows XP. Unfortunately, I have a whole bloody bunch of homework, but I should be able to post some tomorrow.
  21. Notice also, that it's dependant on how many people use each isp.
  22. Nice job, either I'm trembling from looking at it, or does is give the illusion of shaking? o-o; (I'm crazy, don't listen to teh AI.)
  23. Darn you! I was going to say that. 8.1/10.1 An extra .1, because I could -never- get PSP to work for crackers for me, thus why I switched to it's cousin -- Adobe.
  24. You could have flash signatures, but that's only if you have a moderator/admin approve it and upload it to a server which you don't have access to. I think it's just too much of a hassle - go use Image Ready for gifs. The only thing you're missing is sound, and who needs that anyway? (And a few other programables.. but yea.)
  25. They quite do have Parental Control products, but being the person I am, my mum doesn't make me use 'em. Anywho, Norton PCs are so easy to bypass - I find more of a challenge removing filters off my school's network. * - Note, I'm not going to tell you how as, Norton would probably get an update to it.. and we're all screwed.
