Hi, I bought Max Payne about a year ago, possibly slightely longer ago than that. At the time the graphics were spot on and the game play was amazing. There was plenty of fantastic animations and effects for all the characters and weapons an generally I was just loving the game. It was just that after a while I got bored of the in-your-face gameplay. I craved for more opurtunity, and that is the only down side I have with Max Payne, and that is the fact that there is only one way through the missions all of which include blasting your way through a series of guards and weapons. I really wanted the qualities of say - SoCom II US Navy Seals. So after a while I did start to get bored of it, but I've always been a fan of realistic battle games, one's which involve stealth, tactics, skill with a combination of mental firefights. Anyway - the game is good it's just that in time it has sought of lost it's edge. I haven't played Max Payne 2 and to be honest I don't think that I will. Thanks for your time, Sean Webber. (Alive)

Hi, I'm gonna be completely honest and open here: - I absoloutley hate big brother. I think it is the worst, most painstakingly boring tv series ever. I have no idea why people want to watch a bunch of gays and freaks living in a house for a while. If u want to watch this sought of thing then try going to the zoo for the day... Sorry if I've offened anyone here, cheers, Sean Webber (Alive).

Is God To Blame? Who is to blame for the pain around us?
alive replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Hi, I'm not interested in blaming a certain religion, or blaming any one or name - what happens in this world happens for a reason, and that reason is that we did it. Let's look at an example - World War II:+ Some people say that God must have hated Japan that's why the bomb was dropped, others say it was satan, other's say that it was pure evil on the U.S's part. The fact is that it was a military target. Satan didn't plan the entire mission, and I don't believe that God - a creator of worlds would do such a thing. The bottom line is that Japan was killing the US, and the US didn't want to loose any more of their soliders. It was between people, not forces (evil forces or pure forces). It was one man's choice to drop the A-Bomb, and his decision caused so many deaths. It's what happens in the long run that's makes the difference... Think about it - the A-Bomb killed thousands of people in a heart beat, but how many people would have been killed as a result of Japan being a military target? Millions of civilians would have died in 'regular' military bombings, millions of Japanese soldiers would have died along side millions of US soldiers. We also now know that the A-Bomb can act as a deterent for countries that impose violence. We are only human - we are only animals. All animals will make mistakes. We learn from our mistakes. Everything has a knock on effect - things happen, sometimes things that shouldn't be done are done, it's as simple as that. It's the way the world works, it's the way we work as human beings. God and Satan have nothing to do with it as far as I am concerned, it is us that create these things, and it is us that live with the concecenses. So no, I don't blame God and no, I don't blame Satan, I blame us, it's our mistakes. No one is perfect. Thankyou For Your Time, Sean Webber. -
Hi, I have always been physically competitive. In school it's self and lessons such as maths etc i have never really cared much to be honest. I'm not troubled in that area, it's just that i don't enjoy it - now physical activities - you name it and I do it. I love it. My body is in great shape and there are certain types of competitions that I personally have to win in. (generally speaking I tend to). Normally it's just a bit of friendly competition with my mates, but sometimes when I compete in larger events I really like to win. There are certain types of competitions that I love to win in - for instance - Martial Arts. That's what i do say I have to make sure that I am good at it. The last competition that I have won was during an athletics day. It wasn't long ago, so it was the last thin that I won in. I won the 400 meter sprint. I don't live off winning, and I'm not a bad loser, it's just certain things that I personally like to remain the best at. I don't really care about some things, but if it's a sport (usually an extreme sport) that I love to do (like Judo/Karate) then I will have to be the best of the best. It's what I'm known for by those that know me. I'm known for what I'm good at, and that's physical achievements. My family tree is full of people that have been with the Army, so I suppose being the best of the best is kind of in my blood - but anyway - back to the subject. I have won quite alot for my age I think (age 14) - all of which is physical/sport based but the best one for me is the trophy I won for being the best in a Karate championship. That Rocked! Thanks for your time guys, Sean Webber.

Hi, I know it's a little bit of a wierd topic but I'm interested to find out were people live and what their surroundings are like. I live in Brixham, as small, beautiful fishing town in Torbay. Torbay is part of the English Riveria. We are the only part of Great Britain that can grow Palm Tree's the weather is that nice. I live in Devon, which is in the South West of England. We are surrounded by miles and miles of rolling, beautiful green hills and tranquil forests. I appreciate living were I do, and I wouldn't change it for the world. Does anyone else live in Torbay? Anyway, like I said, I'm interested to find out where everyone lives and what it's like. Thanks for your time, Sean Webber (Alive).

Your Fav Day Of The Week? Why? self explanatory
alive replied to BeyondEarth's topic in General Discussion
Hi Guys, Yep. that's right, I'm sticking with the majority now by saying that the best day of the week for me is Friday. I enjoy going to school that day because the lessons are easy and most importantly I can be with my mates. I also have my Karate class on Friday and it's to me the start of the weekend so yeah, my favourite day of the week is Friday. Thanks Guys, Sean Webber (Alive). -
Hi, There are three things that I can easily say make me go mad. I do not loose my temper but these things are the only things that will really make me mad:1) Being ignored - I can not stand being ignored out of pure ignorance. If somebody meant to do this to annoy me then it will certainly work because it drives me mad. It really makes my blood boil.2) Gangster - It depends how you want to cool these -(chavs/punks) but I'm sure you know who I am talking about. I really hate them, but I will never start on them without any reason, but does the same work in reply? No - of course it doesn't. Luckily, none of these guys have ever turned on me, because it would be the worse mistake of their lifes. I would use every move that I had ever learnt in every martial art that I know (and that's alot, you take my word for it) if anyone was to attack me then I would kill them on the spot. It is as simple as this. They strut around like they own the streets, thinking they are really hard, well - their not, they really, really are not hard atall. 3) US ARMY - No please respect my views here. I don't have anything against the army it's self, it's just certain aspects of the Us army that I can't stand - so if you are American and happen to like your army please forgive me. I don't like their Rambo style fighting techniques. They walk in like they can wipe everything out and the truth is that it just ends up with more casaulties. The British SAS (Special Air Service) are without a doubt the best special forces team in the world, but will the US NAVY SEALS listen? No. Well, this is just to set the records straight - when the SAS tried this German assault course they did it in 45 minutes, when the Seal's tried the same course it took them 1 hour 53 minutes! Now that's settled I think I can apologise for offending anyone. Well - there it is, those are the things that annoy me most. Thanks for taking the time to read it, Sean Webber (alive).

Yeah I know, I'm constantly being used as the go between. It kind of gets really annoying. I try and remain neutral, because both the mate and the girl are both very good friends of mine, but I am constantly getting caught in the middle of them. They seem to be arguing more and more. This girl has told me that she isn't interested, but this lad just will not give up. Thanks, Sean Webber.

Hi Guys, I know this is a little close to home but I was talking to a friend a day or two ago about this girl he really liked. Her couldn't work out why she didn't ever want to be more than just friends. The point is, some of the methods he had of trying to 'win her over' were a little weird. I was just wondering how you guys go about getting noticed. Cheers, Sean Webber. (Alive)

Hi, I have always had a bit of a temper to be honest, but I have never really lost it. Sometimes when I get really angry I can feel my self heating up inside, but I just walk off. The funny thing is that I never get angry outside of my home. In school or whatever it all goes over my head - it's only at home I easily get stressed. I was wondering how you guys calm down when you are really stressed. I personally will practice Karate or if not I will just go upstairs to my bedroom and look out the skylight at the views over my beautiful little town. How do you guys calm down? I've heard some really weird methods of calming down, all sorts of things so I was just wondering how you guys do it. Thanks for your time, Sean Webber.

Hi, I think it depends on what aspects of the school you mean, for example: I like the actual school building. The design is good and the technology is very modern, I like some of the teachers, and I enphisises the words some. I like most of the students and have lots of mates, I just hate the managment of the school, ie: the principal and managment team. Also, I wonder how many of you people that like your schools come from another country bar the UK. I seem to feel that must British kids aren't to kean on their schools were as alot of the USA kids seme to be quite happy with their schools. Thanks for your time, Sean Webber.

Hi, I think the best thing about school has to be being with my friends. School it's self I feel is in most cases (lessons) boring but I know that it is important and so I do my best. Being with my friends at break and lunch make it well worth while. Some of the closest friends I have I have met through school. And - of course - the girls. Some of the nicest babes you can imagine go to my school. That's the only reason I go to school really - friends and girls... (lol - mainly friends) . Thanks, Sean Webber.

Hi again, After I posted a reply to this topic a couple of days ago I started thinking about it. I don't mean quickly, but more spirtiually. That night I had Karate. Shotokan Karate is based on the principle of finnaly tuning your mind aswell as learning how to fight. I was relaxed and just simply forgot about it. It was only a day later that I realised what it was all about. I was at school and was playing tennis with a couple of mates. A close friend of mine (if you know what I mean...) female ofcourse came into the courts. It was when I saw her I started thinking again. Is the point in life to achieve some high payed job? Is the point in life to climb the worlds highest mountain? Is the point in life to help everyone that you can in everyway you can and be the best person you can? And then I started thinking well, maybe there is no point in life. Maybe it's just something we had to go through. I believe that their is only one soul purpose in life, and I think that that is to find someone that you love and to spend your time with them. Think about it, having lot's of money is a great feeling, but nothing beats love, nothing beats that feeling. So - that's what I think life is about, that and ofcourse having a good time - (Rock & Roll). Thanks for your time, Sean Webber.

Weird And Scariest Dreams what were yours like?
alive replied to Soul Dimension's topic in General Discussion
Hi, To be honest my dreams are a little strange. I only ever get nightmares when I have the flu or something, and that is not very often. It's the fact that I can't really remember the dream atall which is the worse point, because when can remember the dream then you can make sense of it, when you don't know what it was and you can only remember certain parts then it makes it really wierd. Mine is always something like a space rocket taking off, with all the wall around me getting further away and then shooting up close and a weird substance on the floor. It's all so weird and I can not remember what it is, but at the same time I know what it was like, I just can't describe it. It's really weird and quite scary to be honest. Thanks - Sean Webber (alive). -
Hi, To be honest I couldn't really care at all what God's people believe in or what they think of other people's Gods. I know what I believe in and I know that that is unique to me and no one else. I am not a Christian or a Muslim, and I do not go to church, but it doesn't mean that I don't believe in God. I believe what I believe and nothing else. I will let other people worship who they like, I don't like to stick my nose in. (Don't worry - I wasn't in a mood when I typed this - I was just tired). Thanks for your time, Sean. (Alive)

How To Handle Problems How to learn from problems and failures?
alive replied to ManOfSTEEL's topic in General Discussion
HI, I think your post was great. Alot of it was in my own opinion pretty true. I think the best way to handle a problem is to just simply grab it with both hands and beat it to death. What I mean is don't let it get away. If you let a lone enemy soldier escape then he will not be harmless on his own, but he will regroup and attack again with a whole army. The only way you can get rid of your problems is to face your problems. Thanks, Sean Webber (Alive). -
Hi, I've seen this soughts of things before. I don't know what to think of them. Sometimes it's just a fluke and others it's dead weird. I knew someone that guessed 10 cards in a row and got them all correct, and then put his hand just above a clock and stopped it. I know it's dead weird but it's kind of cool. I know that after practicing martial arts you kind of become very finely tuned mentally. I don't know how you did that one though - maybe you have the power ... (lol) Thanks, Sean Webber (Alive)

Hi, I'm 14 and catching me young. I'm training hard physically in the gym after school everynight and practicing a number of martial arts. I would like to become an engineer - possibly in the army if not on civi street. I have dreams of becoming some big buisness man - working in some multi-million pound buisness. I don't know what life has in store for me - I don't have any real aspirations to do anything so I might just let life take me on that main line train... I'm going to keep on training to the best of my physically ability and keep on working hard in school so that I have plenty of options open to me so that when that job that I know is right pops up I can jump on it. I also have dreams of settling down with a beautiful wife and having some kids in a nice big home somewere in USA (lol- ambitious I know seen as I life in UK) ... Thanks, Sean Webber (Alive).

Hi, I know what you mean man, it's the same in the UK. When your teacher asks you, or when your asks to by an employee or by an internet service what do you say? I just say that my name is Sean Webber and that I like to keep healthy and fit and that I practice a couple of martial arts, anything else would sort of be showing off I suppose, if you don't say anything then you appear to be a loner. It's just one of the orquid questions. Thanks for you time, Sean Webber (Alive).

Hi, If you can't take him to court then just ask him to change it. It may sound stupid but maybe if you tell him how hacked off you are he might change it? I dunno. If that fails then there is always a crowbar in the corner of your room (lol). Cheers. Sean Webber (Alive).

Hi, I personally can't go to sleep when I have about three hours left before I do something.I would have to try and relax. Donno. If it's nice outside then maybe sit outside under the stars (/sigh\) or you could just watch the TV or something. If your tired later then it doesn't matter too much. Just get this thing out of the way. Hang on for the day and then SLEEP the next evening. (LOL) Cheers Sean Webber (Alive).

Wow man, thats a pretty nasty story. Your lucky to come out with such a small injury. I think that the worst injury of my life had to be about four years ago when I was about ten. You see Brixham is an old fishing town. Most of the old trends still remain - you know - in certain places there is the old narrow roads. Well anyway, we have a very large and very very steep hill. It's concrete. Guess what? That's right. I was running down here one day and I tripped. Ouch. I took all the skin off my arms and bruised my face badly. I don't mean hair line cut, I mean deep deep. Anyway that's about as bad as it gets, which I suppose isn't too bad. I didn't go to the gp (doctor) or the hospital. It healed in a couple of weeks and that was that. Fourtunetly I didn't even collect a scar. Anyway thanks guys, Sean Webber (Alive).

My First Experience In Trap17's Forum The Plagiarism Scandal
alive replied to tripletriangle's topic in General Discussion
Hi, I own four websites all other the web and personally I think 'pagerism' or whatever it is is wrong. I get annoyed when peoplecopy the work that I spent ages preparing, but I don't know if it is the same case with you. I honestly don't know. I don't think it matters to be perfectly honest. Being as careful as I am online I read the TOS but it is at times a little confusing and becomes a problem working out if you are actually doing/ creating spam. It's been said I know, but it's worth it just writing good posts. That way you get the hard earned points and you get to meet the guys in the community. It's best I think if you post on the 'Real Life Experience' board seen as it is dead easy to field topics or reply, it's just your own opinion. Thanks. Sean Webber (alive). -
Hi, Although I do not do coding (infact - i run a martial arts website) I do know someone that does, or a company that does should I say. The company is Vusay, I don't know were they would stand or come to that, were you would stand but it's worth a shot. You can e-mail vusay at : vusay@hotmail.co.uk. They do have a website, but it's still under development, it's http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Vusay do lots of gaming with Darkbasic, a very complex and advanced gaming program. Alot of their work is very profeshional and pretty good. I don't know if they would be able to do this for you, but I think that they most probably would. Just give them an e-mail and see were it end up. Thanks, and I hope this helps, Sena Webber (alive).
