Wireless Electricity tranfer electricity without wires
onitenki replied to Reaper's topic in Science and Technology
yes but this theory is a bit impossible since whats generating the "power to reach it wirelessly" i did come across a similar theory but using the electricity grid as a internet source. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/71024102656.htm -
yes its free for those who share documents and such but majority of those who use bittorrents arent doing it for that. they are downloading music and programs that cost thos who make it millions if not billion of dollars a year. do everyone a favor and dont even use anything and just buy the cd in store. because regardless of how u look at it. its illegal.

it would be funny if there was a law where the webmaster MUST provide a html verison of the website and without the crazy of heavy graphics that could take up a lot of BW.i love it lynx. straight to the point without the hassle.

ugh. this never gets old. they ranged from transfering money to u, to ebay and even rent scams...its pretty much all the same where they send u a bigger amount then what u suppose to take. then send them the difference. *hence here is the part.* they sendu the check of the amount and u deposit it. its available the next day however, the check hasnt cleared yet.by the time u send it out and they recieve it you will get a negative plus a returned check fee for the check not being clear so u lose more money and plus some.

Fiber Optic Wired Houses Soon or not
onitenki replied to Veradesigns's topic in Science and Technology
installation is about 4 to 6 hours long so hope u have that big cup of coffee around. and they wont do it unless ur home. Nothing is unlimited when they say unlimited. some places that offer regular broadband cap at 25 to 50gb a month. so that not great if u are into big data transfer from unknown sources. i pay about 54.99 USD tax-free a month but if i hit my cap which i dont know exactly what it is. i expect to pay about 100 bucks. but no more then that. i feel like sometimes they are really misleading with the advertisements to get u set up. and god once they finished putting the groundwork to get u fiberoptic in ur neighbor hood. the door to door sales start ringing and persuading u to sign up with them. ur right it doesnt make a difference but it does matter if u are transfering from ur own network and not from isp. but then again it all depends on what kind of network u got setting up. -

Is Wikipedia Better Than Microsoft Encarta?
onitenki replied to fermin25's topic in Websites and Web Designing
the popularity of Wikipedia has obviously grown alot over the years it has been around. however many university strictly prohibt citing sources from them due to not accurate information and cant be used as a primary source like abby mentioned. however it could be the gateway to use reference links and incorporate them into student papers.it has interesting facts and great place to go if u need to read about things that you never even knew about. -

i seriously in my own opinion think this swine flu is just all BS. people overreact and panic as if its the one of the 7 seven deadly sins (is it 7?) or its the sign of the end of the world.can we just let this go and continue on with our miserable lives. i think we still have AIDS, HIV, HOV to cure dont we? and cancer? (rolls eyes)

but u do know what they say about old farts. they may be old but they come with weathly of knowledge. everyone has their taste and everyone has their opinion. u want to be flirtous the only reason why they lead u on and ditch for some other girl was because there was no development of the so called "relationship" or lack ther of. u simply just need to give them that u are into them and make sure they know that. u dont want to be really really flirtly since that just makes you look like ur desperate. but makign someone special goes a long way i guess.

Fiber Optic Wired Houses Soon or not
onitenki replied to Veradesigns's topic in Science and Technology
this already exist to FIOS which what i was mentioning. I have it in my current home. but what i believe he was mentioned is actually directly wiring your own home with fiber optic.new modern homebuilders are actually wiring there home to be completly wireless if not have a ethernet port in every room. his suggestion was to wire his home to be fiber optic to get a true speed of it. fiberoptic network provided by verizon wireless only goes from the telephone poles and gets translated from there to regular cable to the wireless fios router that verionz provide that you can then use ethernet. instead of using ethernet by using maybe changing the switch it could bring a faster speed. but what computer would be able to handle that kind of traffic of data streaming at the speed of light?
