  1. I guess it depends where you are from. This was an odd place to post your question. Maybe you would get more and quicker answers if you post this as a new post.
  2. Let remember that Playstation unseated Nintendo as the number 1 console. It had better sound due to its ability to play games on CD. Third party support for the Playstation was incredible, which resulted in one of the biggest library of game history.I actually eventually ported over PC since both the playstation and the N64 we lacking in the graphics department. For example, Tomb Raider looked awesome on the computer. Lara had rounded arms versus square polygons on the PS.In the end, if you look at how many really good games each system had, the nod had to go to PS. So thats who my vote goes to.
  3. I think Guitar Hero / Rock Band deserves its own sub section. I'm not really into these games, but the franchises are doing really well.I recently got to be a tester for Band Hero. Not into it at all. The music sucked in my opinion. The only cool thing was that your avatar for the xbox 360 is actually in the game. Avatar use in games is always cool.
  4. I agree with the previous poster, the colors seem a bit off. Use bold colors to emphasize importance not for decoration. Moving text over other text is just bothersome to the eyes. If you this is one of your first sites, its not bad at all. The best thing you can do is ask for advise and it seems like your going in the right direction.

    Xbox 2

I hope the reason your holding back isn't because of financial reasons. If you ever do decide to get on, your choices should be between the Xbox 360 and the PS3. If you're not into main stream games and just want to play so decent games with your friends and family, then get the Wii. I think the best deal right now is the Xbox 360, plus they are bringing things out soon that will change the way we all game forever.
  6. You might want to consider getting a gaming console. Most of the latest games are made for consoles. You'll never have to worry about upgrading until its time for the next console. I made the jump awhile ago and I haven't been disappointed or regretted it. I'd recommend the Xbox 360. The price is not bad and it has tons of games.
  7. I tried clicking on the calendar and it's asking me to log in which makes sense, but that page looks a little off. The user name and password text boxes all the way to the left versus centered. I know this is a quick fix and should give the look and feel a boost. I'll look at more when I can. Looks great overall.

    Xbox 2

Wow, I'm surprised it took you so long to get one. The Xbox 360 came out in 2005. Doesn't matter, better late than never. Welcome to the Xbox community. I didn't realize how nice Live was until my 360 too. I honestly believe its the best product the 360 has to offer. You've missed quite a few games, but you might be able to catch up. You might be able to get a lot of good deals on older games. I'm playing an oldie but goodie right now. Mass Effect. Its a great game and you might be able to pick up for under $30. Part 2 is coming out soon. Hope you enjoy the box as much as I do. Hit me up on Live if you'd like. I'm RebelXwins.
  9. The towel trick is usually a temporary fix. Basically what you are doing is overheating your xbox to the point that it resets. This still doesn't help the contact between the GPU and the motherboard. It could go weeks before you'll need to do the trick again, but inventially you'll need to do the trick over and over again. If you can't send it in to Microsoft, then you might want to fix it yourself. There are a few tutorials out there on how to do it. You'll need some tools and hardware. It's not easy the first time, but once you do it the first time, it gets easier. Let me know if you need help finding a tutorial. Good luck. Keep gaming!!!
  10. Anybody hear anything about the next Xbox? I think we're getting there soon. Maybe an announcement at next years E3. That might give it a 2011 realease date. Personally, I'm ready for the next box. Better graphics, sound and if its not too much to ask for, blu-ray.
  11. Even though this game is an RTS, it totally belongs in the Halo thread. The story and in-game movies adds to the Halo Universe. If you can pick this game up for $40 or less, I would recommend it for sure. Its a B game, but lot of fun if you can get your friends on it. My gamertag is RebelXwins, hit me up if you get the game.
  12. I suggest we make a Modern Warfare Game subforum. Inside of it, we can start posting about Modern Warfare 1 and Modern Warfare 2. Hope this is heard.
  13. Modern Warfare 2 dropped the Call of Duty to it. I think the reason behind it is because Infinity Ward, the developer, believed it can hold its own. The Call of Duty franchise will continue with other developers. Infinity Ward is the company behind Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2. Call of Duty 3 and 5 were not made by Infinity Ward.
  14. I saw someone playing this game. Not sure if that counts. I did ask him about it, and he said it was terribly addictive. I like hardcore games.
