  1. Sure. I am putting it together these days when i get the time. I am also getting inputs from my seniors who are in this buisness for quite a while and know almost everything about it so hopefully this would be a good resource for everyone interested in this.
  2. Well, finally a topic where I can pour my heart out on. I work a Tech Team Leader with a Solution Provider and have worked on establishing lots of call centers. So, the first thing that you need to is what is your call center targeted at. Though all the call centers are more or less have the same purpose, there are certain types of call centers that can be established. One is that you have a product that you need to give support and sales informations for and establish a call center for that or you are providing the same for some other company like rent a call center. The other is to provide offshore support that is all the support and sales that are generated from, for example lets say US and they are redirected to your country through Internet where the need for an ISP and bandwidth would be needed. If this is a local call center then only the Voice-E1/PRI lines would be enough and no bandwidth would be required. After getting the part cleared on what would be call center would be targeted at, comes the point in establishing the call center technical specifications. There are four very good options among which my company targets the first three. You can go for any of the listed companies and can also use some third-party software in conjunctions of the companies to keep the costs down-low. They are,1) Cisco - Good company with equipments directed to voice infrastructure and also has modular equipements where only additional modules would be needed to expand the infrastructure.2) Avaya - Very good company that targets only the voice infrastructure so Swiches and stuff would be needed from different companies to establish the infrastructure. Usually can be given the tag of giving a one-box solutions but for devloping an enterprise call center the Contact Center is really expensive and surpasses in costs when compared to Cisco.3) Asterisk - opensource and free to use. Offers modularity and scripting support and works on SIP which is a standardised protocol and is relatively cheaper when compared to other products.4) Nortel - Also a good company regarding establishing VOIP infrastructure but I don't really have any experience on working this companys devices since we don't deal in them.Once the infrastructure has been dealt with then comes the management of it, reporting structure, optimization and stuff that related to it.All the call center representative need to be monitored and reports to be generated so as to optimize their calls and use the best practices and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for better performance.Floor managers are needed who have Team leaders and Managers who deal with all of reporting lines.I tried to included all that was needed generally speaking but like BuffaloHelp said, Input is needed from your side that explains what you have in mind so further help could be provided.I am planning on writing a whiole topic in designing, the when, how and do's and don't of a call center so watch out for it, it could provide some help to you.
  3. Lol.. the first here too eh. Thanks for the welcome. Unlike other pfft. ;) you were kind enough to leave one :D

  4. I have used Oakley a while back and they were very good sunglasses. I never really heard the name of Wiley so Oakley were the only brand that was good enough but I didn't really go for all the high tech stuff but just ordered the normal sunglasses a couple of years back.Too bad they got sat on and on of the glasses broke off. Now that they are not that into fashion, I never bothered to replace it. Either way it was a gift from a friend so wasn't realy that painfull for me that they broke since I was using it for years :PEDIT: By the way Saint M, you were or are in the military? Which one? I would love to heard your experiences during your tenure if you have any if you have time. Even so you are commonly related to SPAM so I doubt that would be a problem for you
  5. Well, like you said, bandwidth costs money but using these type of strategies to force people to buy the premium account when the website gets popular, to me is not that good. Looking from the prespective of a buisness owner, I think it was high time they did that. With the economy having major issues and the stock market point going down, this what I would've done inorder to compete with the recession thats going on around the world. As far as my personal opinion about megaupload goes, I did use it quite a while back but when I found that most of the stuff that I needed was hosted on megaupload, had mirrors on Rapidshare and much more other things on Rapidshare, I ended up buying a one (1) year Rapidshare Premium Account and believe me, they are worth every penny with all the stuff they have. I never regretted buying that account.
  6. I was not a techie in all the requirements that were needed on the hosting company back when I was in my teens triying to practice opening forums and all but judging by what the people have mentioned above, this seems to be something that is mandatory on the servers inorder to start a forum. Me and my friend had used a free host of which we didn't really get a good experience out of. Don't really remember it's but there was another which was CFH (Completely Free Hosting) was crap as the name sounds and none gave what Xisto ofference. Seamless uptime and awesome support. I would definately say that recommend all the people here to save their time and increase the community strength. Offtopic: There was one thing that really bugs me though. Time and again I have read about people saying that Xisto/Xisto is THE best host ever and I have used different hosts and paid hosting but always end up comnig back here. I don't really understand, why the people leave here in the first place. I mean this is THE best and offers everything like paid hosting does so why leave.
  7. The only experience I have from Xisto is from this sister site Xisto, where my friend Soby registered an account here after looking here and there for free hosting solutions and never finding one for himself. I was with him in making up the website and forums and believe me, all the little time that we spent on the forums and the hosting, We never really had any problems with it and never felt that we are using a free hosting solution rather than a paid one. The support for technologies and the updated cPanel they had was something even most of the paid ones are not offering. Though we had a problem with the hosting not supporting Microsoft.net framework 2.0 or later and Crystal Reports because they are running the hosting server on Linux but apart from that, I have found them to be top notch in all the aspects. Now that I need a hosting space of my own, I hope that I find the same level of performance and support from Xisto as before. Long live Xisto and Xisto. You guys are the best.
  8. WOO! Your first comment!

    Welcome to the Trap!

  9. err.. most of the time when I was allowed to watch movies, they would be the one that are either rated for kids or at max PG-13 that wouldn't be having any of those scenes. Either way we have this silent agreement among that when anything that really comes of any sort like kissing or anything like that even, the channel mostly is changed and not many really say anything about it.Now that I have my laptop with me, I usually watch the movie on it. aXXo FTW and don't really have to worry about watching anything obsence with my parent for that matter.
  10. I have to agree with bila that beauty really doesn't have certain qualitative aspects. They are only what they seem to the person who is looking. Though most of the people will have different choices but I would choose angelina jolie becuase she IS hot and her lips.. maan ...
  11. It's true that money can change a person and his priorities. If I ever get 10 Million dollars then at first I will be thinking of investing the money somewhere so atleast I have a continuous amount generated and I don't really run out of money becuase no matter how much the amount it, it will eventually run out. Then I would be taking a long leave and start planning vacations with my family and other things that are in plan but are usually put on hold due to monetary matters. Helping others would be a top priority and starting a business of my own would be something that I would also be thinking along the lines of.
  12. There is an old saying that what really spoils friendships are three things be it in brothers, best friends or family. They are Women, Money and Land (as in real estate houses and stuff). Disputes like these are really hard when it comes to friendship. Then again I have two friends who started a business on their own and are working pretty well. If you have your priorities cleared and are rational enough to make decisions then these things don't really matter and if successful deals or decisions are made with those three things then the relation is really strenghtned up.I would have to agree with ronin that when you are together with someone for prolonged period then the bad aspects of the friends start to show up a true friend is who accepts the friend with all the good and bad qualities.
  13. Initially there are reasons why minors are prohibitted to drink. There is level of maturity that comes with age and thats why minors are not allowed to drink. But either way there are long term effect when the person drink for a prolonged period. To me 15 years is too low of an age to start drinking. But then again, in Scotland the and other places drinking ages are very low so can't really say anything about it if you are from there. To me people should not drink, you put yourself at too much of a risk doing that. drink and drive. being addictive to drinking and other things.
  14. Congrats to all of you for winning though it seems that Saint Michael really pwn'd all of the people in most of the categories.Best of all Congratulations to me and all the Xisto members Yaayy...!!!11!!eleven!!1! We won..
  15. I was looking for some free hosting solutions and was using one that was so crappy that I had to start looking else where. I was basically avoiding the ones where I have to earn my hosting like posting and stuff because that really seems a little shady when you post on the forums and they will give awesome packages and also to top it all, advertisement free because I coundn't really see the point where they company would be generating income from.I was so pissed at the one I was using and started to search for other options and it was then I found Xisto and looking into this it did seem like a really good deal to me. By coincidence, my friend was also using it way before and recommended it to me. Seeing the reviews this hosting company is getting really make my faith get more stronger.
