I wonder of any of you guys have heard of Chikka. My wife and I use it all the time and it's freeware. It sends text messages to mobile phones to almost all parts of the world now.....for free.

Thanks guys. It didn't occur to me that I was the only one that can see my warnings. It seems to take up so much space that I thought it may be better placed somewhere else , like in our own personal profile page.

It's a wonder why the bomb has not been banned after seeing the above pics. There should be a world wide revolution to ban the bomb.

Looks better now. You could still scale it down a bit more and try and get rid of the white surround around the shadow.

My computer case seems to be pretty good but I can't tell if it's running hotter than it should. All I know that when it gets over about 27 C a second fan kicks in and is quite noisy. When this happens I either put on the A/C or switch off my PC till the weather cools off a bit.

well Vyoma........I don't have the ability to learn GIMP. Anyhow I don't want to because it would give me a headache. It sounds like I'm missing out on something good but that is my limitations and I recognize them. Oh well, I have photoshop CS2 and that is hard enough for me.

Vyoma Thanks for showing the clear outline of my Angel. I'm sorry I don't have any intermediate shots of the angel because it all came about quickly by accident using filters ........usually I save images from start to finish and have at least saved about 20 progressions along the way to completion. I'm sure the others could see the angel as well and were only making fun of my art. I can see you taste for art is in realism as I saw quite a fair bit of your art at your DeviantArt page. Picasso first started off in a similar style to yours eg; realism or whatever it's called and he quickly changed to abstract and became the master of it and all styles. Maybe you need to see really good abstract works to get to understand and start to appreciate it. I reckon abstract is able to express more than any other styles of art, if it's professionally done. I don't know how I go into abstract but I have and I'll continue to do so. .....and thanks for the tips on GIMP. and just to keep with the flow........here is a painting I just did called 'Caught in the Rain'. It's a mixture of cubism and abstract. I love this one so I'll post it up now. I had to put it up almost full sized so you could see the rain drops.

Well I installed GIMP and had a quick look at it and was turned off straight away because it had a cluttered work space. It may be OK for you because you have a wide screen monitor but for me I like to stick to the square screened monitors and so Photoshop for me is unbeatable. I don't know, maybe in a couple of years time I may get a wide screen monitor.Thanks for your feedback all the same. I'll go over to DA and check out your art work now.

I noticed that you had Saint Michael on your signatures. Is that Saint Michael the Archangel or something else?

I have always wanted to do a digital painting of my guardian angel but I have not been able to do it till now. I like how my angel is poised , ready to help me, leaning over and watching that I don't get in harms way.

Thanks xpress..... I installed the WebMail Notifier extension in FireFox to login automatically without going throuhg the login page. I set it up. Now all I have to do is see if it works. and I'll check out the Accessing GMail in Outlook Express link later.

Is it possible to get GMail to work with Outlook express?And is there a way to go straight to my GMail without going through the 'Log in page' then the 'I'm ready - show me my account Page?'I use Firefox.Thanks

You did a very good job. What software did you use to do that artwork?
