  1. Personally I use the free css templates over at https://templated.co/ a fair bit and they are quite good with lot of flair. Perfect for the beginner too.
  2. Break ups are hard and sometimes you just need a song that perfectly conveys how you feel at that time. Lets get a list of some break up songs going. My list for the saddest:3 doors down - Here without youRascall Flatts - What hurts the most (The slow cascada version is also good)Toni Braxton - Unbreak my heartWhat songs really speak to you?
  3. Jesus Christ! I really can't believe they sold licenses for that long! Can't even believe they still gave support up until 2001.Still kinda sad really, I'll always remember Windows 3.1 with fond memories.
  4. So I broke up with this girl about six months ago. We had only been together for a year but I have had far longer relationships than that before and none of them even compared to what I shared with this girl. I think it was the deepest love I have ever felt to be honest. Eventually we began fighting and had a couple of breaks until finally we broke up for good.I was totally devastated by this and had never been so low in my entire life... it took a long time to happen but slowly and surely I one by one picked up the tiny pieces of my life and got myself back together. I finally can function again which is fantastic. I don't sit there reminiscing or getting sentimental, I can go days without even giving the whole thing a thought and even when I finally do the thought leaves my mind as quickly as it entered. But the only problem is she still seems to pop up in my dreams. Sometimes it's reminiscing, sometimes it's dreaming about what we could have done in the future had things been different. Last night though was the worst one yet, I ran into her and we instantly acted bitter and spiteful to each other for what had happened and the hurt feelings we had both caused until eventually we had this moment where we realised we both, behind all that loved each other like crazy still and there was this moment of looking into each others eyes that instantly brought back a rush of all this emotion and for a second there I felt like it was really real. Then I woke up.Aargh I had the subconscious mind, during the day you can avoid thinking about stuff but your dreams you just can't control.
  5. It's alright but nothing special. In terms of the design it's a pretty typical theme that doesn't really stand out much. The domain isn't too crash hot either. Some of the content and information might be helpful though.
  6. I started drinking with I was 14 and I must say I did it excessively and it did fry my brain a little but overall I am still fine today. I think it's really up to each individual person to decide when they are ready to start drinking - but honesty, moderation is the key. Also make sure you know why you are drinking, if it's to be social and have some fun then sure but if it's to escape something else or run away from certain feelings then maybe you need to tackle those aspects of your life instead of covering them up with alcohol.
  7. No I'm completely lazy and wouldn't want stairs just for the extra energy it would make me exert.
  8. Hey everyone.I'm hertonsils, I'm 20 years old and from Australia. I'm currently a student at university studying a batchelor of business and in my spare time I enjoy web design and creating and running various websites.I'm also a movie buff, music lover and love having drinks and hang out with with my amazing group of friends. It's nice to find this forum and I look forward to meeting many of you in the future.
  9. I rememvber mine was an old school IBM running Windows 3.1. I used to love that thing, amazing to think how far computers have come now.
  10. Yeah I would be pretty annoyed if I was the husband but I don't really think that the employees should go to jail over this. Try to remember that this IS McDonalds, there are a bunch of young teenagers working there and like it or not kids will be kids.I feel sorry for the husband but I have to say I can see the funny side to this.
  11. Oh my freaking god that is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe that anybody could ever live in that kind of situation. Eurgh. At least I can show my parents these photos next time they complain about the state of my apartment.
  12. Yeah I agree... examine and work out who the person is and then let them face the music. This is a really sucky situation for you to be in but just make sure you keep your cool and don't back down. It's not right for someone to be able to do something like this and whilst it shouldn't be your job it really is in your best interest to catch the culprit.
  13. To be honest there could be many reasons but the most obvious one does sound to me like she is feeling a bit smothered. I think it would be in your best interest to just back off a bit, maybe play the "uninterested" card and she might get curious as to why and suddenly the tables will be turned and she is the one wanting to talk to you.It might be hard but take yourself away from the computer for a bit so you resist the temptation to speak to her, go find something else to do to take your mind off her... after a few days of not being on she is bound to wonder where you've been.Good luck with it and hope it works out for you.
  14. I highly doubt that anyone could beat Google in terms of the search engine market. Google has a massive monopoly over this market and they are only growing stronger and stronger.Google has spent a lot of time implemented processes and improving their engine to prove to people that they are both the fastest search engine but also deliver the most relevant results - and nine times out of ten they do.
  15. I have to say I love Google Chrome but I'm sticking with Mozilla Firefox (at least for now). Chrome is fast as hell and looks dead sexy but it still is in beta and I'm not really a believer in converting until the full stable release. Plus I have several firefox plug ins that I use on a daily basis that would not be compatible with chrome. I might convert eventually, just not at the moment.
  16. Some people just have a hard time believing that in this day and age it's impossible to get something for nothing. Thank you Xisto for proving them wrong
  17. It's a little bit bland if you ask me. The header isn't too striking and there is little variation in color. The content seems good and well written though.
  18. I'll be honest and say I don't like it very much. I think it isn't at all visually appealing, the colors are not only hard to read but hard to look at (Your text is some weird vomit color?)I don't think the website makes it clear enough what it is about and if fails to make any lasting impression of professionalism on me.I'm sorry but it needs more work, but keep at it
  19. I love coldplay for sure! I have there best of album and they are musical geniuses. Very powerful, emotionally stirring music. I particularly like "Fix You".
  20. Haha yeah I sleep naked sometimes it's so much more comfortable... especially when you have company
  21. My two favorite sites for killing boredom are:OneMoreLevel.com - A new flash game everyday. Only good ones are put up so you don't have to sift through the crap.ImInLikeWithYou.com - Very addictive and fun multiplayer flash games. I particularly like DrawMyThing, Be prepared to waste hours on this one!
  22. I own the Playstation 2, the Nintendo 64 and really want to get a XBOX 360 soon so I can get oblivion and kick my friends *bottom* at Halo.
  23. A three way toss up between:Singstar - This is the best, most fun social game I have ever played. Nothing like having a few drinks with some friends or going to a party and embarassing yourself to the tune of "What about me?" by Shannon Noll.Guitar Hero - Absolutely ridiculously addictive. I swear I have sat there for hours just pumping out song after song and I still can't get enough of this awesome game.Grand Theft Auto Series - Love it! This was the first game of it's kind and whilst there are now many imitations (ie. Saints Row) I think it is still by far the best.
  24. I have to say I am not really a very big fan of the WII. I dislike the controller and it just doesn't sit right with me. I am however in love with the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube (even years later) and would probably put the Nintendo 64 down as my favorite console ever (Nintendo or otherwise). It had so many awesome games and really revolutionized what a gaming console should be. How could you not love games like Zelda Ocarina of time and Goldeneye 007?
