I have friends that are various ages, but in terms of the people that I hang out with, I'm the youngest of the bunch and everyone is 2-6 years older than I am. I don't think this is a problem; they are simply the people I like to be around. There's no age limit on friendship, but a general indicator for being able to hang out without a creepiness factor probably tops out around 5 years. (Unless you're older, in which case, this might stretch to 7 or 10.)

But for people who don't really know what they're doing, the learning curve on photo editing in general is kind of a b*tch.

And this is non-Global Warming because? You said that carbon dioxide is one of the weaker greenhouses gases. This does not mean that it has no effect.

They named this thing the Pixon. You know what that means? It means this is not a phone with a camera. It is a camera with a phone.

Free Sms - Mozilla Firefox Addon How to send free SMS

This appears to only work in certain countries.. luck of the draw, I suppose. -
I use Thunderbird, but it was downloaded from my school's IT, so it comes with a config executable that puts together all the settings, so I didn't need to change anything. This also means that I don't know how to solve your problem, but it is doable, because when I launch the program, it asks for a password..

Steamed Beef With Chinese Cabbage Healthy
HDuffRules replied to bishoujo's topic in Health & Fitness
This sounds yummy, although a bit complicated. An alternative solution is to steam the cabbage, then stir-fry the meat (which won't involve marination, 'cause you can add the sauces and stuff at the end) and then towards the end adding the cabbage to the meat and mixing it a little bit. -
slightly off topic.. Windows is written in C, right?

The Da Vinci Code Duscussion about the book
HDuffRules replied to 100janovski's topic in General Discussion
The book was fun, interesting, but not much more. It was a good read, but nothing terribly life-changing... And I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the Bible is the most-read book in the world... -

Movie Review - Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen
HDuffRules replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
Well... PG-13 isn't saying much. Its not like that many kids under 12 are going to the movies without their parents anyway, and I don't know any parent who wouldn't let their 6-year-old see TRANSFORMERS2 just because of the rating. This was the first 2+ hours movie that I have watched without checking my watch at some point in the middle. Yes, there is talking, there is dialogue, but its not boring 'cause its all fairly important to the plot. The action is good, its fast, its dramatic, and its big. This was expected. It was delivered. However, I disagree with Saint_Michael's opinion on the roommate, Sam's mom, and Megan Fox. These characters are in place to provide a measure of comic relief. Without them, the movie is just robots beating each other up, and although this is cool, it very quickly becomes numbing if there is nothing to release the pressure at least once in a while. As for Megan, her job in this movie is to be hot, and I don't really see how it was overdone. Don't tell me you didn't laugh at the Wheelie scene. (Okay, fine, you can tell me that, but I probably won't believe you.) Overall, I thought it was a great film. I didn't expect anything from it, and I had a good time, which is all that's important, really. I wasn't bothered by any of the things mentioned in the OP, but then again I'm 18 and male, which puts me pretty squarely in the middle of the target demographic. -
I used to use Azureus, but its a fat and leaky memory hog and it really slows to a crawl if you leave it on too long, which is a problem when downloading large files. I use Transmission now, and its great. I don't really care much for details, as long as I get the file, so the lighter interface is great. On my windows partition, I do use microtorrent, but that's sort of only because its the only client that works well on that side...

What's The Difference Betwen Nvidia Geforce 6200 And 5200?
HDuffRules replied to TiGrE's topic in Hardware Workshop
More recent games are much more demanding in terms of graphics displays. I suspect nothing is wrong with your card, it is just outmached by the demand that the game places upon it. My computer is only about a year and a half old, I have a GeForce 8600, and it chokes up sometimes while playing Unreal. -
I'm going to come to your house and kick your dog. Let's see you deny that. How do you deny global warming? Global warming says that average temperatures are rising, which they are. The "caused by carbon dioxide" part is secondary, and I tend to ignore it. Oh and that giant ice shelf that fell off of Antarctica after sitting there for eons simply decided it was a good time to go. Yes, global climate undergoes cycles of warming and cooling, and yes, maybe this is a passing cycle. But humans certainly aren't helping. The greenhouse effect isn't a theory. Where there is no atmosphere, there is no heat retention. This is why Mars is cold at night, and Venus is unbearably hot. When you add more atmosphere, heat retention increases. And guess what we're doing now? We're adding more atmosphere! But climate change is something we should be concerned with. According to Daniel Schrag, Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University, if we f*ck up, we're gonna end up with a snowball of an Earth.

Frustration :s with ImageFilez
HDuffRules replied to Fractured.Logic's topic in Websites and Web Designing
What is the motivation behind getting dedicated image hosting to hotlink for your website? Why is it bad to just put the images in the space that Xisto gives? -
I saw the second Transformers at the premiere last night. Typical Michael Bay film. Don't go to it looking for substance, 'cause there isn't any. Its a fun movie to see, simply because there are big explosions and talking robots. Its getting totally raked by critics for not being deep, but whatever.. it wasn't supposed to be.A couple days before that I saw The Hangover, and I'm not going to lie, it was probably one of the better comedies I've seen in a while. It was a little dirty though, learn when to look away :(So. Who's excited for Harry Potter next month?

How Do You Get Someone To Love You?
HDuffRules replied to Global's topic in Dating And Relationships
This. It will happen eventually, as long as you're not the world's biggest jerk. Be nice to people, make people happy around you. This increases your interactions with others, and will give you a deeper understanding of human nature as well as provide more opportunities for relationships to develop. -
Donald Trump is rough towards the people he works with for 2 reasons. 1. Because he can. 2. Because it gets the job done. He is not a jerk because his money allows him to be; his personality would be the same without his fortune. Regardless of his personality, he is a reliable businessman, and that, ultimately, is why he is rich.
