I dislike watching films of books I know. Mostly because I know that if I do watch them that I will start complaining when parts are missed out, or bits are changed (you should have heard me when I first watched the first Harry Potter film ) I also know that the film would probably annoy my own perspective of the book that it originated from, which is something I also try to avoid.Likewise I try to avoid the book that films (or tv series) is based on because all I see is the show/film characters playing the roles, which can sometimes distort the descriptions of the events in the book.

I agree with Daft. I used to play the game, but I just didn't like how people higher than you would attack you, rather than someone their own leve.

I definitely didn't like the movie, but I enjoyed the book, even though it's not my usual type of book to go for. I would really recommend it to anyone.

I was 12 when it happened.I had just passed my cycling test at school (all that work to get a certificate to say that I could ride a bicycle properly)The very next day, I was riding up to my grandparents when the tyre banged against a rock and I went over the handlebars.My grandparents place wasn't well known to be flat and my right knee and elbow were cur and stones went under the skin. If that wasn't bad enough, I was horsing around with my sisters a couple of weeks later and I ran down a slope, and my fppt was caught in a hole, twisting my ankle (and the impact reopened the wound on my elbow from the previous week)I was an accident prone kid when I was younger... wasn't I?

I really really don't like Simcities Society, it was a waste of my money.As csp pointed out EA ruined the games. I would love to see some of the older Simcities games.

I would say Nokias would be your best choice out of your options.However I use a Blackberry 8100, which helps me out. I have been looking at HTC Touch and Touch Diamond and the iPhone though, all look good for the next time that I resign my contract for various reasons.

Things like this will always get better. Your ex-friend will realise what she is like himself, and no doubt people will take her side over his when they break up too. As those above myself has said, you are better off without them, and those that took her side. You will find those more worthy of you love and attention so don't give up!

I agree with Butterfly.15 still means that they knew what they were doing. They could still have stopped it from happening. There is no need for them to rape a 13 year old.Your girlfriend will likely not want to be rushed into things, after all her last experience, or her first experience was quite traumatic for her. She wouldn't want that to be repeated. Just be there for her, and she will get over that experience with your love and care. She won't forget, but she will learn that not all guys are like that pair.

It's certainly interesting. It's also a little annoying at times, but it is a new take on the gengre of games.

I rarely cheat now, even though I did when I was younger. Cheating makes me feel bad now that I look back.The worst I go for now is a walkthrough for a particularly tricky area on a console game. I'm an honest person by nature, so its something that I would never do if it involved another person's enjoyment.

Last book I read was a reread of the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffery and her son Todd. I have a habit of of reading a decent series until I'm on my third copy of the book. I have also started to read Tamora Pierce's books, which I loved reading when I was younger too.

When I was younger, and just started High School (probably your junior high as I'm in the UK) I had a number of friends.There will always be those people that fall out with you and leave your group, but more will still be there. There are always ways to tell true friends from those out of convenience. Sarah and Jenny both was close friends, and then they broke off each to a different group. I then became friends with Frances and Susan. Now I'm friends with neither of them, but we were close for a very long time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that nothing will ever be certain, but with a little more experience you will be able to see when friendships start to sour.

I don't know much about the statistic side, but I know that there was very few in the vet practice I once worked at as a student. Once of the more common injuries was breaks and illnesses was pyometras that I saw.

Has anyone had/done a tarot reading that was extremely accurate? I once did a reading for myself, that was full of warnings against what I was doing and that I would be hurt because of it, and it came true in the nastiest sense.I also did a reading for one of my friends, and I could tell that he was having issues with one of his other friends. I've had various dreams in which different languages were spoken. Mostly it was Japanese, but there was some in India and a couple in one of the Arab countries. I don't know which. As previous posters said, it's really weird because I understand every word spoken...
