  1. So Michael Jackson has been declared not guilty in his latest trial and he is free. I personally think he was guilty since so many similar charges have been brought up against him. I think MJ is just a plain freak from the way he looks, to his attitude, he is just sick. I don't care how famous he is or was, he should have gone to jail. Anyways, many reporters are saying that he is bankrupt anyways and that he owes about 130 mil so we are probably going to see him back in court pretty soon. We'll, just wanted to let you guys know and put in my 2 cents on the story. So, what do your think of MJ going free?
  2. So the NBA finals are here again and this time is the San Antonio Spurs against the Detroit Pistons. I am almost sure that the Spurs are going to win the title again this year since they have managed to become a great team and although they don't have many star players they manage to work well together both defensively and offensively. I have been a Spurs fan for quite a while especially since I lived in San Antonio for 5 years and I had the opportunity to watch many games, and I saw the Spurs become a great team since 1999. I think that Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan have become the driving force of the Spurs and they have managed to keep a consistent winning team. Too bad that David Robinson retired since he was also a great player in the team. We'll just wanted to know what you people thought of the NBA finals and if there are other Spurs fans out there.
  3. You should probably take a look at this forum were we discussed a lot of things about Cafepress http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?sho86&hl=cafepress
  4. I have been using paypal for some time now and haven't encountered any problems yet. I also haven't had any payment transfering money form my bank account to my paypal account and using it to buy stuff on ebay. However, I understand your fear of opening up an account with paypal and giving out all your info, but it is practically the same as having online banking. So you need to monitor your transactions and your statements closely to check that the info that appears in your statement is correct. Good luck
  5. It appears that Apple plans to use Intel chips instead of PowerPC chips in its new computers. This could prove to be a very risky move by the company since all the programs and software would have to be changed to work with the new computers using Intel and those left with the old PowerPC apples are not going to be very happy. It's going to be interesting to see how the hardcore Mac users are going to react to this move by Apple and many are probably going to leave Apple for good. I am just glad I am not a Mac user or else this move would prove to be a very big headache in the near future. You can find the article at: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  6. Well I would probably recommend that you get to know some people or friends that are willing to help you out. In my experience when you are in foreign country, the best way to get to know the customs and your way around is by hanging out with the locals and you will learn a lot from them. Also the language is kind of hard to pick up, especially since it is nothing like italian. You should probably consider taking some classes or picking up a few books. In the meantime just try to hang in there and you will probably get the hang of things in no time. ciao
  7. It just amazes me how in the world a cop could ticket a chicken. I guess it must be something they do down in Ridgecrest. I would imagine the cop walking proud and telling everybody in the precint that he gave a ticket to a chicken. I would also imagine that the DA might have been a little disappointed to lose the battle of the chicken ticket in court.
  8. Yeah, I have played Minesweeper and I am always trying to break my previous record. I used to play it a lot to get a break when I was doing papers back in school since it was one of the only games available on the school computers.
  9. Oh man, that is a most excellent tip you put in here. Sometimes I spent days looking for a font that I liked but now I know how to find them fast. This website will prove to be a great resource to me. Thanks.
  10. Mate, what you need to do is to relax a little bit, there are a lot of things that set people off, but most of the time you can't really do anything about it so it's best to just ignore them and you'll save yourself from dying of a serious heart attack. But yeah, I guess I can relate to you, sometimes you just feel like you hate everyone and everything. Just the other day I was in a plane and we were about to take off and some dude was still talking on his cell phone in the seat behind me. I just pissed me off that he didn't hear the safety briefing were they say you can't use a cell phone after the plane has shut the door. I just took a long look at the guy yapping on the phone and told him to turn it off or he might get us all killed. It was then that I realized that the world is full of damn idiots like this one so is best not to get to upset about it or it would just eat you up.
  11. Hmm...Can i get a two prints of this photo, a copy of that new song from Rob Thomas...and....oh yeah a big Mac to go. It seems that the new corporate suits from Mcds are trying to expand the business, they are just not satisfied with just having a restaurant in every corner of the globe. Still, it would be funny to watch people hacking and burning mp3 from MAc all while eating a happy meal.
  12. Working door to door is just asking for trouble. Who knows what sicko will open the door to you.
  13. This is just terrible. They should have tried to help out the victims in a better way and admitted their guilt sooner instead of trying to deny the charges. Let's just hope that they never make a mistake like this one again.
  14. We use mostly dell computers and servers in the office and so far they have worked out pretty good. They are a few IBM and Toshiba laptops as well but both of them have proven to be very difficult to work with and they have constant problems. So I would say that I am very happy with the products that Dell is offering and the support that they provide.
  15. I am happy with my Hyundai Terracan. Its quiet, fully loaded, it has 4wd and its a comfortable ride. What more can you really ask for.
  16. I am terribly sorry to hear about your loss wassie. I also had a good friend of mine who died in a terrible car crash. It is then that you realize just how fragile our lives are, and that you can die at any moment. This is why we shouldn't take anything for granted and always tell our loved ones how much we love them. As for dealing with the grief I can tell you that there is not really a way to deal with it, but as the time goes by you learn how to manage it. Just try to remember all the good times you and your friend had and how much his company meant. Take care then, Rattler108
  17. Very insightful story Buffalo. Back in college, one of the guys that lived in my dorm was well known for getting bootlegged copies of movies that where not even out in theaters. Now I know how he was getting them.
  18. I would have to say that Mambo is one of the best content management portals out there. However, since there are so many you need to figure out which system best suits your needs. Take the advise that the other members have given you and try them all before you decide on one in particular. You should also look at the administration part of each one to figure out which one is the easiest to manage. Good luck
  19. So let me ask you ppl, are u ready for the new episode of star wars? I couldn't manage to get any tickets for the opening this Wednesday, but I did manage to score some for Thursday. Fox has been running a marathon of the previous Star Wars Episodes so I watched a few to get back with the Force. Anyways, I just want to know who else is hyped up and is going to see this movie. Watch the final episode you must...Laters
  20. This morning as I was sitting in my office I got this deja vu and it was as if I had already lived the moment that I was experiencing. However, this is not the first time it happens. In fact, I have experienced many of them in my life time and I always wonder what causes this phenomena in our brain. Is it that we are experiencing a moment that we have forseen or is it just our brain not processing the info fast enough and so it feels as if we are remembering something that we are experiencing at that very moment?Whatever the answer maybe, I am still amazed at the strange feeling that comes over you everytime you experience a deja vu. For a brief moment you question your senses, time, destiny, and life itself. It is a very elusive and mystical experience that always gets me thinking. Or maybe its just a big glitch in the Matrix....hahahaha. Just kidding. Feel free to share your experiences about Deja Vu.
  21. Dreamweaver is by far the best html editor in this list. The functionality that Dreamweaver provides is unparallel and it also intagrates very well with the rest of the Macromedia software. I have the Macromedia Studio and so far I have been happy developing and editing sites using this great tool. Dreamweaver also provides its own FTP so you can upload your files right away after you have finished editing.
  22. Great game...you are right it is pretty addictive, you also have to be a very fast typist or you are doomed even if you know the answer.
  23. I lived in Texas for 5 years and I thought it was great, but if I have to choose I would say Florida. The weather and the beaches are just perfect there and it never gets too cold.
  24. Yeah, I believe it is a great free tool for .NET developers. I just downloaded it recently but I was wondering if you had trouble activating this product because so far I have been unable to do so. I keep getting an error in the activation page and it says it is unable to send the e-mail with the activation code.
  25. As a recent college grad I can tell you that college is da bomb and you will miss it like crazy once you graduate. However, in order to survive college you need to learn how to manage your time and to balance your life and priorities. College gives you the opportunity to learn, make friends, join organizations, and of course...party. But you have to figure out how to manage your time and dedicate yourself to the stuff that really matters. Studying is really important and so is going to class...(although I ditched a few...they were always on the subjects I knew best). The truth is that if you go to class and don't fall asleep during lectures, then believe me you will have nothing to fear when exam time comes. Going to tutoring sessions and partnering up with classmates is a great way to get through the toughest courses. You should also try to make a well balanced class schedule with both tough and easy courses so you won't be too stressed out. For those of you worring about costs and expenses I can tell you that there are many ways in which you can get financing and loans. It was more difficult for me since I was an international student in the U.S. but I manage to get several scholarships and a job to pay my way through college. I was even able to afford my own car on my junior year (of course paying for car insurance was a real *BLEEP*). Anyways, if any of you want more tips or have any questions about college I would be happy to help out.
