  1. Well, I have 2 gmail accounts... one is pure mail (around 20mb...) the other one is used as storage space (I mean, one giga for free!!!!), and in couple of days, I uploaded there ALL my mailbox (talking about years and years of mail - work backup mail included - and that's A LOT!) and I'm currently running on 700mb more or less... so i think that they have all that space for their clients, but i'm also sure that whenever people will start exploiting this chance... well, goodbye gmail! Too expensive to manage, as simple as that. No wonder they are now trying whatever move passes throught heir mind to increase market share... web accelerator, google toolbar, personalized startpage... first step towaards downhill, that's my best shot. That's why I have a dvd backup of all my things... he he he
  2. This could have been very sweet, if only I didn't get this funny message:Thank you for yourinterest in Google Web Accelerator. We have currently reached ourmaximum capacity of users andare actively working to increasethe number of users we can supportMan!!!
  3. He He He.... nice trick! That's how they have beaten me last times
  4. I would pair Google and Yahoo as best ones... quite strange though that they DON'T show the same pages... I don't know if u guys ever tried this experience. Search something with Google, then search the same string with Yahoo and see the results. Often Yahoo grabs pages that Google slides over, and vice versa... quite annoying sometimes!
  5. I've been using Win2k for quite some time, then I switched to xp pro, now I'm back to 2k... Don't know, seems qiute more stable than xp (tends to crash a smaller number of times), even though xp looks much better (using for all the fancy graphics a considerable amount of RAM... don't forget it!).Sure I enjoy it, but i think i'll stick to 2k... until i learn how to use linux properly!
  6. I played the ps2 version... and that's my impression: I think that the overall work of Collective is developed on an easy control scheme that gives access to a variety of different moves and combos that are quite simple to chain together. The game also features some kind of character development which rewards players with experience at the end of each level. Players can use this experience increase attacks and abilities, until becoming a Jedi Master. There's a large amount of unlockable content, such as special bonus missions and access some of the characters not otherwise playable in the main game. The graphics seem crisp and well defined, with everything remaining faithful to the movie. The main problem I think is the lenght. I'm not a super player, but I went through the whole game from beginning to end in about eight hours. Also, whether you're fighting battle droids or clone troopers, the enemies are all basically the same units, just dressed up a little differently. As a result, the combat starts to feel a little repetitive on occasion.
  7. Too bad now it disappeared....Maybe you guys would like to take a look at the following engine http://twinengine.com/ Personally I think it looks very cool with the split window for each engine (yahoo and google at the same time)!
  8. You people might give me a quite good tip regarding the topic... Currently I have 5(!) different e-mail accounts...email.ithotmail.comtele2adsl.dkgmail.comlibero.itFor sentimental reasons, I'm quite reluctant to close any of them (and it is difficult too.. too many lazy friends that ignore the change of address and keep on sending at the one they have in the address book), so is there a good way to centralize all the mailboxes in one? I don't know... a program that automatically forwards everything to the same account? Possibly freeware?Thanx for the tips!!!
  9. I would like to expand the subject regarding cloning of human beings....First, I think that many people might have the wrong perception of the whole process AND the results. At the current state of things, nobody ever even dreamt about creating a perfect copy of your body, stick it in a freezer cell in order to shop for new organs whenever needed... This is pure science fiction, not reality.Second, the cloning topic is very related to the staminal cells creation and their manipulation, and in detail related to the use of embrions for extracting these "blank" cells that in theory can turn into basically any kind of cell in our body.Is this unmoral? And above all, are embrions human beings (therefore the whole process would be not only unmoral, but also illegal), or just a bunch of cells that have the possibility to be a human being, but not yet (or not at this stage), therefore the operations described above don't harm the right to life granted by most countries in the world? Please feed back... I'm curious to hear your opinion on the subject!
  10. Small recap of my life (so you'll understand what's all about).Classic "immigrant" from one Country - Italy- to another - Denmark- for job reasons. Relocated, that's the fancy word for it. I don't speak the language. I don't understand it. I can't even read the back of the milk carton. This is the thing that currently is driving me mad the most... I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT GOES ON! Watching the news in TV is harder than climbing everest, reading the menu card in a restaurant is far outta my league and so on... JEEEEZ!Anybody ever tried anything like it????
  11. Well, at least you live in the country of a quite big place (US)... I moved from Venice to Copenhagen (Denmark) AND to the f*******g countryside of Denmark, to be precise!Jeez, how I hate these quite streets, old people walking by smiling all the time, no need to lock windows, nobody playing loud music!Really much Frank Capra I must add!!!
  12. I have to say that the most disappointing thing of the whole movie is actually the acting of Christensen (hope I spelled it right...). I mean, while in the second episode Anakin is simply a "good guy" (even though some evil starts popping out), in the third you need a hell of an actor to make the downdrop to the dark side credible and dramatic... mmmh, quite disappointing instead :-(
