it can take up to 48 hours.. but should take less time than that, generally it takes a few hours, for me at least. I own 3 domain names and I change nameservers too often and they don't take longer than 4 hours, but that doesn't apply all the time. Depends on registrar and many other factors.Good luck.

XP all the way! I haven't installed Vista yet, but none of my friends seemed to like it... mostly because of software compatibilities. It's just like when XP came out, not all games where compatible, but a year later everything was being made almost exclusively for XP.. I fear sometime in the future that might happen for Vista, I just pray that when the time comes, Vista would be way better than it is right now.I read somewhere that microsoft apologized for Vista, that they are aware the operating system is not as good as XP is right now. In fact, XP users are trying to make microsoft extend support and store sales for XP until 2014 or somewhere around that date, because they feel Vista is not yet ready for current market. The only good thing Vista has is DX10.. nothing else. And they should stop being childish and port DX10 for XP Then Vista would be total useless hahaha.

Your Widescreen Monitor should come with its own feature for what you ask. It's called FLAT Panel Scaling. I have an nvidia card and it shows me 3 choices. 1. Use monitor scaling (default) 2. Use Nvidia scaling (practically the same) 3. Use Nvidia scaling 2 now the third option does what you ask. If you change from WS resolution to.. lets say, 1024x768, you see two black bars at the left and right of the screen to keep aspect ratio. From what I read here it appears that you do not own a video card, but instead you have integrated S3 video card. That's bad news because you'd have to stick to your monitor's scaling, that means image stretching. But try to look in advance properties anywhere, maybe you'll find the option to change to keep aspect ratio. Good luck.

I use ubuntu hardy 8.04 and it comes with widescreen support, you might have to install third party drivers (nvidia, ati) to get full functionability though. I'm currently running at 1680x1050 (16:10) and no problems at all. Not sure about other distros, but there shouldn't be any problem with any of them right now when it comes to widescreen support.Remember, the most important thing is to install drivers, even if those are not made by your OS community.

weird, the second error tells you that there's an extra '}' on the code, but it's not your fault, you should re-install fantastico but removing the one you have first. About the first error, not sure, but check about file/directory permissions. Maybe that's the problem.

I always have the most amazing dreams, where I learn things I didn't know (while awake lol). I don't know, maybe it's because I eat to much the wrong food, or that my mind is all messed up, but my dreams are really crazy.. Right now I don't remember one of them, but when I do I'll post it here.Generally, I just remember the dream for a few minutes after waking up, then it's all gone. So I have to write it down if I want to remember things about that dream.There was this time were I was hired as a police officer, but I wouldn't do that in real life, I don't know but suddenly in the dream I was aware of a lot of things about policemen that I didn't know while awake. The other day also I had a very weird dream, it was a 2-part dream. The first time I saw a wall painting but couldn't read what was written. Then, few days ago I had the same dream, but this time I knew about the painting so I was waiting for the time to look at it.. and then I read it.. The name of my now fiancee was written in that wall She and I barely knew each other, but you see now we are about to get married

I won a nintendo, Super Nintendo, nintendo 64, Playstation, Playstation 2, ehmm... and of course, a PC :)I prefer nintendo because I'm a huge fan of Zelda, but also love playstation games. What I do hate is the xbox 360, not really sure why.. maybe because right now is the best console out there. And I heard recently that Final Fantasy XIII is going to release for xbox 360 also! OMG this is sad news for Sony... Final Fantasy was exclusive for Playstation and now Xbox wins this time.. oh well..Hope the Ps3 gets better in time! I think I'm gonna get one of those in the future.
