No. 1: It sounds like you were j-walking. So yes it sucks, but that's what you get. wink.gifNo. 2: If you were crossing legally (via cross-walk), then you should walk your bike across, not ride it. So yes it sucks, but that's what you get. wink.gifI hope your wrist gets better soon. (I actually do mean that.)Answer:1. I wasn't jay-walking, i was riding down a road, and this car comes out of this turn to my left as im biking across it and i have to stop to miss him IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!!!2. So i was biking my girlfriend back to her's earlier on, we were about half way back (only takes about 10-15 minutes) when we were biking across a junction, not a particularly busy road, speed limit 30 mph, when this crack a** insane driver comes swinging around the bend, completely ignoring the fact i was biking across it, and i managed to stop within an inch of his car, i did a massive endo from pulling my brakes so sharply and cleared his bonnet while my bike went cascading into his front left side panel (wooo) leaving him with a massive dint, me with a broken wrist and a buckled front wheel, he still drove off despite the fact my bone was popping out of my wrist, so I'm now typing this with one hand... PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T BE TO** POTS DRIVE AT THE SPEED LIMIT AND LOOK OUT FOR CYCLISTS!!!

This has been the hardest day of my life internet wise...Non the less its nearly done. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Could you please go there and check out ALL the links, making sure that they have no reference to fostergames.spacesocket.com (previous host thats what I've moved from) and they all work. I'll probably be updating this in a while with the forum on this host (i know that currently points at fostergames), so go and look round test all the forms and enjoy my creation!

<embed src="yourmusic.mid" width="140" height="40" autostart="false" loop="FALSE"> </embed> Where it says yourmusic.mid, change it to the source where your music is, width and height are obvious, autostart is when they go on the page does it start automatically, and loop is does it continuously play, pu that code where ever you like on the page (within body). To play music without the people having any choice (as background music) use this code: <BGSOUND SRC=your_file.mid LOOP=1> Set loop as any positive number or -1 as infinite, hope this helped P.S Google is your friend for future reference

I'd recommend downloading phpBB3/phpBB2, which is a forum with an chat program as a optional add on, all you need to do is swap a few files over, and its really clear! it took me and I'm a real novice with php and mysql about 10 minutes to set it up!

What Does Smoking Cause? its a bad idea to start
chappill replied to scutari's topic in Health & Fitness
Burn holes in the roof, holes in the pocket (if you get what i mean), blood clots, increased chance of strokes, breathing problems, funny blood because of the carbon monoxide in the cigarettes, instead of your red blood cells carrying oxygen they carry carbon monoxide (or dioxide I'm 14 what do you expect ). -
What Happens After Death? a theory beyond death or life on this earth
chappill replied to zak92's topic in Health & Fitness
Being atheist and completely not believing in anything, i think that as soon as we die we get put in the earth in a big wooden box then chewed up by worms, I'd be happy feeding the worms, but I'd rather have my ashes sprinkled over Fox's glacier. -
Rollercoaster Tycoon Theme park type simulations
chappill replied to arnz's topic in Computer Gaming
I had this game (or something close to it) on PS2 for about 2 years, i completed it time and time again and loved going into the park as the manager on a jet pack!?! And finding out how much people liked (or when you start) despised my theme park, and mainly my 25g force at every corner looses everyone on the ride make a mint in a day roller coaster!Straight out the station, up the steepest climb you could get, then straight down bending and twisting as it went, then at the bottom a massive sharp turn the looped round, all the people fell out and this was only possible with the best train, or it de-railed xD go destruction! -
I found this game about 620 days ago whilst surfing for some *cough* stuff *cough* on the internet, i thought hey why not play it it can't harm me, but i was wrong, this game has taken over 600 hours of my life away due to the addictingness of it. It's hard to get the hang of (or it was then because of the missing process page and the no tutorial), but now its easy.To 'survive' in the game you need a nice set of software (currently the max is 5.0 when i started it was 1.5) to achieve this software you have to do riddles, once you've completed the riddle (in a text file or a jpg image on the 'servers') you get another ip, you then goto it connect to it, log anyone else's ip that might be found in the logs (delete yours from it) download all the software then do the riddle on that. It sounds a bit tedious but its fun all the same.While your on the 'servers' you can install 3 different types of virus:1) Vspam, these use the servers CPU speed to send spam, somehow making you money (mass e-mails). This type of virus is mainly good for rep.2) Vshare, these use the servers internet connection to sell illegal warez (its all online not actually illegal) and making you money (and a little bit of rep you need the mix)3) Vddos, these are DDoS viruses, you install them on atleast 5 computers, then you launch a DDoS attack that can damage hardware (a good attack needs 18 of the top NPC (servers in game) this uses there cpu speed).Hardware:Processor:It ranges from 133Mhz cpu processor to a 4400Mhz processor costing 75000 euros.Connection:Ranges from 1mbit (free) to 1000.0 Mbit costing 1 500 001 euros.Hard drive:Ranges from 1gb (free) to a massive 2080.0 Gb costing 2 750 000 euros.External hard drive:Ranges from 0.3gb (i think) to 5gb (very small were campaigning to get it higher) costing 500000 euros.I hope you all sign up at slavehack.com;

I moved to Linux because i was annoyed with Vista, i also liked the sounds of decreased chances of viruses (they were a pain in the lower regions). My main reason for moving though was the fact that its so majorily simple to set-up and run a web server from your computer (not to mention secure I've managed to close off all my ports (for those who understand) including (somehow) port 80).Also i was bored, nothing to do all the games i played had gotten boring and notepad was so simple it bored me (I'd heard about GEdit). So one very cold afternoon after blowing my computer with a hair dryer because it refused to start, i set about finding the Linux version for me, this was easy due to Linux's distribution finder, and after 5 or so minutes i was downloading PCLinuxOS, i wanted Ubuntu but that didn't like my screen resolution. It's so simple to use and installing stuff is *insert word here* easy, after a week i had ton's of new games to play open office installed and a program to download music off you tube and then put them onto my ipod. I've recommended Linux to everyone and hope they take my advice!

Easy to read, good layout and most of all SIMPLE DESIGN, what i cannot stand in a website is an over complicated design where you have to hunt for 2 or 3 minutes to find the link to the contact section or forum (if they have one). Well done and I'm sure you will find somewhere to improve or just keep building to it!And you're about page and links page are under construction? Or is the link dodged up...Just thought I'd let you know anyway!

I got it 2 years ago in August, Its a Sony Ericsson k750i quick share, it was reasonably amazing until earlier this year when i dropped it and the camera stopped working (abit random!?!), It's quite reasonable, it takes quite abit of ruff and tumble, the screen stays clear in bright light and the keys are easy to see in the dark due to a backlight. The games are amazing considering its a phone it comes with tennis, Aero mission 3 and puzzle slider (which is a bit naff). The blue tooth sends files with an astounding rate and normally its the other phone that can't keep up! The infa red (yes it has both) sends files at about 17kb a sec, i don't know if thats good or bad i don't really use it. The problems: The phone weight quite alot, nearly 100 grams. Battery life is good to begin with but you need to be charging for 12 hours or you'll start loosing life. The joystick in the middle likes to become less and less responsive, with LIGHT use you'll notice this within 5 months, so its almost impossible to enjoy the games. http://static.meilleurmobile.com/images-product/mobiles/204.jpg So thats my phone, hope you liked it P.S I'm not sure how to get a picture in the actual post, but theres an attachment and a link for all those interested.

Vista Rumors rumors for those who still dont have that os
chappill replied to jopak134's topic in Operating Systems
Back in late July last year (2007) I bought a new Dell Dimension E521 (just in case you wish to look up the specs.) It came with windows Vista (joy(i thought)), for an extra ?200 i could of gotten XP professional, but i thought ?200!?! No chance, then hey everyone has said that Vista is amazing so I'll get that.By the end of August, I'd had enough...Crash dumps (the 'blue screen') more or less everyday, failing to start and presenting me with a black screen every now and again. So i downloaded Linux and installed that, over Vista. Then in the beginning of December I re-installed Vista over Linux, because i just didn't get how to install stuff (silly me i was trying to use a normal user rather that su command in terminal ), big mistake. After updating the Bias (it said that might be the problem) I thought woooo no more dodgey black screens and crash dumps, NEIN after 4 days i was annoyed again, so i re-installed Linux (duel booting), gradually decreasing the space windows had until i got the hang of Linux (easy enough if you give it a week or two) and after that week, vista had 0 space and was un-installed, yet again! So i have installed Vista 3 times and un-installed it the same amount of times!I recommend Vista, yes, use it to download Linux, then get rid!Just wish i had another ?200 back then (you had to buy a new processor, then new something else before it was 'compatible'). -
One terrabite is 1000gb, but because of the way company's format them and make the space, because of 1kb being 1000 bytes (instead of 1024 bytes) and then 1mb being 1000kb (instead of 1024 kb) and 1gb being 1000mb (instead of 1024 mb) and then 1000gb being 1 tb, which is actually 1000gb! The only reason you loose them is because its easier once you start getting into gb and even mb its hard to count, anyway im running a 320gb hard drive and soon a 500gb western my book backup, but with 320 bg i get like 280gb of space :/ 1 tb would hold alot of shizzle are you sure you need that much because its alot of cash if you don't!

Get a Linux distro that has Synaptic package manager, then all you have to do is load it up right click and select mark for installation, overall set-up took me about half an hour GO LINUX!

What Do You Guys Do When You Have Nothing To Do?
chappill replied to Minjoo's topic in General Discussion
Change my website (currently sat on my comp) and usually screw the whole thing up, thank god for cPanel cube's backup system, play a few MMORPG's, used to play Gunz online but that doesn't run on Linux and im not sure on how to convert that one... Or play Slavehack, an completely online computer hacking game, thats really fun, once you get the hang of it. Thats basically it, or go to my girlfriends house -
What's Your Favorite Game System - Console select one from each poll
chappill replied to ICE-XG's topic in Computer Gaming
Hmmm this poll's a little funny, the first question says, Microsoft:, that doesn't help because i run Linux xD, but my choice was xbox 360, seaming that i own one...The second one was a little harder i have both the PS2 and the PS3 but the no wires (without the need for accessories) and the 60gb hard drive wins it for the PS3.The Nintendo one was easy...i have a DS and a game boy advance, my sisters colour is good (not) but doesn't win, the wii is superb, although the graphics suck compared to the other to i like watching the little people trying to mimic your actions on screen . -
